There is excessive condensation and FLEETWOODUSA nor SMITH BROS has respect us as a client, with windows under warranty to replace them. Every professional has come out from diff temperature companies, A/C, humidity companies on a room that has new construction stating that there is a seal, insulation failure of these windows. Our contractor who is excellent purposely let Smith install to be responsible for any issues. This the worst company to deal with, rude, arrogant and would never do business w them or Agoura. You will get a lack of accountability. Go anywhere else but here.

I called and confirmed in the morning and let Patrick know that I'd be leaving early for my lunch break and to tell me if they'd be late. He mentioned that the appointment was confirmed and to expect them at 12. By 1230 no one showed up. I called Patrick and he mentioned that something must have happened and he'd have to reschedule, but didn't know where his guy was (which is strange). So I told him that I can wait for another 30 minutes or have my brother leave for work later just to be able to see the contractor/estimator when he arrives. I asked very politely if he could call me back with an update as soon as he can so I can decide whether to go back to work or not. My brother and I waited for an hour and a half and received no phone calls. I called back and it went straight to voicemail, and received no return call. Didn't expect this kind of treatment from such a highly reviewed business. Wasted my time, my brother's time, and my girlfriends time. Least I could have expected was an update or a courtesy call. I still haven't received any calls to reschedule. Long story short: If you need a quote/visit schedule it on a day that you're home, or don't make extra accommodations to meet them. They likely won't show up and won't even call to tell you.

He promised us he'd have an estimate within 5 days but actually provided it, with a CAD, in 3 hours. My husband and I were shocked at how reasonable the estimate was. In fact it was so reasonable it allowed us to splurge on extras, like a blind-corner pullout cabinet. He estimated it would take 4-6 weeks to complete, which was less than half the time of the other quotes we received. Guess what? He had them ready in 2 weeks. The installation was a master class on attention to detail. The paint job was outstanding. We are absolutely thrilled with how the cabinetry turned out. I, like everyone else, have heard the horror stories about contractors. No horror here! Just a professional and reliable experience. Friendly to boot! I told Eileen upfront, prior to hiring her, that I'm both very picky and want to be involved in the design. She pleasantly accepted all my feedback, changes, and sometimes issues. Eileen and her project manager, Kathy, were on top of things during my recent bathroom remodel. She and Kathy answered all of my many questions and were patient when I expressed some frustration. I will say that what made me the happiest was the communication as to when the sub-contractors would be arriving AND that either Eileen or Kathy would be there at the same time to ensure everything was on track. I was picky: pointing out some issues that were addressed immediately. Now that's good customer service. Krisie from Eileen's office was a delight to deal with and very professional. From day one until the end, Eileen was available, supportive, honest, patient, and fair. I had lots of questions along the way and Eileen was always very responsive, even on weekends. When I told my friends what we were looking to do to our home and that we hired a contractor, the reaction they had was that their experience with remodeling was a nightmare. Well, they didn't know Eileen. This was the no-stress express. She handled EVERYTHING. This was completely stress-free for us. She hired all of the people and they were all amazing craftsmen, super nice and always accommodating. If, on rare occasion, we weren't happy with something, they came back right away and fixed the problem to our specifications. There were a few times when I needed a fixture or an item and I didn't want to go to the store to pick it out myself, so I said to Eileen, you pick it out, I trust your taste. I was never disappointed! She has excellent taste. With respect to price, if not for the things WE decided to add along the way and a few things that needed to be addressed that either weren't up to code in our home, or something that needed to be fixed, our project came in very close to budget. We recently completed a full kitchen remodel with JRP, and we couldn't be more pleased. We spent a few months working with one of their designers, Danni Krueger. After we provided Danni with our ideas and inspiration photos, she created two different design options for us to consider. Her designs not only dramatically improved our kitchen's functionality (e.g., adding a lot more storage and counter space), they also were aesthetically beautiful. She recommended many things that we could never have come up with on our own. Danni is also super personable and easy to work with. Planning/schedule: Have you ever been frustrated about contractors starting a project and then having long periods of time where nothing seems to happen and your project grinds to a halt? That was the opposite of our experience. At the outset of our project, JRP provided a detailed schedule that we could follow on an app (Buildertrend). They had someone doing some sort of work nearly every day, so it always felt that we were moving the ball forward. They provided us daily updates (with pictures) to share what they had done that day and what they planned to do the next. Occasionally, when there was a necessary schedule change, they promptly communicated it along with the reason. Team: Day-to-day, we dealt mostly with Grant Walker (Project Manager) and Regin Wilson (Superintendent). At least one of them showed up every day to give direction and make sure the work was getting done right. These are highly professional, solid guys, and we completely trusted them with our home. If something wasn't done right (which invariably happens in every large project), they were usually the ones to identify it and make sure it was properly fixed. No arguments, and no headaches or stressful conversations that you might be used to having with a contractor. JRP seems to understand that this is the last thing you want to deal with. It's so refreshing. Finished Kitchen: Finally, we couldn't be happier with the final product. Our kitchen is amazing, and everyone who has seen it has been highly impressed. We plan to stay in our house for a while, and our new kitchen will make that time much more enjoyable. *** We have done several remodeling projects over the years, and we've worked with numerous contractors. We have never dealt with a better company than JRP. They might seem a bit pricier than some of their competitors, but that doesn't mean they are more expensive.
