I came across a neighborhood bar that offers a large selection of draft beers and has easy parking. It's located in a non-descriptive strip cenre. I had just finished shopping for vinyl a couple of doors down and decided to stop in for a beer. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was prompt. Overall, it was a pleasant experience in this casual bar setting.

Phenomenal beer/mead selection. Service is attentive and responsive. Bartender is incredibly knowledgeable on all his products. Ambiance is laid back yet has an amazing decor. Definitely will come back.

Cobble & Spoke is a bar hidden on a strip center that I would consider the epitome of "a hidden gem." While they may be small this place packs a lot of personality. I have had this gem saved on my list of places to visit but never had the chance to go. I luckily got the opportunity to go after having some fun at indigo moon. What a great way to end the day. This bar not only has beer, but they also serve mead! Great IPAs and ciders too... you can't go wrong. A great cozy place to come after work for a few with coworkers if you work nearby. Please note that they do not serve food and only serve small snacks. Kind of a let down but still had a great time. They have some fun games too and a little back outdoor sitting area. Definitely will be back soon!

Great bar, the beers are always rotating, but I had the unfortunate luck of entering this venue when Kyle was working. Horrible attitude, threw the remote for the TV at us, insulted me, and was simply a jerk. Nothing will change, but Kyle is acting like a POS. Kyle claimed to have seen me 5 times, and I *may* have seen him here once last year, and forgot his name so I asked again. Sorry for forgetting your name since last year - you didn't remember mine either. Kyle is just playing garbage music and FaceTiming somebody. He asked "what f@@@@ng sport is that?" when we asked if the channel could be turned. I will only come back here if Zach is working. I wish I owned this place so I could fire this joker named Kyle. Also noticed Kyle's short temper with other patrons. I come to a bar to feel welcomed and to have a friendly atmosphere. I feel like an intruder in this place. It's too bad. Houston has plenty of other places just as good as C&S. Just a horrendous experience.

Excellent beer bar. The selection of Texas beers is incomparable. The variety is unparraled. Just a cool spot to sit and chill, maybe enjoy the back porch on a cool night like this. An added bonus is the immaculate bathroom for a pub. Clean and pleasant smelling, you don't regret breaking the seal. I love this venue

I came here on a lazy Sunday afternoon and it was kinda of slow when I got there. I wasn't expecting a big scene, so I was fine with that. The location almost seems in no-man's land, or maybe its just more my novice Houston geography at work. At any rate it place has some nice chill charm and anyone would be super-impressed by the beer selection. You will find dozens of beers from near and far. They do sell some packaged snacks but I'm sure they have food trucks on some days. I will come back one evening and check it out again.

I had such a great afternoon on the patio at Cobble & Spoke. The weather was gorgeous and perfect for sitting outside. Kyle was really helpful with recommending beers he thought I would enjoy. The place was clean and inviting. If I lived in town I would undoubtedly be a regular.

Came here on a Friday evening around 10. The atom sphere was very low key and the bartender was very helpful. I've been wanting to visit this place for awhile, and I am so glad I got around to it. I'm usually a wine drinker, but this bar had such a great selection of sours that I drank beer instead. One drink I highly recommend is the Tasty AF peanut butter beer. It tastes like liquid Reese's Coco Puffs. I also had a pink sour beer that was delicious, but I cannot remember the name of it. Although I didn't get a chance to explore the board games, upon glancing I saw that they had numerous options. Can't wait to return!

Great craft beet selection, cozy atmosphere, friendly bartender. My first time here and I'm impressed inner loop feel for those of us who do not live inside the loop. Highly recommend the 'holler come and thank it' if you are an IPA fan like myself. Bartenders are glad to let you sample damn near everything! read more

Vibes were immaculate. They have a huge menu and you can ask for tasters. Inside is beautiful with ample seating and board games to play and there's an outdoor patio area in the back. Restrooms are clean and stocked with feminine hygiene products, just overall great place to be. read more

Not sure how to describe Cobble & Spoke but in a great way. It would be the bar that I would love to open if I would open bar. It's a little bit of man-cave crossed with your local wine bar with the comfort of your living room dressed as a bar with a great local beer selection and a good enough variety of wine to keep you girlfriend/wife happy. In short, we love this place. Stop in and as Kyle about the reproductive habits of under sea creatures. That's always a conversation starter. read more

A new beer and wine bar in the Spring Branch area. Tucked back in a little strip center. There is an L shaped bar with plenty of seats. A few communal high top wood tables, a few low tops as well. A few TVs, some with the wine and beer selection, and a few for sports. Though they are unobtrusive. A very relaxed spot, and the owners/bartenders are great. Probably 30-40 taps, with plenty of variety. I found there to be a handful of gimmicky beers (Saloon Door Tasty AF, etc) though that is just my opinion. There is plenty to choose for everyone. Including Lone Pint Yellow Rose, Oasis Meta Modern, even some Jester King. They will fill growlers and can do crowlers to go as well. An unpretentious and enjoyable spot to hangout. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular. read more

Great find in an unassuming Spring Branch strip mall. Awesome selection of all local Texas craft brews in a minimalist designed space with electronic real-time data on keg levels. I think they have wine too, didn't pay much attention outside of the beer menu. read more

This place is what Spring Branch has needed for years! My wife and I were so excited to watch their progress building and their growth now! We love coming here! It's a great place for a casual drink or 2. We like to play games and relax here. Great service and staff! Also their selection of craft beer, wine, cider and more is awesome! Loved this place. Finally found a true craft beer bar. The selection was outstanding. So glad we found this place. Someone posted it on the memorial page and we decided to try it out. They didn't disappoint! All brews are from Texas too. They have happy hour and a back patio. Best drink was a "mead" called Earl Grey. Must try, it's sweet and delicious. We will be back read more

My date and I came here on a Friday night, very cool atmosphere, in a unsuspecting little spot in a strip mall. It's chill but classy. The staff members were very knowledgeable and cool but not over the top. We had a great time. I'd love to bring a couple friends here to have a chill night out without the stress of driving downtown. We enjoyed our drinks and time here for sure. I'm impressed and we will definitely be back. read more

We live nearby, and we're so glad to finally have a local pub! Huge selection of meads and beers, great music that isn't deafening, and the very good company of a gentleman bartender. Games are kept in the cabinets, and kids are ok until 9 p.m., I think. Lovely addition to the neighborhood. read more

Loved this little hidden gem! My husband and I both love craft beer and this little place is so close to home. We have been there twice and each time the bar tender has been great and the list of available drinks is awesome. I love how they can add different ones to their menu. Walking in, Cobble and Spoke felt inviting to us. We can choose to sit at the bar, there's a long table and evening a little sitting area with couches. Very chill, relaxing place to come and enjoy an afternoon drink. They have TVs playing, and the atmosphere feels great. Other customers there have been nice, some social some more to them selves and that's completely fine. They have a pretty cool back patio area! Loved the tables, they even had Bug spray and citron candles at the tables. I didn't have any of the food, but what I can say is that it smelled and looked delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside for a bit before retreating back indoors. They have board games on shelves and the place it's self is so clean. The women's bathroom amazed me. Thank you Cobble and Spoke, so well put together! Loved the 4th Tap Supernaut stout and thanks to the bar tender, he recommended a Blonde Stout that was so good. Both times we went were on Wednesday afternoon. Definitely a spot we will return to. read more

I really am impressed with this place. Beer selection is amazing and the bar dude is a rock star. He asked me what beers I liked and if they didn't serve it, he suggested something similar or something that exceeded my expectations. Only drank three beers during this visit, but I will definitely be back to try other suggestions. Motorsports on TV is a definite plus for me. read more

Located in a plaza so has own parking lot but great rotating craft beer selection.. food truck offered personal but generous size pizzas which were not bad. Lots of space in the back and has a coffee shop type feel to it. They get 5 stars for their great and diverse selection of craft beers and friendly bartender service. read more

I went for a glass of wine with a friend last night and was very impressed, especially when I found out they've only been open for about a week! Their extensive tap list is made up of actual craft beers from Texas. The wine list is short but still a good blend of varietals, also all from Texas. The ambiance was cool- casual but still nice. Kyle and Jen were both super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I would feel comfortable going with a group of friends after a game, on a date night, or stopping in for a drink by myself after work. I love all the candles and they have Hungry, Hungry Hippos so I'd consider them a solid new favorite! read more

Love this place! Super unique tap list boasting 40 Texas crafts! I'd like to think of myself as "in the know" on beer, but Kyle knows it all! Kyle took me on a little taste sample one night and introduced me to so many new beers! My friend who is gluten free was still able to enjoy wines and meads. There is something for everyone here...... only wish someone would do something like this out here in cypress. read more

We have an ever-changing menu of true craft beer from small, independent local breweries. With 40 taps, our selection focuses on the finest brews that Houston & the surrounding area has to offer. For those who prefer something other than beer we also carry a variety of unique ciders as well as hand selected, small batch wines produced right here in the great state of Texas. In addition to our taps we have an assortment of bottles & cans to choose from- all 100% true craft of course! The best part about our selections is that not only can they be enjoyed in our relaxing comfortable atmosphere, they are all available to purchase for at home imbibing as well. It's a cute spot, but nothing that I haven't seen before and not enough pizazz to justify the cost.

Now Loose Cannon is still bring the crowd out, so the parking will be tight here on the weekend. As a disable person, I can say this place is not disable person friendly. The walk way to the restroom in the back is crowded with people and table and chairs it is difficult to get around, speaking of restroom, is not wheelchair friendly, there are no bathroom safety bars and the space between the toilet and the sink is small and tight. So if you have mobility issue, do not come here as it will be a challenge for you to have a good time. I love that they have THC drinks here so I try the Coconut one, I forgot the name, it was very tasty and you can feel the effect of the THC. I love they gave you free popcorn here for snacks.

It was a good pour, not too little or too much and the taste was deep, well balanced and smooth. Since the event took place around dinner time I also had a Fig and Speck flatbread. The fig, prosciutto and other toppings complimented each other well. The flatbread dough itself was ok but could've benefited from a little more flavor such as some garlic, butter and herbs. I also would've liked it a bit thinner so I could taste less of the bread and more of those delicious toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good and I ate all of it but these are small suggestions I'd recommend to bring it to perfection. I could see parking and seating being tricky. I was fortunate to snag a parking spot on the side of the building near the auto place and once inside I found a seat at a table with a lovely couple, another couple joined us soon after. Many of the guests who arrived later stood at first and then halfway through the event, made their way to the floor where they sat cross legged. All in all, The Library was a nice establishment and although a little out of my way, I'd return for another event or if I were in the area again.

I told him I had just spoken to someone yesterday, and he "you have wrong information, there's no way we can do reservations with this many people - you probably called the corporate office (it's the number listed on their website so that made no sense)" and was very dismissive of me and not apologetic whatsoever. It's totally understandable that reservations wouldn't be possible on a World Cup day. Seems like the staff are not all on the same page, or I was misled to just get my group into the bar (which has happened at other bars during the tournament so it's not unheard of). Had to take my three nieces elsewhere at the last minute and don't imagine I'll be returning after that experience.

My friend's band, Zenjii, had a live performance there. A power outage befell the establishment (thanks for nothing, Centerpoint!) so the show was switched from inside to the patio. I'll say that the patio is a bit on the gritty side but has a really cool, summertime-in-the-backyard kind of vibe. I was drawn to the numerous street signs and license plates that were strewn throughout. Thankfully, the weather was cooperative enough. I did have a chance to check the interior. While virtually pitch black, I was able to see some pinball machines and a pool table. On a normal day, the place is likely buzzing. If the patio presented itself as a place for tailgates and barbecues then the inside was a badass combination of dive bar, honky tonk, and punk rock club. And because I don't drink alcohol, I settled on a Mexican Coke, which was a decent $3.25. When I took my first sip, I was taken back to the summers of my youth when I went home to the Philippines after the school year. The opening of the bottle left a bit of a weird taste in my mouth so I decided to pour the rest in a complimentary plastic cup. And Coke - no matter what flavor it is - tastes better in a plastic cup, but that's a different story for another day. As for the staff, everyone from Becca to Jeremy is pretty cool. Even those who served me the Coke were down-to-Earth. They didn't ask me for ID. *Laughs* But seriously, Eighteen Ten Ojeman is a great place to pull up to in Spring Branch after you have some legit Korean BBQ, which the area is known for.

I haven't ordered food yet but everyone I know who's eaten here has said that it's above and beyond their expectations. If you're looking for a place in Spring Branch to enjoy a beer and have a casual chat with friends, Lazy Oaks will be right on target.

I might have just found one of my new favorite restaurants in Houston. What a great experience!…read more Recently, a good friend dined here and immediately called me to tell me how great it was. She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston.
