If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!! 5 stars for the boba tea and 5 star for the omakase. Cobra is both simultaneously the best boba tea and the best omakase in NJ. Nikki's boba drinks are some of the most innovative and tasty drinks I've ever had. I recommend any drink with Ube or Matcha or both in it. The omakase was a hidden surprise to discover. It's $95 for 12 pieces or $130 for 18, go with the 18! Rudy serves an omakase that rivals many NYC restaurants. It's great to have a local option and not need to drive to Manhattan or Fort Lee for top quality sushi.

I love bubble tea but it's the omakase that drew me here. I was able to make a reservation the week of, Nikki manages the phones and is wonderful. We were greeted by Rudy the chef. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. We loved getting to know him throughout the experience. Every single course that came out was a hit. My favorites were the ones that would just melt in your mouth from how perfectly they were prepared. The flavors were incredible. I love the little bit of zesty-ness he brings to his dishes as well. Loved it so much, I already made my next reservations. This is a great hole in the wall gem you should check out.

We originally thought the Korean place reopened until we saw the new awning with Cobra tea. We love bubble tea so we figured we would swing by for a treat. Staff was friendly and happy to see us. Space itself is reasonable with a few chairs and tables. Parking is the same back parking shared with SoHo nails. It is a welcomed addition to the area, the menu looks expansive but we only tried two different bubble teas: Young coconut bubble tea slush: 5/5 Not too sweet, refreshing and interesting how they put the boba on top with crispy coconut which was an lovely add on Mango slush bubble tea 4/5 Seemed to have real mango puree maybe a bit on the sweeter side after tasting the coconut but still solid option and delicious I would try the affogato next time maybe. The one man offered a sample coconut jelly type of dessert so I brought that home and tried it later. Really reminiscing of some old school Cantonese dessert you don't find around unless you head to Chinatown.

What a surprise - went to Cobra for omakase on New Year's and felt pampered and enlightened. Rudy was super-friendly and so talented and meticulous in creating new sushi combinations. It's very intimate about 8 per seating. The bubble tea was delicious.

Love this place. Love their ube boba tea. Friendly owners and always welcoming!! She uses real ube in the tea. So good. The location is cozy and quiet. Love it!!

All I can say is, Wow. An omakase experience in a bubble tea shop in W Caldwell? For $79? Yes please. If you are a true sushi lover and appreciate quality, do yourself a favor and make a reservation for dinner. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to return and will be frequent diners at this local spot. The owners are also super friendly and nice.

Hidden away in a bobo tea shop, is an amazing sushi chef. Classically trained, Chef Rudy, served up an amazing sushi omakase. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely not your average sushi restaurant. Barrister and pastry chef Nikki serves up some amazing bobo tea and delicious desserts. What a welcome addition to the area. Cannot wait to visit again. Know that you need to call for a omakase reservation, as there are 6 seats up at the counter. Enjoy!

Best omakase in North Jersey. Also the most worth it for $79. The service is incredible with more than you expect. Saves a trip to New York City. The fish is also extremely fresh and tops most places in the city with its quality. 110% recommend! The Boba is also delicious, with fun and creative combinations! My son loved it!

I went with the 12 piece Omakase without Eel and enjoyed every piece (no soy sauce or wasabi, just chefs choice). My husband loved the Umai Big Special roll. Service was great. No rushing like many NJ restaurants and very helpful servers. Our high top table was right next to the sushi bar so we could see and hear what was going on. Next visit I definitely want to be at the bar. The restaurant is small and intimate. Definitely lots of "regulars" with relationship with the owner/chef. He was very friendly to us from afar. I would love to be a regular, it's just too pricey for my weekly budget but definitely worth every penny. If you eat sushi in NJ you've got to try it. Plus there's a great video about the restaurant and owner I found online.

The place is a simpler local eatery, so decor wasn't exactly a designed by some of the best New York interior decorators, but it was pleasant and very calm. The food is a fusion of various Asian cuisines but it is picked very well and cooked to perfection. Kids loved the Baos and Ramen which is probably one of the best indicators of the quality. From what I can tell it is family owned and run, so service may be a little slower than most similar places but it is definitely attentive and friendlier then most.

We shared some small plates and tried to get a good feel for the menu. Higher end vibe with some cool fusion elements to the options available - it's clear ingredients are high quality and presentation is very important to them. Even the drinks have fun little lights in them! Service was very kind and attentive but also lets you take your time - which is lovely! We had reservations which I don't think was necessary on a weeknight, but would recommend it for weekends. They mark your reserved table with a cute sign! Overall prices were a bit high for the portions but I understand it's likely for quality. Be prepared to spend if you're hungry!
