the biggest rip off and service from young rude kid
    Maria V.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]the young kid who is rude, does not greet you, when I asked about the coupon, did not answer and when he does decide to VERY Rude[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called to speak to manager who was not able to come to phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This Coupon is not for FREE car wash

Confession: I don't wash my Jeep regularly....cause it's a Jeep....it camps, has rock chipped windows, a number of scars from exploring, a stain or two here and there from activities... it's always dirty. It's not a "highway princess" and I'm not a soccer mom....or I mean dad? Are there "soccer dads"? Is that a thing? Either way, not this guy. But when the dirt and grime is washed away and it sparkles, it just reminds me....i like it dirty :) First time coming to Cobblestone. Service was great from beginning to end. They didn't push their subscriptions, and detailing services on me, they just asked. I declined once and they moved on (probably not the best sales tactic, but there's no way I'd buy what they had so great time management). On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll come back next year.

Customer smoking right next to the cars.

While I continue to come to Cobblestone for convenience and fair membership prices, I am continuously disappointed every time I come to this particular location. On 3 separate occasions I've seen people smoking cigarettes in the lounge chairs near the car pickup area. Not only is this extremely inconsiderate for the other customers that would like to sit outside in the chairs and wait, but there are open car doors directly next to this area. The first time I saw smoking, my car happened to be right there and smelled like cigarettes when I got in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did reach out to an employee and they apologized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've now seen smoking occur there two other times, including my current visit!! Gross!!! That should be a non smoking area. Finally, I am constantly having to ask them to rewipe down my front bumper and sides with dead bugs, mud, debris, etc that's stuck and needs more man power to clean than the machines. Aside from using the vacuum to clean the floors, they don't wipe down any of the inside either. I have to go home and get a cloth to clean dust and such from the cup holders, console, door handles, seats, etc. I realize this isn't a car detailing and I don't expect perfection, but a basic wipe down can't be that hard. Absolutely would not recommend commend this location.

I get my tires rotated when I get the oil and filter change, does Cobblestone do rotation?

After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. Some of the BEST $ I ever spent! I ALWAYS suggest pre-purchase inspection of ANY used car, irrespective of ANY dealership saying "we thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles."

This has to be the most incompetent, unprofessional mechanic shop in Arizona. I brought my car in…read morefor a simple front engine mound, front struts and asked if they can check the oil level because I just had my oil changed last month and it's saying the level is low. This should've been a one day job after they got the parts but they had my car from 6/22 - 7/1 due to their complete incompetence. The day the job should've been done I started sensing they messed something up because I got a text message at 1030 stating the job was done and they were wrapping up. Cool, I'll be expecting a call in an hour or so. 1:40 comes around, no phone call so I call them. Give me some BS about they need the alignment and they only have one lift and they've been booked all day. Call back at 4:40, they tell me they are waiting for someone to test drive it. Call back at 5:40, close to closing and I'm told it's ready. Come in as I'm paying, over $2k mind you, Bryan asks if I'm aware of the light that's on. I tell him no because no one has called me about anything. I assume he meant the low oil level light that was on and it was no big deal. Walk out to my car and my check engine, engine malfunction, low oil pressure, red oil can and my console screen telling me to pull over immediately is all lit up. I go get Bryan, he comes out and looks. He says it's not a big deal and that it's safe to drive. A mechanic.....is saying it's safe to drive with all those warning lights on. I ask him if it's safe to drive and unbeknownst to him I'm recording this entire conversation on Facebook voice messenger and when he says that the shop will be liable for anything that happens if I drive off I figure okay, I'll drive it home and bring it back in the morning after I work. As I'm leaving trying to turn left on baseline I almost get tboned by a jeep because my car will not accelerate. Take it back, livid, and leave it with them because what choice do I have? Days go by and we have to practically beg them to keep us informed. I can't work without my car and because of them I'm out over $2000 in lost wages. Throughout this they try and tell me it's my fault because I wasn't keeping up on oil changes and that's causing issues. I have receipts for every oil change I've gotten and the miles put on the car between them, don't tell me I'm not keeping up on my oil changes. After a week and clearly everyone and their mother that works at this joke of a shop they found the problem: the incompetent moron who worked on my car connected the wire harness wrong and it was causing my car to go into limp mode and light up everything on my dash. Over a week it took them to figure this one out. They probably could've opened up ChatGPT, put the issues in and gotten a result faster. I'm not a mechanic but I feel like if a car was working fine when it was brought in and after we worked on it it was quite literally undriveable I would triple check every. Single. Thing. I did to said car. I would keep the customer informed multiple times a day on what was going on instead of making them feel like they were completely forgotten about. Clearly these guys didn't care enough to do so. Don't EVER take your car here, they will screw up your car and not even care enough that you are out of work and costing you your livelihood. 10 days my car was in that shop. 10 days, for something that should've taken one and that's being generous, all because of their complete incompetence. Side note: not all Christian brothers are trash, my sister took hers to the one in San Tan Valley and they were amazing. This one is just horrific and they will be getting reported to the BBB and the AG. I am honestly astounded at how awful this place is.

What really stands out is that they never pressure me into buying additional services. In fact, they've recommended I go elsewhere when it made more sense for me. They suggested I get a free tire rotation at Discount Tire instead of paying for one there, and they also recommended I have my mechanic replace a belt rather than having them do it--even though they offer both of those services. That honesty goes a long way. On top of the excellent service, the customer experience is outstanding. In the Arizona heat, they offered me a cold bottle of water and gave me the option to wait in their air-conditioned lobby instead of staying in my car while it was turned off. We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. To be honest, I was expecting the oil change to be $50 as I see flyers for around that price - but I rolled out of there with a $111 bill and a bit of shock. And that was with a coupon. Just for comparison last time I was at dealership I paid $154 for oil, filter, wipers, cabin filter, engine filter. When I got there 1 bay was available so I was guided in. The guy guiding me in was not the best and was obviously frustrated with me. I'll be that guy - I blame him. Throughout my life I've pulled campers and trailers and drove big vehicles in and out of the military. I am very good at maneuvering vehicles - but if you spotter doesn't know wtf they are doing and are giving bad/wrong hand-signals then you're going to be driving afoul. The bad part is that if they guide you wrong enough you'll drive into the pit. So either learn how to properly guide or offer to drive the car into the stall for the customer. Once you're in the stall they ask you what you want. At least for me, and maybe I'm going deaf, I could not properly hear what they were asking/selling. I had to have them repeat nearly everything. It may be beneficial for them to get the screen up close and talk to you more personally than to stand 5-10ft away and ask what services you want. As for the service itself, it was pretty good. It was a flurry of young folk flying around the car doing various tasks. Lots of calling when tasks are done and kind of felt like I was in a F1 pit stop. You sit in the car and wait, so no waiting room for you to chill in. The total time in the stall was maybe 15mins? Overall, service was good but... I wanted them to do a tire rotation, and they couldn't because they said their lifts weren't suitable for a full-size bronco. That seems to be a miss on Valvoline's part, but other than that, I definitely would rate this location high on Customer Service and speed.
