Good Monday morning fellow Yelpers! Since we relocated to the Cape Coral area (we used to go to La Prince's Bakery in Lehigh), we were told about this Cuban authentic cuisine spot here in Cape Coral. It was simply delicious and we will definitely be back! I had the chorizo omelet with fries, extra cheesy. If you like omelets, I highly recommend it! We ordered two Cuban sandwiches and a cafe con leche. The sandwiches weren't terrible but definitely not the best in the area. The meat was pretty fatty, and it was really over sauced. The café con leche also tasted slightly off. Small restaurant inside but a cute Cuban cafe. I'll give it another try here soon and see if it's any better. May have just been an off day as other reviews were pretty good. read more

We ordered takeout for lunch via the Yelp/GrubHub online ordering. Online ordering is nice since the menu described each menu item in English. We ordered one of each of several things to try and everything tasted great. If unsure what to get, definitely go for the Cuban sandwich. The only slight glitch happened with the online ordering process. After I placed the order, I received an email from Yelp/Grubhub, stating that the order was not confirmed and for me to call Grubhub for assistance. I called Grubhub and then Grubhub called the restaurant to find out if they received the order. Grubhub was able to confirm that the order did go through and in fact, it was already ready for pick up. I don't know why I got the message stating that the order was not confirmed. It was confusing to me and the only reason I am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars. But we would definitely go back to this restaurant! read more

Sandwiches are large. We asked for water and they gave us bottled and later noticed the locals looked like they were given tap. Went there because it looked super inexpensive but ended up costing $30 for 2 sandwiches, 2 empanadas, and the bottled water we didn't ask for. And maybe we are just use to the generously filled empanadas back home that are so good. Busy place so a lot of people must like it. read more

Classic Cuban bakery. They have a nice breakfast special but nothing out of this world. It is very inexpensive for what prices are right now. If you're looking for a quick breakfast it's a nice place to stop by. Lots of good food, big dishes and great sized plates and food for cheap reasonable prices. Inside we ordered to go I noticed that they had 11 tables inside (9 tables that seat 4 & 2 tables that seat 2). Staff is very friendly and welcoming, for a Sunday at 1:45pm before they close at 2pm they are still busy. Means business is good. And they strive for excellence. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich, and 2 beef empanadas. My wife's ordered off the lunch menu. With chicken empanadas. Mixed veggies and plantains. This place is very cool. And delicious food. For a Cuban sandwich a lot of meat and great size for $5 and some change. They don't over price at all: this place is worth it. Atmosphere is busy but not to loud and like I said we ordered Togo and brought it back home. I really think this place is awesome and I think if u go and try it out too u will like it as well. Was pleasantly surprised with my first visit here. The staff was very friendly and made suggestions for my lunch. I have to say, the chicken empanadas stole the show. At $1.25 each, they beat any fast food hamburger in the area. Needless to say, I'm hooked and will be ordering a dozen to take home for late night snacking on my next visit. We really enjoyed our lunch at CoCo! The staff was really helpful and so pleasant! The food was scrumptious :-). My husband had the daily special fried chicken which was more of a lightly fried chicken with no breading. I had the chicken breast stuffed with cheese and ham which was fried and I think rolled in a Corn meal. My husband had the Tostones and I had the homemade plantain chips. I've been coming to this restaurant since it's original owners who sold to now the new owners. My wife and family come here so often that we don't need to place our order as we get the same breakfast every time we go. My favorite is the omelette sandwich with ham, egg and swiss cheese on Cuban bread pressed! And my first gets the breakfast of two eggs, bacon, fries and Cuban bread and Cuban coffee with milk for $3.99, a real tasty bargin! Service is FAST and they try to accommodate large groups. Always busy during mornings and lunch, well worth a trip this way. It's the closest thing to the flavors of Miami! read more

As nurses in the Cape Coral Hospital area (Florida), we came in often to buy cafe con Leche and guayaba-cheese pastries (big orders, always!). Today, I went in to order 20 pastries and 12 cafes con Leche, and today's cashier (06/17/2022) showed such a bad attitude the entire time I was placing my order. She was very rude throughout the whole thing and she finally said: "you should've ordered these the day before, otherwise we are not gonna have any more of these to sell for the rest of the day". I just kept thinking: isn't it a good thing to have a big order?...maybe not! After a few more rude remarks on her part, I declined my order and walked out. To my surprise, when I got into my car, this girl followed me to my car and knocked on my window, and started yelling at me furiously, in front of my family that was in the car (my daughter and two grandkids), complaining that the pastries were already on a box. Unfortunately for Coco Bakery, today was the last day that I even tried to eat there and, I will not recommend anyone to order there anymore. There are plenty of businesses around the hospital that treat us respectfully, and we are willing and happy to support them. read more

We checked Yelp and came to this restaurant thinking we would be taking Cuban sandwiches to go. However there are a number of tables so we ended up dining in. It was Sunday at lunch time and the place was very busy as I think there were a number of people finishing up breakfast which is advertised for $3.99 including coffee. Next time we will come back in time for that deal. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a Midnight sandwich. Unbelievably good. So large and meaty we each ended up taking a half home for supper. It was so hot that we could hardly eat it for the first minute. Best sandwiches we have had in a very long time. The bun was light and delicious and the meat was piled high and the cheese warm and gooey. Heaven. The staff were very friendly. We will be back! read more

Nice place and the service was ok . I ordered a Cuban Sandwich to go. I got into my car, I noticed everything was literally cold. I went back and told the waitress, who then sent it back to be heated. It then came back Super Hot! I went on my way from Cape Coral to Fort Myers and it was still hot 15 minutes later! I opened the bag when I got to my destination and discovered it was cooked in it's wrap and the paper was dirty from the grill and stuck to the sandwich. I took pictures to show how dirty the paper wrap was and how it was stuck to the paper. I can't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

This is absolutely the best bakery I have been at in many years. Their pastry with guava filling so good that I do not know how to describe it. The best I can say is that 40 yrs ago I lived next door to an Irish baker who made pastry for home on Sundays. Coco's is as good as his, maybe better.
