We arrived at our hotel late and was planning on eating at Village Pizza but they close at 8p and we were in town around 7:45p. We noticed this Mexican Restaurant was open till 9p so we decided to eat here. It was a busy weekend night. This place had outside seating as well. We found 1 empty table right when you stepped in. Our server was amazing! My husband and I were going to split an entree. My husband's go-to is always an asada burrito. However, I asked for a suggestion. Our server recommended the Molcujete to split. Really it was the price of 2 entrees at $33 but was thinking that we needed to try something completely different and this was it. My daughter and mother split the enchiladas with rice and beans. The food took a long time however our server made sure we were kept in the loop, apologized and gave us more chips and salsa rather than ignore us. The molcujete was so different. In a pot with all the different meats, veggies and cheese along with tortillas. I liked it at a 4.5 out of 5. However, my husband didn't like it as much giving it a 4 out of 5. My daughter & mother loved the enchiladas giving it a 5 out of 5. The churro dessert was amazing. Carry cash because this place does charge a service fee for using a credit card. I think this place would have been more like a 4.5 star if they didn't do that. In the past, that was the cost of doing business was accepting credit cards to get more business but now instead of adjusting pricing on their food businesses is adding it. read more

It took over an hour for our table to get our food, and we noticed that tables that came after us got their food first. Our appetizer came out after our entrees. And when the food eventually did come, it wasn't even good. The carne asade was so tough and wasn't seasoned well. The server did not a good job. She continually forgot to bring our table things. We were supposed to get 3 orders of tortillas with our entrees, and we only got 1. When they ask if you want guac or beans with the free chips and salsa, they don't mention that it's not free. Each refill of guac is over $5. Scummy business to not let that be known. FOOD BAD. SERVICE BAD. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We drove out 1.5 hours to come here due to the great reviews and the nice summer day. This is by far the worst thing I've eaten in at least a year. We didn't even finish our food. We ordered the queso fundido. It was not fun, nor was it a queso dip. It was more of a midwestern casserole. No chorizo in sight. We should have run when the chips tasted of old oil. The birria made me so sad. I almost gave my best Gordon Ramsey impression and wrung the oil out on my plate. Server was nice, we just wanted to bail. Back for the first time in awhile. carne asada was really good. Asked for some hot sauce which was no fooling around spicy. The corn tortillas were really nice too. Food is amazing and so are the margaritas! Top notch quality, extremely authentic, and we always leave with a very satisfied (and full) belly. My personal favorites happen to be the enchiladas jalicienses and the pollo a la creama which was recently recommended by our fabulous server, Megan. Speaking of which...Megan is the absolute most kindest server in the world. We visit Roslyn area a couple times a year from Woodinville and she always remembers our family, always provides the best recommendations (some even off menu!), and always puts a smile on all of our faces. The beef and consume were wonderful. The noodles are not ramen. The owner says they are yakisoba... in my honest opinion (& a few other people's opinions) Thea are straight up spaghetti noodles. You can't convince me otherwise. For $22 so not a good deal. If you want good Mexican style beef ramen, go to Senior Bones. Less cost, just as much consume, more beef and you als get a great assortment of toppings. Avocado, corn, shedded carrots, hard boiled egg and a whole roasted jalapeño, all right there in the ramen bowl. Not at the Mexican grill... no toppings or additional ingredients. We were having a staycation in the area for a family reunion and decided to head to town for lunch. With a party of 9 we really appreciated their help in accommodating us. I ordered the grilled chicken mole and asked for grilled veggies as a side instead of rice and beans and that was no problem. Mole sauce can really vary from restaurant to restaurant and this one was slighty spicy. I would probably not order it again instead going for the Chile Relleno which was really delicious and the sauce bright and flavorful. Chips and salsa was yummy. read more

The best service I have ever received!!! Our waitress Pie was the sweetest. She got us seated as soon as we walked in and explained to us about the exclusive vegetarian options they have. Pie also recommended the things to do in the area. The house salsa was spicy and I loved it. We ordered custom veggie quesadillas, veggie tostadas, and chicken enchiladas with cocktails. Holy crap, I am still dreaming about this food! My friend and I stopped by here, as her cousin who lives in the area recommended Roslyn Mexican Grill. Her cousin said it was one of the best places to eat around town and it certainly was! I can't believe I've traveled to and through Roslyn multiple times and had never stopped by the Roslyn Mexican Grill. We came here on a Friday night and were seated immediately. We were told to get the tres chiles margarita, which is their house drink. It was huge! And the hint of spice was definitely there, which went well with the lime flavor. Start with a marg and you won't regret it! We were provided complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa was definitely spicier than other house salsas I've had before. It was good! Just note that only the first round of chips and salsa is complimentary. We ordered the carnitas, the birria and queso fundido. It didn't take long for our food to be ready, and daaammnnnn, Gina! It looked freakin' amazing. No standard meat on a platter with your rice and beans and melted cheese on top, like what you'll find at other Mexican restaurants. This place serves the meat in porcelain cookware, with a side of the rice and beans. And fresh made corn tortillas! NOMS! Everything seriously tasted delicious. I loved the birria, a stewed beef, which made for an awesome sauce. Sprinkle some lime on that baby and you'll find heaven, especially when wrapped with all the goods in a warm corn tortilla. My friend and I could not stop eating even though the portions were huge! We finally threw in the towel, knowing we'd be in a bikini later, taking half the food home. GET SOME, YO! It's one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to, with fresh ingredients, homemade corn tortillas and salsas, and huge margs! Our server was also friendly. We stopped here on the way to a camping spot. The service was amazing - the food came out pretty quick and the waitress was very sweet. However we didn't enjoy the food items we ordered as much as we wanted :( Here is what we ordered and my rating per each dish: Shredded chicken burrito (2.5) : The burrito only has shredded chicken in it and came with a code of beans and rice. Felt pretty barebones and didn't have great flavor. Chucked adobo (3) :The sauce had a little more kick to it, which I enjoyed but that's the only real positive for this dish that I could come up with. Been to many a Mexican restaurant in both Mexico, Canada, USA, and even Asia if u can believe it. I give it 3 stars because it's average. Nothing particularly wrong with it and nothing particular awesome. Bathroom and facility was clean. Service was very slow for our two meals ordered (carne asada and chicken fajitas). The mixed drinks are nothing to jump up and down about. Corona wet doesn't disappoint. The michelada was very bad - lukewarm to be quite exact. Parking is street side so plan accordingly. Wonderful experience!! Our large party of 9 was accommodated on short notice. The food was delicious (pork tacos, birria ramen, chicken/shrimp fajitas, tortilla soup, paella, burrito, flautas, quesadillas, and grilled chicken). Everyone ordered a different dish and everything was seasoned to perfection including the dishes in the kids menu. The peach margarita was delicious...and large! We stopped at this cute little spot on a trip back from Leavenworth. We were craving Mexican food and saw the great reviews for the Roslyn so we headed over there to check it out. We arrived just before 5pm on a Sunday and were seated immediately - I was glad we were early, because within minutes of our arrival there was a line out the door! We enjoyed their tasty chips and house-made salsa while we waited for our orders. The dude got the Enchiladas Oaxaca, featuring chicken and covered in a tasty mole sauce - I managed to sneak a bite and these were excellent. I had the Gorditas de Camarones and was a little disappointed. The shrimp were sparse and tasted almost like they'd been boiled - honestly they were pretty flavorless. We also shared a side of tasty rice 'n beans. Soon enough we were headed back to the big city, but I would definitely stop here again (and order something different) if I find myself east of the mountains anytime soon. read more

Amazing Roslyn! Every time my bf and I came to the area to go hiking or camping, we have to stop by Roslyn on the way out or in. It's such a lovely restaurant with amazing food! We have tried ceviche, campechana soup, coctel de camaron soup, camarones a la diabla, pulpo a la parrilla (octopus) and adobada (pork shoulder). We love them all! Went there long ago, food is extra ordinary. You will not find there sauce anywhere else. The table sauce is wry good but they have spicier ones on demand. The menu is supposed to be pre European, I cannot confirm or deny that but I did try grilled Cactus - which is somewhat unique item there. read more

Server was friendly and attentive for the first part of our experience, food (ceviche, beef fajitas) and cocktails (huckleberry mule) were great. First round of chips and salsa are free, subsequent rounds are $3.50. Salsa was on the warmer side of medium. Dogs are allowed for outside seating (~4 tables. Groups of 2 or 4). Our seat was half in sun under the building awning and ran to the car for a baseball cap. Bees were around us as well because we were under a flower planter. I'd avoid outdoor seating if you're allergic to bees. We came here on Labor Day and the whole service took 1 hr 45 mins. We will be back, but on a less busy holiday.
