Our 13 year old pup was showing signs of some kind of cold/bronchitis situation. LCAH was able to get him in within a week and provided great care to him throughout his visit. I really appreciated that they had special accommodations and considerations for animals that might be contagious (like mine) and for pets who may have sensitivity to going to the vet (I saw many enter while I waited to pick our pup up). They have a relatively large clinic and lots of staff on hand to support with caring for your animals. We will definitely now be regulars here and appreciate the care shown towards our furry family member.

Dr. Brand has a lot of experience with birds and when I have an issue or species she isn't as familiar with, she's completely up front with me. But the key is, she's always willing and interested to learn!! So if I bring her something new, she'll let me know what she knows or doesn't know, and then she'll research to try to find the best solution for my animal! That is invaluable to me. Her staff is friendly and professional, and her new office is clean clean and bright. A little challenging to get into the parking lot if it's your first time, since it's on a busy street, but once you've been you'll see how to make it easier next time you visit. I think her prices are very fair, and so far it isn't a long wait to get in to see her. I've been coming to Dr. Brand for the past 3 offices she's worked at. But she bought this location so she's not going anywhere now and that's awesome!

Before paying, I politely asked if the bill had been updated before I paid since they werent able to do the procedure we had schedule and the front desk gal looked very confused. she asked me to hold on and went to get a vet tech from the back. the tech told me that I "had to pay my bill" in a very aggressive manner. I assured her that I was not refusing the bill, just asking what was on it to be sure that I wasn't charged for the originally scheduled procedure that had been cancelled. either way, consistently an overall a negative experience on top of what's already a stressful time. Maybe they are going through a difficult time, like I think a recent retired doctor, but it's just been a recent change in overall attentiveness and level of care. There isn't consistently a place for the pets to wait for there turn in a quiet space. Families aren't all given the chance to stay in the room with their pets. It is considered a special request. Our cat ended up having to wait in the car to avoid the sounds and smells of the dogs. He dislikes dogs, so this already makes it a little challenging and stresses him out. We voiced other concerns with them directly, so I don't think it's necessary to include everything here, but just wanted to leave a review as feedback so hopefully they take it to heart to improve. We are sad to leave this practice. They were so friendly and caring until the end of our time having our cat as a patient. I am not leaving a bad rating, just 3 stars because the vets are actually really skilled. But the admin staff and support from the techs hasn't felt up to par recently. Hopefully things get back on track.

Tip: arrive right before they open at noon. We waited about five minutes and were seen immediately. The initial exam fee was around $140. The facility is incredibly clean and modern, and every staff member we interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. They took their time answering all of my questions and clearly explained my options without any pressure- outlining both the minimum recommended testing and additional tests purely for reassurance. Lab work revealed mild pancreatitis. Bentley received fluids and anti-nausea medication, and we went home with antibiotics, digestive support, and prescription food to support his recovery. I left feeling confident that he was truly cared for from every angle. While the visit was more expensive than I initially expected, it was absolutely worth it. I walked out with answers, clarity, and peace of mind- and I would not hesitate to bring Bentley back here again.

Without running any tests the vet came back and said it might be cancer. I acknowledged that may be the case but thought it was alarmist and premature to say that. The technician came back after cleaning the ear up to say they at this point they do agree it's a wound with possible infection, not cancer. Although they wanted to meet with me to go over the treatment and meds before I left, they forgot to put an antibiotic medicine dispenser in my bag, and three separate times I had to remind them to go back and give my (feral) cat his first dose of antibiotics, and flea meds, and remind them again to check for worms. They also forgot to give me topical antiseptic pads so I can clean the wound. I think they are training young interns who have no idea what they are doing.
