I always turn too early and have to drive through the parking lot looking for the service dept. Ll. Interior It's set up a little nicer than the Marietta Toyota location. Quiet, carpeted area with multiple televisions and upholstered chairs. Customer Service Brenton Stump was amazing. So patient and friendly. This was actually my second visit here. In fact, I could have sworn that I wrote a review last year but it's missing. I had a chance to watch Mr. Stump interact with both his coworkers and other customers and I really like how he went out of his way to smile and greet everyone and to make sure people had been taken care of. Not to knock others, but I noticed a few people that seemed more focused on their cell phones than checking on customers. Mr. Stump emailed me with pricing info before I came in and he even followed up with me when I missed my oil change appointment on my second vehicle. Pricing / Value I've been a Camry owner for over 12 years now. I'm on my fifth Camry. I know .... I know ... I'm a cliche. I've been going to Marietta Toyota all this time. Last year, Marietta didn't have time to do my oil change before I went on a necessary road trip to south Ga. I wound up, here, at Cobb County Toyota. I was AMAZED at the fact that the price difference. Cobb County charges $65.90 for my Camry's oil change and __ for my Lexus oil change. Overall Overall, I really like going here. It's a few miles further but worth it. I had two REALLY negative experiences with them a few years back (once with sales, when I was hunting for a new Camry and once when I after I got the new Camry and had issues with it randomly not starting). Sham deals, sham business application denials and untrustworthy employees from the managers to salesperson(s). I do not recommend doing business with Cobb County Toyota. They lied and told me I was not approved for a 2025 Toyota Grand highlander under the business credit. I refuse to give my hard earned money to somebody who treats me with distain and contempt, who is rude obnoxious and doesn't have the wherewithal to understand the customers point of view, and refuses to take responsibility for their actions. I took my wife's Toyota Prius that we purchased from Cobb County Toyota in 2017 to the service department on Saturday October 12 around 11-11:30 I pull in, there's one vehicle in the left lane one vehicle in the right lane of the service department. I turn off the vehicle step out of the car. A couple of guys are sitting at their service counters. After a few seconds one of the fellows asks, do you need help? I replied yes that's what I'm here for. He replies, what do you need? I said I need an oil change in my wife's car and check the valve stems on the tires because the light in the dash keeps coming on showing that there's something wrong with the tires. He replies well it's gonna take an hour and a half to two hours to get that done. Are you willing to wait? I replied yes I'm willing to wait I take my vehicle here all the time and every time I come here you all tell me it's an hour and a half to two hours to get the oil changed. I'm familiar with it. He states again it's an hour and a half to two hours to get done what you're asking, do you still want to do that? I then asked, look man are you trying to discourage me from getting my car serviced today because twice you said the same thing to me about how long it was going to take. I said look man, take this from the customers point of view, you're coming off as having a bad attitude right now and that's not good for your brand. If you don't want to help me, then direct me towards somebody else who will. I understand we have bad days. That is never a viable excuse for treating a customer the way you are now. And I said you know, you are not the only dealership in town that I can go to get service. At that point, he basically told me to get in my car and leave. Before I left, though I went to the front office and I got the general managers, business card, his name is Joel Treiger. He wasn't available, but I'm sure I'll speak with him soon. Maybe someone in his position will be more eager, and not as reluctant to hear the customers point of view on the treatment coming from his staff in the service department. I have my doubts. It's been my experience that this kind of behavior usually starts from the top down and is never addressed correctly and is allowed to continue and usually that type of behavior towards customer's results in somebody living in a box under the 10th St. bridge. At this point, I will repeat the words of the old Popeye cartoon. I've had all I can stands, and I can't stands no more. Fix the problem, or go broke. I told them to put on the spare, $39.95 to change a tire... then I took it to Gordy Tire...They fixed it and put the spare back on for $25.00...beware of these Toyota people. They tried to sell me fuel system cleaner for $30.00 something once...I asked and it is Seafoam, ad yes it was...get it for $6.00 at Walmart. read more

Our Toyota Matrix was rear-ended in the rain and the responsible driver's insurance company works with Cobb Toyota (our first choice) and we were able to have them do the repairs. I overpaid for a vehicle here, and the worst part about it was the remote car keys (that fold inwards) given were flimsy and one broke out of the socket shortly after. I called Toyota several times to see about getting at least one of them replaced, and no manager that I spoke with cared about me getting ripped off or my situation with the broken keys. They instead offered to transfer my call and sell me one. When I found out the price for new keys ($600!), I decided to hold onto my remaining flimsy key for as long as I could. I decided to bite the bullet this week after my one key became even more loose. This place is inconsiderate and money hungry. Never again. read more

Took my car in for a recall. Left my knock off yeti powder coated 32oz glass with lid, handle and metal straw in the cup holder . Someone there stole it probably thinking it was a yeti. Called spoke to the service rep Simon he was instantly defensive there is no reason to take it out. Let him know it was definitely in my car when I dropped it off in his care. He put me on hold to "go look" held 10 minutes he did not come back someone eventually picked up the phone and asked if I had been helped I told them I was holding for Simon. They said hold Simon picked up and asked can I help you? He seemed very surprised I was on the phone. He stumbled over his words and said I looked it is not there I asked for a manager he said he would have him call. Surprise I am still waiting read more

Came here for a free airbag recall and to ask if they could install a passenger side rear view mirror, with the mirror available. After an hour and a half of labor, they called me to say the mirror was not the right one (my fault) and charged me almost $250 in labor costs... after 90 minutes of labor total, including the "free" airbag recall. The guy was nice and even said they felt bad about having to charge me at all. Clearly. If you're going for a free recall, don't add other services. Make them complete the recall and go somewhere else for repairs or services or go at a separate time. They will find any way they can to upcharge on a recall because it is not worth their time. And as understandable as this is, since recalls don't make them any money and waste their time, that's what they have been asked to do and need to fulfill their end of the deal. My dad had a similar problem where an employee insisted that it was time for a new car and almost flat out refused to fix the recall. Luckily, my dad knew better. I was too nice and basically got charged to replace my airbags and find out my mirror was wrong. Moral of the story, separate your free recall trips from other service trips. I'm sure they do great work, but struggle with the whole recall thing. Next time I go to get a free recall, I won't be adding other services. read more

I went there on 1-7-2023 during the morning time. One of the service techs came up to me asked what I needed. I told him that the required maint. light is on. I also told him that I would like for my vehicle to be inspected which I shouldn't have to ask for because each time I go to the other Toyota dealership service techs when my required maint. light is on they check my vehicle out and let me know what is due to be serviced on my vehicle. This service tech never sends my vehicle to get inspected by the mechanic. My vehicle never leaves the bay where the customers drives in to see the tech; instead he tells me I need two tires prints me out a quote and tells me I'm not due for any services without getting my vehicle thoroughly inspected by the mechanic. There wasn't a lot of vehicles in the bay where the cars initially pull in to see the tech. If I ever come to this location again I he's there I will ask to see another tech. It almost comes across as if there's no money for this dealership to make the customer gets rushed along. This is the impression that this service tech gave me. At the end of the day this was poor customer service. read more

So very disappointed. I purchased a brand new Camry after relying on assurances that I would have a functioning GPS navigation screen as long as I had a smart phone. No mention was made of any particular version of Iphone needed. My GPS won't work. I've spent hours on the phone and after 2 months of receiving a run around from local and headquarters, I'm was told that Toyota and the Cobb County Toyota dealership would not provide any consideration or resolution. I have been a loyal Toyota customer for over 20 years but I cannot reconcile this total lack of concern for the client with any future dealings. read more

Really lousy place to do business. I'll never do so again. Salesman was plenty nice when I was buying, but when I had a problem right after I'd bought a Highlander, he said he'd be glad to help and would call me back with an answer. Never called. Also finance agents really push to get you to buy an extended warranty, promising that you can cancel within two months. But never mention that there's a $50 cancellation fee. There's more: have to wait about an hour for an oil change, every time. Service dept. doesn't make appointments. You're at their mercy. read more

Terrible place!! We have had two bad experiences with them. We should have known the service department would be bad because they jerked us around when we tried to buy our 2015 Prius there. They wanted to give us less than $2000 for our trade in and a high price on the Prius. So we went to another dealer down the road and got $5000 for our trade in and a lower price on the Prius. What a joke! As far as the service department, my wife had a flat tire while driving the Prius. We were still covered under Toyota's roadside assistance so she called them. The guy who came out was very prompt and courteous and changed to the spare tire, but he didn't have the equipment to fix the flat tire. He said the tire looked good and could not see any apparent damage. Said she should take it to the Toyota dealer to have the flat tire patched. She called ahead to schedule a time and they said they were not busy and just come on over. So she drove over to Cobb County Toyota to have it patched. This was during the middle of the day on a Tuesday, so the service department was not busy at all. She checked in the car and they said it would not take long so she went and waited in the customer lounge. 30 minutes go by and nothing. She finally goes up to ask about it and they don't know the status so they send someone to check on it. A few minutes later a guy comes out and tells her there is nothing they can do to fix the tire, it has been damaged in the side wall and they can't fix it. So she waits 30 plus minutes just to have them come out and say they can't fix it and she will need a new tire for $125 plus mounting, balance, disposal fees and tax. She calls me at work and I said BS because the guy who changed the tire said he could see no damage. The next day I took it to a tire dealer down the road and they said they could patch it no problem. $15 dollars and 15 minutes later the tire was patched and mounted back on the car. We will never go to Cobb County Toyota to buy or service a car again! They are total con artists and they all seem to walk around with an attitude, sales and service! We will go back to the dealer where we bought the car, in Marietta, GA. They are a little further away from us but well worth the travel to avoid the scammers at Cobb County Toyota. I feel as though the numerous changes in sales/leasing and service have deteriorated in the past few years, but I went back when my lease was up. I'm glad I did! Mo 't turned out to be the best. He was attentive to my wishes and needs and very polite and friendly. He was able to get me a good price. Once my experience with this company is over- NEVER again will I work or recommend them to anyone (nor, their sister company). Approximately 2 weeks ago, I went in there to purchase a used vehicle for my daughter with cash. Found her a car that came with a 60 day warranty. Test drove the car and showed no issues. She drove the car home which took approximately 30 minutes. The car then sat in the driveway that evening, the next morning she went out to run an errand and she couldn't get the car out of park and the check engine light came on..... we found a shift lock area and she was able to get the car out of park by pushing that button. She then immediately took it to the dealer and they told her to come back in the morning at 9 a.m. she did so- they sent the car to a Nissan dealer who sent IN WRITING to me what they found wrong with the car (approx 2500.00 worth of items that would need to be fixed)- I communicated this information to the sales guy we have been dealing with (Rob Warren- he's great by the way!) And he immediately went to his GM to explain the situation. I asked to return the car, obtain a refund and take my business elsewhere because I felt and still feel they were being deceitful and dishonest. Mr. Warren then responded back stating that his GM would not give a refund as it's not their policy (remind you the car was driven for 30 minutes tops! And they have had the car in their possession for over a week!) GM is named Jim Pyron- I find Mr. Pyron to be a dishonest businessman that does not operate his best morally or ethically and I found his answer of no refund to be unsatisfactory. Mr. Warren sympathized with my situation and advised Mr. Pyron had the final answer. So Mr. Warren stated for me to come back in to look for a trade as this was our only option, we did so.... we found a car, yet Cobb County Toyota wanted to reduce how much they were willing to take for the car we had just purchased from them that they have had in their possession. I advised them it was no deal. We were then told due to the fact we have in writing what needs to be fixed on the car we purchased they can't sell it and have to send to the auction. As it stands right now, Mr. Warren is still looking for a car for us and they still have my $$$$. So needless to say, they have my $$$$ and we still have NO car! Best words of advice- DO NOT deal or work with this company until they can find new management and until their management can learn some PR skills. Word of mouth runs very rampant and you can guarantee I will be and am informing all of my business associates of what I am currently going through with this company. Hopefully, the formal letter or review, the complaint to the BBB and the letter to our State AG's office along with the certified letter that I am sending to the owners residence will make a difference in how they operate. Kennesaw where this business operates and the local surrounding areas are small communities- word will get around quickly. Including, the Woodstock area that their sister company operates. I will update this review once this situation has been dealt with and resolved with the outcome. read more
