Worst pedicure and manicure of my life. Jenny painted my actual toes not just the nails. She asked if I wanted a callus treatment and I said no thank you just the regular pedicure. At the end they tried to charge me $15 extra. During my gel manicure I was cut several times and started bleeding. The gel manicure was awful and again my skin and cuticles were painted with nail polish. I will not be returning here ever. read more

Highly recommend this spa for anything you need. see Lia the manager for appointments, James for your nails, Annie or Jessica for pedi/ wax, and crystal for facials. Fist time here today and the people were so nice. My pedicure was outstanding.

Customers beware of this place. I asked about all the different types of massages, and didn't really get a straight answer. I should have realized that it was a mistake waiting to happen, but my husband was at HobbyTown, and I had an hour to spare. I then asked to see the brochure, and the basic massage was $80. I pointed to the $80 massage and said I want "this massage". Massage itself was decent, not the best, but definitely better than the average nail salon. At the end of the massage, some special cream was used on my arms and inner thighs (note: I did not ask for special cream), the massage therapist then tried to sell me a $100 jar of cream. She said it would be good for my dry skin. I told her no thank you, got dressed, and went to pay. Now my $80 massage turned into $95. I wasn't in the mood to argue that day, so I paid it. Gave a separate $15 tip (because I am an idiot), which they said they couldn't take a credit card for, but when I said I would tip her next time around, all of a sudden they could charge my credit card again for the tip, hmmm. Bottom line, almost a week later and I am pissed that I didn't stand up for myself, and I am writing this so other customers can beware of this bait and switch scam. This place is convenient to my home and I have had decent services done there in the past. I had a gift certificate that I wanted to use, so I went in three Sundays in a row. The first two times, a lady named Lee did my French manicure. She did not use the sterilized tools in the sealed package which the others use. She was also pushing me to do a gel manicure for $50.00. The second time, the French manicure Lee gave me chipped in three days. I noticed they were using Forever 21 white polish for the nail tips, not even a professional brand. The third time I went in, they tried to give me to Lee again, and I said "No, I want someone else to do my manicure b/c hers chipped so quickly." Lee was rude and tried to get me to sit at her station, but I refused again. She finally said, "Whatever you want", to which I replied, "No kidding! I'm the customer!". Never, Never again! Posh Nails in Southport is much cleaner, friendlier and more professional. read more

Today was the last draw for me with this place. I have been a very loyal customer to this place for nearly two years. For a paid professional to take 20 minutes on my eyebrows, 30 minutes for a simple manicure, and another 45 minutes on a pedicure is simply outrageous. I found myself telling the manager that there is nothing she can do to have me come back to the place. In between services, the girl that was assigned doesn't ask if the job was satisfactory, but she throws her hands up and screams, "Done!" If I go into any other details, I think I would throw this keyboard out the window. I am never coming back here again. read more

Went in three days ago to get a gel manicure and was charged 60$ plus tip, two of my nails are already chipped. There are much better nail salons out there for a way more reasonable price. Very disappointed read more

I went to coco yesterday and I am very disappointed. I paid $37 for a gel manicure, that is pricey to begin with, however I was very upset at the appearance of my manicure because it was extremely thick. What really makes my rating 1 star is that gel manicures are supposed to last several weeks and it is only a day later and mine has already begun to peel, such a waste of money and not to mention the employees were very rude. read more

Horrible ! Has a pedicure and walked out with rough feet. She initially used a cheese shredder on my feet and I had to ask her to stop and use a softer devise. I will never go back. $65 and it was like I never had a pedicure. read more

Meh I've experienced better justifies this salon. Beautiful salon lots of great colors. Staff not friendly. My pedicure for $26.50 was mediocre at best. No scrub or massage was performed and when I told my friend I wasnt fond of my color choice the nail lady yelled at me... I wont be returning. I always wanted to try out Coco Nails because I've been looking for a nice nail salon in the Fairfield area. I decided to go today because I had time and my kids were at camp. I had plenty of time to be there and I wanted to just sit and relax while getting a pedicure. First, I picked out my color and I feel like they have a small selection of colors. I only waited a couple minutes, then I sat in the chair. I was sort of excited about getting a man because I felt that since he's strong, he'll give me a very firm foot and leg massage, which was exactly what I wanted. I've never had such a fast pedicure in my life. James, the man doing the pedicure, was rushing so much that he kept dropping things. He told me I needed a callous remover, so I said OK. It was the shortest leg massage and before I knew it, he was painting my toes. I stopped him and asked about the callous remover and he said it was too late already. I told him to do it and he did it, hesitantly. It was an extra $15 for the callous remover, which was him putting some liquid on my feet and scrubbing. After that, he put my feet back into the little bath and put the dirty foot scrubber with the dead skin from my feet in with my feet! He went so fast that he didn't even put on any top coat. While drying, I was talking to another woman and she said that she would never return either. It is way too pricey and I was treated so poorly. Please avoid this nail salon. read more

Excellent! I've been going here for a couple years and they are very customer friendly. I love that they are open 7 days a week. Employees are always cleaning the basins and the floors, etc. so the spa is clean. A great place to go for manicures, pedicures, massages, waxing. read more

I've been to a lot of different salons for pedicures, and this one just wasn't that great. I know $25 isn't much for a pedicure, but I've been to really good $25 pedicures. The spa was beautiful, the manager was nice, but the pedicure only lasted about 20 mins. My feet barely got scrubbed, and pumiced barely at all. In fact, I went home and pumiced my feet more, because I felt that they still needed it. I don't think I would go back for a pedicure. read more

I've been coming to Coco for years and the establishment has been going down hill. They used to have new clean manicure tools for each client. That stopped a long time ago but they would then use a uv box in between clients. Now the uv boxes aren't even plugged in and the last manicure I got the girls tools were crusted with... I don't even know what. By the time I noticed it she was done. Also, my pedicure chair was broken and the tub jets weren't working. I'm not sure what's going on but I won't be going back. read more

I paid a lot for a spa pedicure and while the technician seemed pleasant and the pedicure was relaxing at the time, the next day and beyond my heels are just as rough as they were before the pedicure. When you're paying for a pedicure that's supposed to focus on removing dead dry skin, it should last more than a day! read more

I was so underwhelmed and disappointing by my visit to Coco Nails this past Saturday. My two friends and I happened to arrive at a somewhat busy time (in what looked like an otherwise quiet day for them) but were happy to wait for our manicures. I was assigned to the woman with the knee-high books and wavy hair with bangs, who I'm fairly certain is not a regular nail technician. It was pretty clear that her main role was to coordinate the business coming in with the technicians and rush things along by giving orders to the other employees about who to take and when. So that's basically what she did during my less-than-5 minute time in the chair. Her work was incredibly sloppy (I could have done a better job myself) and she was continually looking up and getting distracted/losing focus and it was abundantly clear that she was trying to get me to the hand dryers as quick as humanly possible. I had stray nail polish outside of every nail that she didn't bother to clean up once the top coat had been applied. Again, I would have put more time effort and energy into painting my own nails - so it's a letdown to have a non-relaxing experience that you're paying for be a waste. Will never go there again because their attention to detail and customer service are lacking. read more
