Super intrigued by the reviews of this company. While it seems that the experience can be hit or miss with these guys, my experience was pretty flawless. Called AAA around 1 PM because my car needed a jump. AAA told me someone from Elite would be out within 45 minutes. Within 20 minutes, Mike showed up from Elite. Mike tested my battery, alternator, and convertor. He offered to replace the battery and advised me of the price and warranty period. I wasn't sure if my old battery was still under warranty and Mike wasn't pushy at all. He gave me his number in case I changed my mind. When I did change my mind, Mike came back super quick, installed the new battery, and suggested I keep the receipt with warranty info in the glovebox in case a similar situation ever comes up. This is a review for the tow technician that came out - George. On 5/6, my car died and I needed to get it towed to the dealership. IElite Roadside was patched via AAA. The tech George called when he was en route to my location - very courteous. He was actually able to get my car running again and suggested that I drive the car to the dealership. He said that he would follow behind me to make sure nothing happened to me. So he did just that, I drove to the dealership with George right behind. When I arrived to the dealership, George even parked to shake my hand and wished me luck with my car issue. I am super impressed with there service So I ran out of gas on the 5 north going home from work around midnight and called Honda care for roadside assistance and they sent Elite roadside and told me it would be 45 mins. Within a minute of hanging up I got a call from the dispatch office informing me that they got the call and they would send a driver as soon as possible. Reassuring everything would be okay. 5 mins later the driver Alan called me later and also updated me that he was 10 mins away and he just got the fuel. Absolutely the best towing experience! Johnny was dispatched by my insurance to attempt to jumpstart or tow if necessary. Johnny arrived before I could make it back to my car so he waited about 15 minutes for me to get there. After a failed jumpstart, Johnny said it was probably the starter (it turned out he was correct). He was able to tow my car to a shop of my choice and let me know about how much they charge per mile in case my insurance didn't cover the tow. In my case THIS was the company that my insurance decided to send me and they absolutely do not know how to run a smooth business. I think the "good" reviews have to be fake and paid for. I would not recommend this place! They should really employ people with knowledge of changing car batteries. I missed half of day of work and I'm out 300 dollars for the bad service and run around "Elite" assistance. They replaced my battery and it still wouldn't start unless the battery is jump start. He told me it could be my alternator and suggested to take to autozone or pepboys. I purchased battery thinking it's my car that is bad. Pepboys told me that the alternator and charging system is working fine and referred me to a mechanic that can look at it at that time. The mechanic told me Elite Roadside Assitance gave me a bad battery. The mechanic replaced the battery and my car can start with out being jump start. Called their office to tell them what happened and that I want a refund. I had to pay for two car batteries! They never called me back and I had to call my insurance agent that referred me to them.
