After leaving in disgust from the local Ford dealership, I was referred to All Pro Automotive. To be honest I was a bit hesitant taking my mint condition "1999 Mustang GT" there at first, as the car is very special to me and I have always been very protective of it. I was greeted by friendly people and when I told them that I suspected that I had bad deferential and possibly rear wheel bearings, the response was, we have to check it out for ourselves to determine what actually may be wrong. My first thought was here we go again, $99.99 to just look at it. However, I was pleasantly surprised when he said and there is no cost for an inspection. I took my car to them at the appointed time and yes, I was correct the deferential was bad and the wheel bearings were going bad. They did the repair for the quoted price and the car runs like the day I bought it. I was so pleased with them that I have since taken it back to them for "Transmission Fluid" change and "Coolant Flush". They were very competitive on price and again did a great job. I would not recommend taking vehicles here I took my truck here and it took them 2 months to fix when they emailed me said it was ready I was out of town told them I would pickup when I got back but when I got back I got sick and was hospitalized a month I was in contact with them letting them know so they knew my situation told I would get truck soon as I got out but was in for month and when I got out was very weak and couldn't work and doctors said wouldn't be able to work for several weeks that I had to build my strength back up so when I got out I contacted them and told them soon as I was able I would get my truck they didn't wait much longer I think it wasn't even few weeks then they turned my truck over to Ingram impound saying I abounded my truck granted you now this is almost same time frame they had my truck fixing it but I didn't complain about that I honestly think there in some kinda of deal with them so they can get more money cause the impound lot wants an extreme amount now I wouldn't recommend neither company cause they will take advantage of a situation whatever it may be to get more money and to kick you while your down for more money that's my opinion this is how they left my truck which they said was in good working and running order this is invoice from another mechanic which they says they left it in a mess read more

I purchased a used '08 Honda Odyssey from "Cook Automotive Group" (3114 Cherokee St NW # 205, Kennesaw, GA 30144) which is now closed PERMANENTLY for reasons unknown to me but they had "business relationship" with Jimmy apparently because they were a used card dealership and they would bring their cars they bought from auctions and other places to get work done. So I purchased a vehicle in December of 2019 that had a 30 day warranty, 2 days after I got the vehicle I got a blinking check engine light. True to his word, 1 of the 3 Co-Owners of the used car sales lot said he would take care of anything free of charge. So the code read piston misfire, bank 1 (piston #1) so they changed the coil pack and I assume the spark plug. I got my car back after they did the work and not even 2 weeks later, blinking check engine light again. We notified Cook Automotive and they took the car back to Jimmy and apparently they couldn't figure it out BUT also in that time frame the passenger rear strut went out and sounded like we were riding on bricks. All Pro "replaced the strut" and here I am February on 2021 and that same strut is going out but the other 3 are the same 3 on there from when I purchased the car, so my question was "how could it have been a new strut?" If the same one is going out before the other 3. Cook Automotive & All Pro may have had business issues so they could have been doing sub par work because of it. So after all this time the misfire is because oil is leaking into the spark plug cylinder because of a bad o-ring and nothing else, and they didn't know or didn't care. They may be good mechanics but they sure as hell dropped the ball on my car I just hope it wasn't because of the color of my skin because all money is the same color. read more

I was on my way to Arkansas from Virginia in a Ram 4500 diesel dual my, I had to stop in Marietta for 2 nights to do some work. On the way into town I developed a bad exhaust leak and had to ride with the windows down from Greenville SC because the fumes were so bad. The clamp had come loose on the back side of the turbo. Called 3 different companies in the area that did exhaust work, all sent me to competitors over the phone. The 4th who specializes in exhaust looked at it on their lift, then said they could not handle the job because they were not sure if the clamp was bad or where they would even get one if it was bad and sent me to All Pro. I told Faith my story and that I was passing through, she said they were backed up almost 2 weeks but she would check with Jimmy. Jimmy looked at it in the parking lot and diagnosed the "T" bolt in the clamp was broken & that he was pretty sure he had one in an old clamp, and said he would try to work it in between jobs. This was around 10am. Faith called the next day around noon to tell me it was ready to go. 2 hours labor and no parts! HIGHLY recommend!! Great people and very honest! I was very fortunate to come across a couple like this. We need more people like this in our world. read more

They did that, plus inspect My vehicle bumper to bumper, letting Me know that a tie-rod needed replacement soon (but they didn't throw Me any sales pitches about it, which is great). Their diagnosis was wrong. Now they say they did not give me a diagnosis. I wouldn't complain if that were true. I paid GMC $166 for labor and I paid $225 for the control module. Now I have to also pay GMC $166 for a diagnostic test because All Pro gave me the wrong diagnosis. I told GMC not to do the diagnostic test because it was done by All Pro. Now I know better. Never trust All Pro Automotive! Not only did they diagnose it wrong and point out the part that needs replacing when I asked what it was, now they deny ever diagnosing it and say it was beyond their ability to properly diagnose. Not many places would accept to repair on older cars. I have a 1955 Buick that needs axle and front end to be rebuilt. The axle was making a grinding noise and the front end was all loose. They did a wonderful job on rebuilt the axle and found that front end does not really need to be rebuilt. They adjusted and tightened everything up on the front end. They save me some money and taught me how to adjust it again on the front end if it happens. They were very nice and communicative with me. I would use them again in the future. Based on a personal recommend, I chose APA to do a power steering pump replacement for me. Sadly, my experience with them was not a pleasant one in the least. I share my situation with others not to say this will be your experience, but just to give you a heads up and encourage caution. Having worked in the customer service arena for several years, I have a good understanding of what excellent customer service should look like. Communication is key to great customer service. During my experience with using APA, I felt they were not very pro-active about contacting me and providing a status update on my repairs. About 9 times out of 10, I called them after they hadn't reached out long past time I'd expect them to. After they replaced my power steering pump, I began hearing a squeaking noise that progressively got worse over the next few months. They initially said it was just due to some power steering fluid they spilled on my serpentine belt (srsly?) and promised it would go away after cleaning it with Simple Green a few times. When this didn't stop the issue after about a week, I took my car back in and they replaced the serpentine belt (hesitantly), hoping that would take care of it. After about a day or two, the noise came back. After my next visit, they told me the belt tensioner and harmonic balancer needed replacing, and that they were the cause of the squeaking. I asked if it was my power steering pump, since that's what was changed prior to the noise, but they were adamant it was NOT. So I opted to replace the belt tensioner myself due to cost and deal with the harmonic balancer later. Even after replacing the belt tensioner, the noise persisted, and only grew worse over the next couple months. I ended up taking it in to get a second opinion by another mechanic who informed me the power steering pump was faulty and causing the noise. *sigh* When I called APA and gave them this information, they did not sound pleased at all and told me they could replace it under warranty (along with my serpentine belt), but that it was **the last thing they'd do for my car.** because they felt I was just accusing them of doing a bad job. How is this good customer service?! After I took it in, and called them the next day, they said the *water pump* needed replacing because it was leaking antifreeze on the belt. When I asked what it would cost, their response was: "I wouldn't be interested in doing that." *sigh* So yes, I had to take my car back home and replace the water pump before they would fix the power steering pump and belt. I work full time and because they close at 6pm and don't work weekends, I always had to have a friend or family member help take my car in, so this was very frustrating and time consuming. By the end of it, I asked their opinion again on what the cause of the squeaking was, and they said it was the harmonic balancer and........my alternator clutch pulley had seized. "It's what we've said all along." #facepalm The good news is, that after a couple weeks of driving with a new power steering pump, I haven't heard one squeak. Problem solved. Are there other issues with my car? Sure. But I don't trust their diagnostic skills. That, or they were attempting to up-sell me. Who knows? read more

I took my classic car to Clint Turner, explained to him the situation and had him look at the car. He determined/confirmed it needed an engine rebuild, so we talked about the best option and he cut me a great deal on the rebuild. Actually we determined to put a new rebuilt engine he was saving for one of his cars into mine. The price and option sounded great, so I gave the go ahead. It took over 4 months for me to finally get the car back, but once I did the car ran fantastic and I was happy with it. Literally 1000 miles later, an internal part of the new engine broke, and took out all of the internals. The engine had to be rebuilt, again. I called Clint Turner, who did that work, and explained the situation, and he told me it was a worn out part and that basically it wasn't his fault. After going back and forth, it was determined that I would have to replace all the damaged parts, which I already paid for in the first rebuild, (about $500-$600), and he would do the labor for free. I wasn't happy with this arrangement, but I accepted just to get the car back. It took over 7 months of me going by there once a week for him to finally get around it. In those 7 months, the new paint job on the car was scratched and damaged, the windows were left with a slight crack in them and rain and water leaked into the car causing the brand new interior and top and carpet to mildew, and the floorboards to start rusting. When I finally was able to pick the car up, the car ran terribly (wouldn't go past 35mph) and would drink a whole tank of gas in less than 30 miles. This was about a year ago, and I am still experiencing costly repairs thanks to Clint Turner. In fact, I've have to rework almost everything he did, and now, I just found out he didn't properly set the CAM timing, so this will be another at least $300. I could have bought a new engine twice in what Clint has cost me. Clint and his staff are nice people, but do not take your car there. This isn't an attack on the quality of people there, but it does illustrate the caliber of work they do. In the first year I owned this car, Clint had it more than I did. read more

We took my daughter's 2003 Subaru here on a recommendation from Kaufman Tires to replace a fuel sensor. We walked in and at first, Jimmy said that it would be several days before he could get to it as they were obviosly swamped with business. When I said that she was leaving to go back to school, he went to the car and double checked that the fuel sensor was indeed the issue, then agreed to get it done by the next day and he delivered on his promise. Don't be in a rush to get your stuff done. I took a differential + L & R axle in for a rebuild. I chased parts down for a week. Checked on their progress the next week -- no luck. The next week the guy from the service counter, Clint, went on vacation. He was the one saying he'd stay late or come in on Saturday to get the job done. I finally got it back the next Thursday (almost a month since my truck went up on blocks in my driveway). Course, I had to wait 3/4 hour while some "mechanic" finished it up even though 'ol Clint said he'd stay late again to "get it done". If he'd just told me it'd be 3 or 4 weeks (or more) before I'd see it, I'd have gone somewhere else. On the flip side, his final price seemed reasonable. This was my first dealing with these people and hopefully my last. read more
