This was a Sunday afternoon and the center was packed. And there's plenty of shopping as well. The center is well laid out, emasculatory clean and plenty of places to shop until you drop. Some stores have waiting lines to get inside. My time was limited so I could only spend an hour there after lunch but, without a doubt, I'll be back again in dine and shop.

The magnitude of this shopping, dining, and entertainment center is beyond compare from what I've heard. It offers over 170+ specialty stores, major department stores, well-known restaurants, and entertainment venues. That's gigantic! The premier outside shopping venue is anchored by Nordstrom and Target sharing space with so many more top brands, boutiques, and unique shops. Just to name a handful... Anthropologie, Apple, Bacio de Latte, Barnes & Noble, Build-A-Bear, Cotton On / Cotton On Body, Din Tai Fung, Fabletics, FOGO de CHAO, Georgia's, H&M, lululemon athletica, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, MINISO, Nike, Sephora, Silverlake Ramen, SomiSomi, The Melt, Urban Outfitters, Vuori, Yard House I was recently here for dinner at Yard House. Parking was a challenge for sure. Come early to make it easier for you. Anyway, I'm coming back to spend one full day exploring this place in the near future. Ferris wheel and I shall meet once! Join me in the fun and food.

The only downside is that there aren't many chargers, so it can get crowded. For example, today there were three cars ahead of me, and all chargers were full, so I decided to skip waiting since I still had enough miles and go to a different super charger further away. I just wish they had more Superchargers here to make it easier for everyone.

The charge is adding 391 miles of driving range per hour and the cost is $0.59 which is reasonable. Oh about +5 it means I already added 5 miles of range during this charging section...So bueno..I explained with numbers then you are not going to be surprised. Most important thing., It's ONLY for Tesla cars so keepp in mind... It could be crowded specially that its closed by freeway and nearby tesla chargers are not too close so they dont have whole bunch of station. Other thing, there is taco bell next to it and MC donalled, chipotle, Starbucks and etc in your 4/5 min walking so its not a dull moment. I love fast charger station and i didnt face any difficulties. I enjoyed my SB till my Tesla got charged so 5/5... there is no vacuum or cleaning things around so its not fully eciped that i saw and no lounge...

The mall does tend towards high end stores with a small smattering of standard stores but in general, there are a wide variety of stores. Plenty of dining options from high end or quick casual. You can even do your grocery shopping here as there is a Whole Foods market. They occasionally have special events. I happened to be here during the Lunar New Year event so one of the areas was decked out with Year of the Horse decorations. I also always walk by the Koi pond to see how the fishes are doing. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I visit.

It's had it's share of anchors leaving (think Circuit City and Forever 21), but the owner (Irvine Company) continues to pour money into it, to keep it fresh and relevant. As an example, when Forever 21 declared bankruptcy and closed its store in 2019, the building was demolished in 2022 to make way for a new Restoration Hardware gallery store...which we found to be quite nice. Parking is plentiful, (mostly) covered, and free, with a pedestrian bridge on the 3rd floor taking one to the main part of the mall. And it seems to be one of the most dog friendly malls in the area, which is saying a lot. One will see a lot of signs for something called 'The Lot', which is a high end, ultra-luxury, cinema/cafe/restaurant, geared towards the clientele that the area feeds.
