Amazing service, the food was great. Will come back again. It's a one man show, but he really did a great job.

I enjoyed the Bossman burger with chips and sweet tea. It was very juicy and had a real nice amount of bacon (to the owner don't ever skimp on that - it really made your burger stand out. She also had a decent amount of their fries, which I stole a few and were very good. It's a nice place that apparently has local talent/musicians come in and play. The bar area, even though i didn't try looked decent. As for service. Sorry can't remember the servers name. However, she served us very well and in fact we watched her serve all the tables in there this afternoon. I think she did a great job. So when I do come back in this area i would absolutely consider visiting again. I hope you give it a try.

We all ordered different dishes so we could try the different cuisine. The selections offered was expansive. It is a family owned business, we're Papa does the cooking and the sons do everything else. Next time we decided to order several pizza pies.

We split the olde world canzone. How can you tell it is 5 stars? You don't want the gravy that's served on the side. The crust was crisp, flakes, light and enveloped a combo of pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms, ricotta, and mozzarella. As for the sauce, it was an authentic Italian Sunday Gravy that you could taste the chicken bones that were used to make the broth that complimented the tomato base. The herbs that were used to season the Gravy seasoned it well. And the sauce was cooked down. The garlic knots are to die for. They are served topped with a garlic infused oil. And a bowl of parmesean cheese.

Everything we ordered was delicious and clearly made with care. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food and service helped make up for it. One of the sweetest touches was when she brought out free ice cream for the kids. Totally unexpected and such a kind gesture that made the experience feel extra personal. Definitely a place we'd come back to.

The area is small but they do have places to go. As a matter of fact, this restaurant is located behind a church so chances are you'll blink and miss it like I did. Let's see how the visit went, shall we? The restaurant is spacious where you have a bar section on one side with a gaming area and hi-top tables and another section with a bar area, pool tables and seating tables where we were located. The decor is really nice (didn't get a chance to take pics) and spotless. Definitely a place where you can catch sports games and such. After our party arrived, it was time to place our orders. I selected their fish and chips (rockfish was the protein) along with red crispers and I replaced their coleslaw with green beans. Overall, the dish was really good. The fish was crispy and well seasoned and the red crispers tasted wonderful with their homemade tarter sauce as the dipper. I wasn't a big fan of the green beans as I prefer mine to be soft though. But I was plenty full with the dish overall. The reason why I gave them 4 stars was service for our group. It wasn't bad as we were attended to by the welcoming staff, but it was 3 total servers which was a little weird. One server was new and messed up some of the orders. And for one person, their dish came out a little different than how she imagined so she sent it back and paid nothing. Again, not bad service but much needed training for the new guy. Even with the slight mishaps, the drive was worth it. I could definitely go here again and try different dishes. Till next time :)

Our food came in about 15 minutes. We didn't have the best service-the server was friendly, but it took forever for us to get her to come take our order and we had to ask someone else for refills. We asked for several things during our visit and always had to wait at least five minutes. It took 10 minutes for us to get our bill after we asked. She checked up on us one time. You have to pay at the counter on your way out, and that did take quite a while because of people getting coffees and desserts. It would be better if the waitress could take payments. I will definitely come back for the food. Hopefully the service will be better. Don't miss out on this gem!

I had a chocolate covered strawberry latte when I was there one day. It really hit the spot for my drive home. I enjoyed their fresh tomato soup, and sandwich with pasta salad. I brought cupcakes home to enjoy with the family. They are a pretty good size. Overall, this is a hot spot in Gloucester. I highly suggest checking them out.

We only waited about 15 minutes. But the view of the water made the wait enjoyable. The atmosphere was appropriate for a casual place. Lots of dark wood, a bar, booths and, I assume, faux copper ceiling tiles. We were seated in a high table near the window with a view of York River. Our server was great! She helped me make a choice of beer. The double IPA was citrusy which I like. I was torn between the fish tacos, a loaded baked potato with "famous" chili, or grilled crab sandwich. She said beyond a doubt get the tacos. She was so right! I love fish tacos. The Booming Tacos, an off-the-menu item, was over the top. I mean there was so much rockfish it was over the top of the grilled flour tortilla. The moist blackened fish pieces laid atop spring mix and drizzled with a creamy spicy boom boom sauce. My husband had the Rachel, a turkey sandwich on rye with Russian dressing and coleslaw, it came with french fries that seemed to have a bit of a coating that made them very crunchy. Everything was great. If ever back in the area, this will be the place to eat.

Had to add salt and pepper to taste anything and then just didn't even eat 1/2. Paid an extra $1 for cheese and onions on top. I'm talking bye 7 little cheese pieces and the same with tiny onions. Their clam chowder was salty. And other than the fried seafood, it wasn't worth the cost. Need to remind ourselves this is tourist trap with bumped up prices for quickly made (and not properly seasoned) food. Major disappointment and a waste of $30 for a sandwich, fries and a cup of chili
