A friend of mine was eager to try The Coat Room after seeing a promotional photo of one of their cocktails, so I decided to bring a group of coworkers there for dinner during our last visit to Saratoga. The entrance has a hidden speakeasy vibe, and the decor inside perfectly matches that aesthetic. On a Sunday night, we had no trouble getting a table. Our group was seated in a private booth, which provided ample space for us to catch up. The menu was extensive, and there were so many tempting options, but I opted for a dirty martini and the heritage pork ragu. Both were absolutely delectable. Other members of my party ordered the roasted beets, patatas bravas, garlic shrimp, and Caesar salad, and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Overall, this would definitely be a fantastic spot for future celebrations!

What a hidden gem in the heart of Saratoga Springs. It was a little bit difficult to find ( thus, the "Speakeasy") because the entrance is tucked away inside of what appears to be an office building. It's a very cozy spot with a nice and relaxing vibe. There are some drinks specials, which were colorful and seasonal. They also had a nice wine list, cocktails, and a variety of beers to choose from. We ordered a number of dishes to be shared, including appetizers, small plates, and main dishes. Each were presented you and every item we ate was simply delicious. We also had a lemon olive oil cake which we loved. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and seem to be readily available Should you need them.

Amazing place! You have to try it!!!! So unique and cozy!!! Service was amazing and food was also very very good. We started off with the one item charcuterie board and then had the mushroom pizza and a ceasars salad. We will be back soon!!!

Had an amazing time here with my friends. While we waited for a table, we grabbed a few seats at the bar and had really good martinis. Pizza and aged cheeses were addicting... drinks were the star of the show though!! Super cool atmosphere, theres a bunch of different rooms/spaces/floors that tables are in and makes the experience very intimate, would def go back.

This place is like in another world, you open their door and are greeted by beautiful decor and smiling faces. We did not get any food but the drinks were great. I'd definitely come back to try the food

First of all, the password: "Otis sent me." No wait, it's actually "I'd like to check a coat," But I confirmed they will also let you in with no password at all. It's a harmless gimmick, like wearing a fascinator at the track. Nothing to get into high dudgeon about. Love the concept, loved the food on my first visit. No signage on the street; you enter an unmarked door and go down a long hall till you see "coat room" on your right. Open and enter a small but classy space with a small dining room on your right with overstuffed banquettes and a bar on your left, where I as a solo diner asked to be seated. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy at the same time. It will be a treat to hang out here on a wintry evening. There's a small lunch menu which included a perfect BLT made with toasted Nightwork sourdough, peppery house cured bacon and seasonal halved cherry tomatoes. Could not have been better. Was served with a cup of potato chips and half a dozen house cured bread and butter pickle slices for $16. The lunch menu ends at 3 and gives way to a much more interesting "lounge menu" of various small bites which is served from 3 to 5 till the dinner menu begins. Steak tartare caught my eye so I predict a quick return visit. The service was more than friendly which I appreciated, feeling a little self conscious coming in on a whim and being seriously underdressed. This is my new favorite place in Saratoga.

I absolutely loved this place. I forgot to write my review ahead of time, so I can't remember what cocktail my husband and I ordered. I believe he had a paper plane, and I don't like whiskey and I liked his drink. My drink was fantastic. They were great well mixed craft cocktails. The place had the coolest vibe ever. All of the staff were super friendly as well. We definitely want to go back.

Secluded location with a mysterious entrance, a speakeasy restaurant with a great ambiance. Menu is smaller than other restaurants I've been to but the selections should satisfy the pallet. Waiter was super attentive. Started with a delicious small plate of octopus followed by bolognese and lamb chops. Everything was cooked delicious, blended with great spices. Beautiful bar and tried their 3 Irish Sisters signature cocktail drink.

    Best Caesar salad and BLT.

Hidden gem of Saratoga Springs! Worth finding, as you cannot see the restaurant from broadway. (Long hallway and small black door at the end on the right). A formal and classy ambiance, yet casual and quaint at the same time. The food tops it off- it's all made from scratch and to order. This was our first trip for brunch, which was the best in town. They don't miss any details - anchovies are the best I've ever had and the BLT was out of this world. Service is excellent. 5 stars for sure.

The outside was soft, but the inside wasn't as fluffy as it looked. It was a little too bready compared to standard French toast. Normally, I see French toast as a soft fluffy type of bread. This wasn't that. My partner said it was OK though! But he did say it didn't taste like French toast that we expected. Nonetheless, the shrimp and grits was great, and my partner loved it a lot! The service was OK, but after we ate, we waited about 30 minutes to get our check. They took our dishes and we asked for a check, but we still had to wait 20 minutes after which was a little agitating. We actually had to go up to the front and tell them "hey we asked for a check can we get the check now", is was an experience. I understand it was a weekend and the restaurant was half full. But we did ask for a check and we have nothing on our tables, it took as long as it took to get the food to just to get the check.

You'll also get great descriptions of everything from the awesome Chefs and maybe get to try something extra too. I recommend using the reservation system on their website and specify your seating preferences. You can choose from the Chef's Counter, the bar, a high-top table, a low table, or an outdoor table (weather permitting). We also appreciated them asking about food allergies on the reservation system too and they verified it when we arrived. We are already planning on coming back Sunday for brunch and know we'll be back again soon for dinner.
