Fried whole belly class Fries & slaw

Coming back to my home state of Massachusetts from Pennsylvania for a much needed sea and sand vacation Our first priority was food, real, by the ocean... seafood ! Cobies, did not disappoint! I had a fried scallop plate and he had the fried whole belly clam plate. Order at the window and get a buzzer when plates were ready. Outdoor seating area was very decorated with the Cape Cod vibe. Also invites you to have an iceceam after dinner, if you can handle all that food! There is handicap parking, and a ramp to the eating area. It is pricey, market price pending, but very delicious! Seasonal, so the last day would be the weekend after Labor day.

Loved this place! I spent my day biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail and used Cobie's as my lunch stopping point. What a great choice! There were plenty of other bikers there (as well as locals and vacationers), so I figured it must be a good spot. It's one of those classic counter style seafood spots, with plenty of outdoor seating. Even with the long line, my food was ready pretty quickly. The restaurant had an ice cream counter, but I just stuck to the seafood. I went with half fried shrimp and half fried clam strips with fries. Lots of fried food! I preferred the shrimp over the clam strips because I found them to be a bit too breaded, but that's common. I would for sure come back again. Only thing that could have been better would have been if the restaurant was on the water!

Pictures look better than what it actually was. We stopped at Cobie's on our first night of vacation hoping for some fresh seafood. I had the cold lobster roll and was really disappointed. The lobster meat was mushy, didn't have much taste and was not fresh. It was borderline questionable to eat. I also got a bowl of the lobster bisque. Something was off about it and it almost had a chemical taste. I couldn't finish the bowl. My wife opted to not get seafood and went with the veggie burger. She said it wasn't horrible, but tasted like a frozen pre-made store burger. We got the corn salad side and it was really good and tasted fresh. We had ice cream for dessert and it was really good.

Came here for dinner and was disappointed. We ordered the salmon burger which didn't taste great, is it frozen?!? My haha 'em ordered the cold lobster roll and the lobster was a very strange texture and consistent, as if it was past its prime. We ordered grilled fish entree for our son which was cod and was good. Pros- very nice staff, plenty of outdoor seating, we didn't have to wait long to order, and the food came out quickly. We then ordered ice cream which was good -- separate window and cash only.

Heard about this place from a friend who lives in the area, so we decided to stop by and have lunch. Food was pretty good, service at the window was excellent, friendly and very accommodating with our questions. While there are no 2 piece combos listed on the menu, you could actually order what you would like as a combination plate. My wife got the shrimps and scallops with a baked potato and I the whole belly clams with scallops and fries. I asked for a side of onion rings but there was some confusion and they just added some to my wife's plate. Either way prices were reasonable, outdoor tables were clean, restrooms were clean as well.

The big phat "regular" chocolate vanilla swirl for $4.50 cash only

Creamy dreamy ice cream. Satisfying chocolate and vanilla swirl. The regular size was a rather phat portion and could have been cut in half to feed two people. Cash only business! There's secret and ample parking in the rear. One of the grossest trashcans I've ever seen in my life is available for your use if you dare touch it. Sometimes I think back to my trip to Italy and how small and cheap the servings of ice cream were. I wish this place would adopt a $1.50 mini soft serve cone option.

One hot and one normal lobster roll!

Amazing food for great prices! We stopped by around 3pm on a Monday and there were a good deal of people there. We ordered the regular lobster roll (with mayo) for $18.95 with a piece of lettuce and the hot lobster roll with butter for $19.95, all on a toasted bun. Each came with a tiny bag of cape cod chips. Each bite had enough lobster pieces and was delicious. Seating - all the seating is outdoor picnic tables. Some are covered, either by a roof or umbrella and there are some in the sun. Parking - there is a lot of parking here, some up front and then some in the back.

Just ordered via phone my early in summer whole belly clams. Cobie's had great specials today, including swordfish. But it was June 2022 clam night for me on my own deck. Very good. This is a classic clam shack. Everything is expensive this summer but Cobie's prices are better than some others. Plus service with many smiles. Thanks!

You get a "hat" full of fries and the biggest, juiciest lobster roll you can imagine at Cobies. It's "THAT place.

When I come back to the CAPE the first restaurant I go to is SUNBIRD because they always have new twists and local ingredients for old FAVORITES. There are always some new faces at the front counters but each year they are younger and sweeter, more intelligent, and well informed about the ingredients of each menu item. The kitchen is attentive to every little nuance making foods healthy but sumptuous and tasteful. I was starved when I arrived on a redeye from LA and I ordered the Kimchi breakfast tacos and the quinoa porridge. The Kimchi spiced up the corn tortillas, egg and cheese with savory and tangy fermented cabbage. The porridge was "heartwarming" quinoa steamed in coconut milk and topped with berries, dried apricots. If you want to save time you can call in your order or book on-line. EATING WITH YOUR FAMILY? SUNBIRD will prove "yummy" and "healthy !!!!! I KEEP COMING BACK BECAUSE ITS GOOD FOR ME!

Came here for dinner on Wednesday night with a party of 7 (some of which are very picky)…read more The ambiance was nice, busy, lively conversations and big screen tvs throughout restaurant. We were able to make a reservation a few hours before we got there and were seated right away. Our table ordered a variety of dishes; for apps we had calamari and chicken wings (crispy and with a delish garlic/parmesan/cilantro sauce) that we also dipped our table bread in. For entrees, we had the star of the show, the mocajete dish, steak tips, chicken caprese dish, chicken parm dishes, scallops w/pasta and salmon and risotto dishes. All were delicious and devoured. The service was good and tap water taste a little different, not sure if that's a Cape Cod thing. The entrees did seem to take a little long to come out and not all at the same time. All in all, everyone was happy with their dish. Highly recommend this place.

I did takeout here when it was still the pandemic days. The lobster and clams linguine was generously portioned with a full lobster, lots of clams, and an abundance of linguini. The fisherman's stew was chock full of fish and other seafood, with a flavorful and briny broth. I came here for in-person dining recently and it seemed like the portions were smaller than before I suppose it's shrinkflation but not the most pleasant. The shrimp scampi was fine but nothing to write home about. I think the best part was the pasta, which was homemade. The seafood bowl special had scallops on the half-shell but they were definitely bay scallops, which was disappointing. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is not a bad choice but if you're here on vacay, you can (and should) find something better.
