terrible. just terrible. completely unorganized and nail quality lasts you a total of 12 hours. paid over $120 for my girlfriends nails for a party we were attending later that evening and she came back home with a total of 6 nails left. wouldn't recommend for anyone who wants long lasting nails for the price that they paid. I'd rate 0 stars if I could

I am very picky when it comes to nail salon and so happy i found this one. The place is clean, cozy and serene. My nail tech was Rita, she is meticulous and gentle. For color gel they even have gloves to protect your skin. Price is slightly higher compared to the salons in the area. Pedicure was $25 and color gel was $28 but i left knowing they did a good job. Totally recommended!

I've been here twice now, once for a quick buff and shine manicure and once for a regular pedicure…read more I splurge once in awhile on a gel or dip manicure, fancy spa pedi, etc. but haven't had an occasion for that since I moved to the area. It's always really nice to find a place that still offers an affordable basic service, along with the high-end stuff, and still does an excellent job with the basics even though they don't profit as much. That's good business that makes me loyal, keeps me wanting to come back when I do have the chance to spend bigger. The spa has a nice atmosphere, although it does get a little loud when it's busy. Everyone is friendly and the service is quick, but not uncomfortably rushed. Massage chairs are great and they give a really excellent shoulder rub while waiting for your nails to dry, which is a great perk. Huge color selection and choices for different types of lotions and oils etc. for foot and leg massage with your pedicure. I can't speak to the durability of their polish jobs yet, but there always seem to be lots of regular loyal customers when I've stopped by. I will definitely keep coming back!

The nail technicians do good work, but the pricing is extremely frustrating…read more I was charged more than the posted price on multiple visits. The menu clearly listed UV gel fills at $55, yet I was charged $60 on one visit and $70 on another. When I questioned the higher price, I was told there were extra charges for the gel color, something that was never explained beforehand. Only after I pointed out the discrepancy was I refunded $5. Customers shouldn't have to question their bill every time they visit. Transparent pricing is basic customer service. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling like there is always going to be another surprise charge added at checkout.

Oh... how I miss this place. While running errands in my old Connecticut neighborhood I decided to…read moretreat myself to a mani-pedi at my favorite old salon. I nearly forgot how wonderful they are. Susan is no longer there, however, Kelly and Kim (I think that was her name) were marvels! This was, by far, the best gel mani I have ever gotten in... maybe ever. Really, it made me yearn to move back. it was definitely worth the 40 mile drive. In the weeks that followed I did every conceivable thing to sabotage my nails. hauled furniture, gardened, painted, scrubbed with wire mesh, never, ever wearing gloves. It was insane how perfectly they held up. Not one break, chip, or peel off. Its been nearly three weeks now. If not for the fact that my nails have grown out, they look as great as the day I had them done. Not kidding. Those ladies have serious skills! I noticed that their process is in some ways different than the other salons and am certain those measures account for the durability and polish. They also don't rush or cheat. Another big thing for me... without my asking, both women took additional steps to correct or minimize imperfections in my nails - the sort of things that I feel embarrassed to call out. Done without discussion and I thank you! Bonus points for free bottled beverages, clean, quiet atmosphere and a superb back massage. If you are local to Susan's, I am so jealous of you.

Wow. This seriously is the best deal for a manicure I've ever had…read more I first came to Susan's Nails years ago (13 years ago, in fact) before my sister's wedding. Over the years, I've been here a few times when I've been back in town, and my mom has come here once in a while, but not since Susan herself stopped working here. Before yesterday's visit, it never struck me as anything out of the ordinary, but they've made some amazing changes to their services which make this place really stand above the rest. My mom and I stopped in here for manicures early afternoon and were attended to immediately. The three technicians working (one male, two female) were very sweet, and attentive to my infant daughter who watched us from her stroller. I have had bad experiences with guys doing my nails in the past, so I was a bit unsure of how this would turn out, but the man technician who did my nails was top notch quality and super attentive to every detail in the process. My nails (and my mom's) look great, but the whole experience was worth waaaay more than the $10/manicure price we paid. Why? Well, with your manicure, you get a nice hand scrub and massage, a complimentary paraffin wax treatment for your hands (!!!), hot towel, a neck/back massage during the paraffin treatment AND a massage (with some deliciously warm neck compress) while your hands are drying. I've paid $15 extra for paraffin treatments in the past, and could not believe that this was all included in the $10 price tag. My mom also got a wrap put on one broken nail and it looks good as new! I will definitely make a point to come back here whenever I come home to Wilton.
