    Thai Milk Tea Large
    Angela L.

Service here was great I was greeted upon arrival and my order was taken instantly. They stated it would take 10 minutes for the food to be ready and it was. I got two different types of sushi rolls and they were okay. I didn't think they were anything too spectacular. They weren't bad tasting I would def go back to try some other rolls. They are def filling. The Thai tea was not great ... I've had way better. Ambiance seems like a cute spot to come for lunch .

Atmosphere: 5 I love how open the restaurant is. There's plenty of seating available, but it was quite empty despite it being a Sunday afternoon when we went. Ordering through the touch order screen is easy. Not all the items on the menu has a photo though. Not that each item needed it, but from a user and design POV, it's inconsistent. Portion: 4 The portion is pretty standard, and the price is pretty on par with what I see in other restaurants. Specifically, I'm talking about the size of the drinks. In terms of ingredient portion, the takoyaki has very small pieces of octopus in it compared to the actual size of the takoyaki ball. At first, I thought there wasn't even any in it! For a pack of 6, it was pretty expensive for flavored dough with a tiny octopus. The size of the tapioca is tiny! The texture is also a bit hard so maybe it's a little undercooked. Flavors: 2 Everything about their food is sweet. I ordered my drinks with 30% sugar and it tastes like it was the regular level of sugar. They were super sweet. The crab soup was more sweet than salty. It was also very milky. I felt like I was drinking flavored milk rather than crab soup. Not much crab/seafood flavor either so I'm not sure what I'm paying for. I think that if you're ordering drinks, be sure to order it at 0% sugar. I am not sure that I'd go there again. My husband and I were in town and wanted to grab some drinks and snacks to have at home. After eating their food, my stomach feels heavy. Probably because of all the milk and sugar in their food. For having spent nearly $60, we were pretty disappointed with everything. If you're a fan of super sweet food, maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise, I'd advise the chefs to go 75% lighter with all the sugar. The staff was nice and laid back though.

So I was at the counter I wanted to emphasize that I wanted to make sure my taro milk tea had no ice as I specified on my order over the phone. The lady behind the counter then proceeded to tell me that I had order light ice in my drink and no ice in the other drink I had ordered.. (basically my ice requests swapped) it was important to me that it had no ice so I requested it be redone. Not only was my request denied, but I was also reiterated that my order was wrong only to find out mid drive after looking at my sticker on my drinks that my order has been exactly how requested. This is poor Customer Service, and a lack of attention to order executions.

I think this is a nice little place. The exterior definitely has an old fashioned exterior but inside is clean and spacious. They had up seasonal decorations, which I appreciated. I got food to go which came in a reusable branded bag which I will reuse. I got the hibachi steak and online it asks temperature, I put medium rare, and it was so well done it was almost inedible. Like it was such a let down for a $20 meal, there should be a better attempt. The sauce coating did help drown out the overcooked taste. It comes with clear soup that was fine (it's never an exciting soup), a small amount of vegetables, decent noodles, and pretty bland fried rice. The carb heavy dish was most the meal. The other dish we got, scallop hibachi was pretty tasty, so that was a good choice for a dish. They have some other menu items, so I would come back, but the steak bring expensive and incorrectly cooked was a bummer, so I'd try something else but not that again.

Q Love this place like most of their menu. They're fast and I usually get food to go the only complaint is the parking sometimes there is none.

So excited to have hibachi and poke close by in Bloomfield. This place is really nice and clean from the inside. They have options to order multiple types of hibachi with meats including scallops, chicken, shrimp and steak. They also have build your own poke or preset poke bowls. I got the fire house bowl which wasabi mayo and spicy mayo with Kani, spicy tuna and spicy salmon with added mango. While the bowl was really good, it wasn't as spicy as I would have expected. Though I would get it again. Highly recommend this place!

I stumble into this place by luck. Upon entering I was greeted by the employees a big smile and friendly. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp meal, a California roll and two drinks. A Passion Fruit green tea and a mango. The food was fresh, the vegetables were cooked to Perfection the shrimp hibachi was delicious. The California rolls were fresh melting in your mouth. The drinks were refreshing soft to the palate. Not too sweet just perfect. The wait is great. They took their time cooking your meal But at the end you want to come back for seconds. Perfect handout placed inside a cute red souvenir bag. I will definitely come back. Thank you Marla-Rosa for such a beautiful smile and happy spirit.. No Problem digesting. .

Back with another review of this local gem. I absolutely love seeing how much this place has grown and changed since it first opened up and I'm happy to see it's here to stay. My last review of this establishment was regarding the great food that they were serving but I have to turn my full attention toward the bubble tea. I am a big sweets guy and I also love drinks so when you put those two together you get these great teas. The taro milk tea was the best I have had to date. Some places have a weird taste to theirs and it sometimes can taste like shampoo depending on the establishment but so juicy made theirs exactly how I expected them too- greatness. The other tea was not mine but it was also really really good. I. will absolutely keep coming back here and exploring the menu.

I can taste the soy in the rice it's a bit salty. The general tso's chicken is not spicy at all the chicken is crispy and crunch how I like it. Didn't taste to fresh

    Sushi Burrito

After living in Hawaii and eating some of the best sushi in the world, finally it happened. Finally found a place that make the sushi Burrito...omg soooooooo delicious. Ingredients are as fresh as possible. Parking is horrible. Make sure you order ahead and have someone that can run in and pick up the order or get it Door Dashed to you. I also had the tiramisu boba tea. I'll ask for little to no sugar next time. It was pretty good though.

    Stephanie L.

Happy we came here! Everyone is really nice and helpful. We didn't try the hibachi yet but the poke is delicious! Lots of choices and all the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Salmon lover bowl was great. My husband made his own bowl. The bubble tea is good too! Bubbles are just right (not hard or mush). Herbal tea and red bean add ins are good too. (Husband got mango slush and I got strawberry milk tea). Can't wait to come back!

I'm so glad my husband pressured me to. The eel was incredibly tender and delicate on the inside with a delicious crispy exterior and a rich flavor with every bite. The contrast in texture was so so good and it honestly exceeded my expectations in every way. I wish I had more. Easily the best eel I have had in the U.S. I'm still thinking about it weeks later. My husband ordered the Wagyu donburi, which was excellent. The Wagyu was incredibly tender. The waitress also cracked an egg over the beef. It came with rice at the bottom, miso soup, and broth. I also really appreciated that our waitress came over and explained the different ways to enjoy both entrees. There were four different ways to eat each one, which made the experience feel much more thoughtful and interactive. I enjoyed eating mine plain and mixed with broth, scallions, and seaweed. These were the only two dishes we ordered and both were excellent. I will definitely be back for the eel again. It is definitely cheaper than flying to Japan to get my fix.

We were able to be seated right away and the person who greeted us was incredibly kind to us. The restaurant is fairly spacious. They have lots of tables and some booths. As we were looking through their very large menu to the side, what to order, the waiter brought an appetizer on the house, which I believe was some kind of tempura fish, which was pretty good! We ordered four rolls and one miso soup. I do have to say that other places give you the miso soup when you order more than one roll, so it was different that we had to order it separately and pay for it separately, but I understand that restaurants are different. We got the Montclair, the Caldwell, the salmon avocado, and their Hawaiian roll. The one that truly stood out to me was the Hawaiian roll, it had kiwi and mango on top which made for a delicious combination and very refreshing. The other three rolls were OK, nothing outstanding. That miso was a bit sweet, which was different for me. At the end of our meal, they gave us orange slices and they were actually delicious! It was a cute surprise and truly showed the vibe of the people who run this place. Overall, the bill came around $50ish which was incredibly cheap for all four rolls and the soup. I definitely would come here again to get the Hawaiian roll and maybe try out some other stuff!

The pictures on-line make it look like a fancy place so we did dress up. When we arrived we quickly realized it's not what they advertise and what's in the pictures as it's actually a small run down dive spot. The biggest attraction must be its BYOB as the line was out the door with people holding 2-3 bottles of wine and beer. We were really hopping for the food to be great! Unfortunately we were disappointed causing the 2 star review on food alone. The quality and freshness was poor and everything was soaked in multiple sauces. We had the Cucumber salad that should have been called the pickle salad as there were more pickles than cucumbers. Also the calamari which is hard to mess up but they somehow did with 3 different sweet sauces on it. Next we had the Ramen which they are known for and it had Fried Chicken in it??? It was frozen store bought chickens they warmed up. The last thing we ordered was the black cod, this could have caused us to get food poisoning!! One bit each and we both had to take a sip of wine quickly to get the taste out of our mouths. We couldn't even take a second bit. They did give us free dessert because everything took so long which was very nice but that was our great server Matthew. Dessert was good! Another side note the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with pee on the floors and all over the toilet in both bathrooms. We did have a good night because we brought a very nice bottle of wine. Too bad they didn't give you real wine glasses. It was more of a plastic cup. I don't see us ever going back.
