The transmission went out on the largest truck that we rely on the most, so I took it to Albert, the owner of Mr.Transmission to get it repaired. It took $1,500 AND about a week to get the truck running again, but it broke down a week later. The work was supposed to be guaranteed, so I took it back to him to get it repaired. I picked it up 6 weeks later and it broke down again after driving one block. He had it for another two weeks but could not diagnose the problem. I finally had enough of him and his lies, so I wound up sending it to another shop. The moral of this story is DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ALLOWING ALBERT OR ANYONE AT HIS SHOP TO TOUCH YOU CAR. HE IS A LIER, A THIEF, AND SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR STEALING PEOPLES MONEY.

Long story short after all the bullshit, we bring it here and they were great and friendly. They test drove it and knew almost instantly what the problem was. The sun shell needed to be replaced and after researching on the internet we were positive they made a correct diagnoses and had confidence in them. They saved us a lot of money too from the idiots that wanted to rebuild the transmission. There's some crooked people out there but I think these guys have your best interest. An honest mechanic…read more Tom has to be one of the last honest mechanics around. A couple of times, my car has been making some sounds that I couldn't isolate. I went in with what I thought were worn brakes (128,000 miles in), ready to spend a few hundred dollars without question. Tom stated they still had 50% and were good for a good while longer. Today when my alternator suddenly quit, I was surprised when I heard the price. After some side research and a call to two other shops (one of which I really trust as well!), 3 Guys had a completely fair price and can get the part 4 days faster. I see the negative reviews below and know that if the customers followed up, Tom would take care of it. I can recommend one other fair shop in Savannah (Not Savannah Tire), but this is about 3 Guys, and they run a fair shop and charge fair prices.

They diagnosed it, told me it needed a manifold plate to adjust it, and ordered the part. The next call I get? They claim the car suddenly won't go into drive and tried to quote me thousands of dollars for a brand-new transmission. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my transmission when I drove it onto their lot. I told them to stop, park it, and I would come get it. They then had the nerve to charge me $500 for the "work" they supposedly did. I paid the ransom just to get my car back and had to have it towed home. I have never in my life driven a functioning car into a mechanic's shop only to have it towed back to my house. Terrible customer service, shady practices, and an all-around bad business. Avoid at all costs.

I needed my right axle, both front shocks, transmission/engine mount, transmission seal, starter…read moreand radiator fan replaced. After getting my shocks replaced I started hearing a noise coming from the right front tire, I brought this up two or three times to the mechanics, well he didn't actually inspect anything just drove it around, then told me the shocks were settling, which I did not believe was accurate. Finally yesterday afternoon I took it and got an inspection done at Firestone and the mechanic at Firestone indicated they did not think the transmission mount was replaced or the other strut was replaced either and he did not push my axle in all the way. Firestone told me my car is extremely unsafe and to be very careful when taking right turns. I sent the reports over to the mechanics to which he initially would not address the issues. Please avoid! I paid for services that were not completed. The mechanic in question was Yandres. Now mind you, they did finally come out and fix the issues but it was only after I threatened legal action. Seems to me like the mechanic was pocketing my money and not replacing parts. It never should have gotten to this point, they should've done what they needed to do and it would've been fine.

I am sad to report this final update. A week or so after the work was done, I began to hear a…read moremetal rattle when the vehicle was first started in the morning. I would hear the rattling for a few minutes till the vehicle warmed up, then it went away. The 2nd time it happened, the transmission had difficulty leaving park and going into reverse. I called the Lincoln dealership in Savannah as the owner of this mobile service made it clear, he was not interested in continuing our relationship based on previous interaction. JC Lewis Lincoln said the transmission was 2 QUARTS LOW on transmission fluid and that the procedure for post startup and lubricating the planetary gears didn't seem to be followed, which I can confirm, the vehicle was NOT driven per the Lincoln dealership requirements. It is now obvious to me, that the Lincoln Procedure for transmission fluid flush was NOT followed and it is probable that the tech did not know what was required and by extension is NOT CERTIFIED to work on a Lincoln. I am fortunate to catch this HUGE and unacceptable mistake and have it rectified before severe consequences. CAUTION: BUYER BEWARE.
