I refer to the experience/procedure as a 100% fail. I'm not blind but I really do not like having to wear glasses and now I have to wear 2. A particularly annoying outcome of the Lasik surgery is that I used to be a pretty good clay pigeon shooter and now I'm below average at best. This was 100% caused by the eye surgery as the Dr. purposely made each eye different from the other. One eye was for short distances and the other for long distances. In nature both eyes are very similar and when shooting the shooter sees one target. With the Lasik I now see 2 targets. It totally screwed up my shooting.

Deceptive Unethical Practice…read more Under Dr. Littzi's direction, costs for expensive services/tests are not explained clearly PRIOR to them being given, and the total cost for my visit was an expensive surprise bill. One cost of $55 for a "retinal image screening test" was clearly communicated to me, and I agreed to that charge which would be in addition to my eye exam charge of $150. When I checked out, I paid a bill that was $205. I thought I was paying for the eye exam and the retinal image screening. All good. I did not realize until I got home that I had paid for 2 tests, and I was also going to be billed for an eye exam, bringing the total cost to $355. My husband, who had referred me to Dr. Littzi, called the office and was told by the female receptionist that it was "assumed" that I wanted the second test in order to get new glasses. I never even realized I was getting a second test--I thought this was all part of a routine eye exam. It was NEVER communicated to me that there would be an additional charge of $150. Why was I clearly informed about the charge for one test, but not for the other? Dr. Littzi refused to make an adjustment and this is not fair, or ethical. I should have been clearly informed of all charges before tests were given.
