Stopped in for lunch this past Monday. We had some time to kill before our evening flight home. And I am glad we did. Food and service was really good. It was pretty quiet for lunch so me and my friends just sat at the bar. We pretty much kept it simple. We all ordered the Katfish sandwich and opted to get the sauce and coleslaw on the side. That was the best fish sandwich I have had in a long time. The fish was nice and crispy and fresh out the fryer. The camp sauce and coleslaw is a nice touch on the sandwich, it is even better with some tabasco as well for that heat. Our bartender Makenzie was very nice and attentive. She checked on us quite often. The manager was very nice and he came around to make sure we were doing ok and if the food was really good. Redfish was overcooked and over seasoned even after asking for "lightly seasoned". My wife had chicken fingers that were completely dry and unedible. You'd think a place called Fish Camp would know how to cook fish. The red beans & rice was extremely dry also. We don't plan on going back & would not recommend this place to anyone. Service was great and ambiance is good but we came here just for the crawfish boil and it was so not good. It's just a bunch of meh looking crawfish with Cajun seasoning sprinkled on top, so it's super dry. The potatoes and corn are the same, very dry. Would not waste $58 on it. Definitely come here for the half off all drinks happy hour! The drinks are really tasty and you can't beat the price after half off! This place is humongous and has a huge patio area as well. Seems like it's a popular spot with the locals and I can see why. I didn't get any food (Just had dessert) but the food looked to be really good! Fun, flavorful, and full of character! We'd just arrived at our vacation condo and needed a quick, walkable spot to grab dinner -- Cocoa Beach Fish Camp Grill hit the mark perfectly. We were seated quickly and immediately greeted by a friendly, attentive team who made us feel right at home. They pointed out happy hour and a great deal on the build-your-own mac & cheese -- $5 off! Tart, creamy, and actually had a solid pour of liquor (a welcome change from the usual 1-oz "tastes like juice" pours I'm used to). We were looking for a place to eat and it was already 930 so it was slim pickings and we found this place next to our hotel. We got sat down within minutes and we're greeted by our waitress. She was very nice but disappeared a couple of times. When we received our food it took awhile to get. The food was yummy and flavorful. It wasn't bad at all. Revisiting an old favorite! The vibe of this restaurant is super cool, very neat decor on the inside and outside. We sat outside. They were very quick to bring out food and get our order taken. One of the few places that was open late night after kayaking, so some grace given there. The food was very pricey and the chicken and gator were all over cooked, extremely dry and hard. It was disappointing, especially considering the price. The Mac n cheese was the only thing that tasted good. Better to grab some fast food if you're out late. It's a really good beach adjacent bar/ restaurant. Nice interior but I ate on the patio... I was very happy. Full menu with burgers wings and seafood. I got the jambalaya... it was excellent ( maybe a little salty on the shrimp but the rice balanced it.) large helpings and prices were very reasonable. Wait staff was efficient and engaging. The fish and all the menu items are THE BEST IN TOWN. Unfortunately the music outside was terrible. He played a good guitar but his vocals were terrible. Probably one of worst I heard playing here. My friend and I went, at the recommendation of two people, on Friday night--all you can eat catfish $20. Let me tell you... that fish was delicious!! It was seasoned to perfection. I also had the fried okra, fired pickles, and hearty brisket chili. My friend topped off her meal with a key lime martini--3. I topped my meal off with a rum drink called "drop you britches' served in a mason jar. Rest assured I did NOT drop my britches, but the drink was... you guessed it GOOD. If you like katfish, gator and frog legs the food is for you. The service was poor as the server only got to us every 30 minutes. The Ambiance is really fun though with a lot of Karaoke nights, piano battles, line dancing ect. We stayed at a hotel nearby as we were shipping off on a cruise the following day and we decided to eat here since it was within walking distance. I'm glad we did. We had an amazing evening. The food was great. The service was excellent and the music was spectacular. The musicians were funny, kept everyone entertained, made sure to include the e tire crowd constantly which in turn around held us there longer. The food was different than what we're used to at home but really good. The portions were pretty big too. The drinks are pretty string beware . Definitely give them a try if you're in the area. The presentation was good, but just too dry. I picked 2 sides, pasta salad and red beans and rice. They brought me Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. The waitress quickly fixed this. When I finally received my correct sides, the pasta salad was good, but my red beans and rice were over cooked. The happy hour drink prices were excellent and the wait staff was good. Honestly really impressed by this place! Spontaneously came here for dinner with my friends after we spent the day at Cocoa Beach. I was really excited because I hadn't had southern/Cajun food in so long. This place definitely satisfied my comfort food craving. I was already interested in the jambalaya because it sounded amazing, and since it was Tuesday they had a half off special for jambalaya! How could I not order it at this point?? It was soo good, and exactly what I was craving. Also the portion is massive! Really flavorful, hearty, and full of savory protein that pairs so well when mixed with the rice. Highly recommend!! The food wasn't very good. The ribs had jarred sauce and were very fatty and greasy and were served cold. The Mac n cheese sauce tastes like it came out of a can. It was bland. When you order onions and peppers added, be prepared, they are raw. The beer can chicken is always good but they run out of it quite often. The place looks cool and the decor is fun. Its also very loud acoustically. I dont take older members of my family. I hear there is live music and stiff drinks but I have yet to see this at dinner time. We stumbled upon this AMAZING place on a Sunday as our go-to spot was closed. And boy are we happy we discovered a new favorite! Let's start with the hostess : she was very sweet and quick to direct us to our table. Our waitress came by right away and we ordered. That day they had $1 Mimosas and ...how do you pass that up? My husband got a margarita that he said was great. Our food - fish, tacos- was so flavorful and the portions were healthy. Plenty of parking outside and the place is relatively big.
