I had scheduled a 12noon appt with Jarred today to see an Equus they had for sale. At 10:11am this morning I confirmed our appt. via text. I arrived 3 minutes before noon only to be told Jarred was too busy with a customer and couldn't Meet with me. I was shuffled off to another salesman who then tells me the car I came to see was sold. Jarred knew I had to drive 45 minutes from south Melbourne just to see that one car. Guess he was just far TOO BUSY to take 5 seconds to send me a text that the car was sold. Truly horrible experience! After inputing an internet request online, I received notice there was a car that matched what I was looking for. Prepared to drive down in the morning, was disappointed the next morning when I received notice the car had already been purchased. Middle of the day- the internet salesman, Karona Meas called me to tell me the buyers had backed out and the car was available. We drove 2 hours to "be handled so unprofessionally by the Financing Manager." BEWARE!! STAY AWAY!! This dealership makes it's money in your payments!! We walked away. Truly wish I had known this beforehand- it would have saved me 4 hours of driving. Imagine our car ride home without the new car we were hoping to purchase! They gave me a quote for $2450 for replacing working parts. I took my car to another shop and got it fixed for $160. It has been 10 months and my car still runs smooth with no issues. Repair advisor was trying to give me fear and purposely talking quick to prevent me from asking details. Advisors are trained to give you fear and sell redundant services instead of advising you with the truth. Btw, I took my car to multiple Hyundai services and Cocoa Hyundai was the only first dealer that returned my car unwashed. My neighbor and my co-worker were complaining about their sales department. Deceptive bait and switch company. Promotional flyer received in the mail...if your number matches this you win $5000, $3500, 100 gift card. Mine said I won $3500. I had to call a number to verify the code. Yup, you are a winner! You just need to show up to claim your prize. I asked her what the catch was. There was a statement in the small print the number must match the prize board. I asked if the prize board was the same as the number I was verifying. My answer...no idea, we are just a call service. Ok fair enough. When I went to the dealer I asked the guy the same question as he was taking my info. Yes, you are a verified winner. Ok, but is the number on your prize board the same as the number that I called into verify? Yup! Ok, great. He finishes taking my info then says, let's walk over and verify the number on the prize board. I asked him why, it was already verified on the phone. We just need to verify it here. Hmmm, ok, seems kinda redundant, but ok. Over to the "prize board" we go. Before we even got close I could see none of the numbers match mine. Except the phrase "all other numbers" under the $100 gift card picture. He explained to me how my number did not match...which is basically saying I just lied to you about the numbers on the "prize board" being the same as the number that was verified via phone. So, here's your $100 gift card. Ummmm, no! He gives me a card they purchased for maybe $2 good for "up to" $100 at local restaurants. And the deception is complete. If they are this deceptive about a straight up $3500 prize, or worse a $100 ($2) prize, how can you trust them to not rip you off selling you a car? read more

Refused to give me a price on a truck ... All I wanted was a cash price on a used truck advertised on their website. Pretty simple, no? Well, guess their "chat" representative does not have that info ... wants info from me. Internet manager (Carlos Lopez) responds with questions about everything but the price. I responded saying I just want a price, a cash price, what is so hard about that. His snooty response was: "Sir I was trying to help you. But in this case we will pass. I'm not one to write reviews but if I could give them a true star rating it would be a -9.5 out of 10. That's right, they went negative on the scale. We've never received such an awful and disrespectful treatment like the one we received at this place last Saturday. We pulled in and the first thing we saw was the sales personnel sitting on a table outside shooting the breeze or on their phones, a sight that already made us feel reluctant to go inside. A guy by the name of Tony quickly approached us before we stepped inside and I told him I was looking for Jeanne since I had been in contact with her about test driving a new Elantra N, to which he replied that she wasn't a salesperson and that he, in fact, was a "real" salesperson. We then went inside the showroom where he started giving me a runaround about getting me to leave in the car the same day, totally disregarding that I had gone to test drive it since I am interested. As most of you know, buying a new vehicle has a significant financial impact and test driving the vehicle to see if it meets or exceeds your expectations can be the deciding factor in moving forward with a deal. After a very short interaction, Tony went to a back office to talk to someone and came out saying that if I wanted to take the car that same day I would be paying $52,000! I tried my hardest not to burst out laughing, since he just came out with a price almost $20,000 over MSRP for a white Hyundai, infamously known for their peeling paint, because "it was the only one". I've never heard about having to buy a car to then test drive it, which just proves he wasn't interested in my concerns. After obviously not taking that salesperson seriously, he brought out Brian Gore who apparently is the financial director. We sat down and started talking about another manufacturer brand I was considering. Brian said that I'd "have more money to spend on girls and nice restaurants, etc..." in front of my partner. Absolutely inappropriate, disrespectful and immature comments from an absolutely pathetic person to serious potential buyers who are almost in their 30s. He thanked us for our interest and stepped out. Me and my partner couldn't help but laugh our way out of this place. After reading some reviews, I'm surprised this dealership hasn't lost their partnership with the Hyundai brand. Don't waste your time or gas with these people like I did, there are way better dealerships elsewhere in Central Florida. read more

This dealership bait and switched me. Don't do business here. They are more interested in money than reputation. I made a deal with an internet representative, Rick Music. I drove 5 hours from Tallahassee so I could get the car the next day. I was called in the morning to be told that the car I had made a deal with was sold the night I was driving at 8 pm (the time they close). The dealer told the manager that he had asked me for a deposit which was a lie- I had asked if I should put some money down to hold the car and the dealer had said that I didn't have to. I went to the dealership that morning because I was upset and did want to continue doing business with them. And then they showed me a car that was same mileage , same year everything except thousands more! They also showed me shittier cars with more mileage than I had wanted etc. Update: After I complained to Hyundai USA, I was called by the owner or manager and he basically berated and shamed me for calling "the top". He offered me nothing and was rude. I asked him to stop all communication with the company but I received another email from this company. I have bought a vehicle at another dealership and the process was smooth and the dealership kept their word in regards to the deal we made. I'd avoid this place at all costs. read more

Don't buy your car from this shady dealership, when we bought our car the sales man we had was actually nice and professional. The bull shit started when the sales manager Sheldon who was filling in for the financial manager tried sneaking a bunch of warranty stuff in with our loan. It was handled after I caught it. Fast forward a few months, we refer a Co worker to buy a car due to there "referral" program where we would receive $200. The sales man writes our name down from the people who we referred them to and nothing has come of it. My wife speaks with this salesman and he proceeds to call her a liar and suggest we were making it up and denies ever writing our name down. I spoke to the sales manager and they continue to ignore me. They are the most shady and unprofessional dealership I've ever been to. Purchased a used Mustang June 25 (love it) However had to bring it to FORD to repair the electric driver's side mirror (non functioning) Hyundai wouldn't touch it; made another FORD appointment to repair inside convertible roof; and the engine splashguard fell off (now secured with a bungi); and another appt with the body shop coming up to work on the paint blemishes(scratches) covered up by the racing stripes (I asked to be removed by Hyundai (they weren't in the pic online)); and bought floormats because 3 of the 4 were missing (was told it was 'my problem"); no manual...one was found but I had to drive back to pick it up, but yes, a little black paint pen was given to "touch up" the paint issues. As I finally got behind the wheel (6 hrs later)....no gas in the car....they did put some in 2/3 full. You'd think after spending $20K a tank full would be appropriate...just sayin' Update: the splash guard has to be replaced to the tune of $300. As I sit here at Paradise Ford (who have been great) They don't answer emails..... Found out why they put the white racing stripes on the car....covered a crack ing the rear bumper (top of the bumper to the bottom....honesty...nope) read more

What a lousy warranty on my Santa Fe. Five years and 3 months old with only 33,000 miles and needed brake job which was quoted by dealership at $900.00 but had my garage do it for $600.00, then mechanism on door that raises and lowers window went for the tune of $400.00 quoted by dealership but was able to get it done for $250.00 and now front sway bars and stabilizer links are shot and guess what, warranty ran out in April! This place is horrible if you need a oil change. Just spend two hours on an oil change and the lady that helped me was not friendly. I have had her every time i come in and isn't pleasant at all. Then when it comes to anything warranty you better bring your wallet. Because they won't even look at your vehicle even if you bought it five months ago with out paying 100 bucks. Definitely won't be buying a car here again or i will drive my butt to Melbourne for the better service. Plus i just looked at my receipt and my 30 dollar oil change went up too 38 bucks. I feel like I don't have the gull to say anything negative about this dealership and/or the seller who helped me; because the seller and the rest of team did get me to drive out of the dealership with a 2016 car with the worst credit. I know, I know...I obtained a great amount of f*uckery, but I went in there knowing this and I really love the car. There were many things I did not allow them to offer me, because I did do the research on the car in question. Overall, because of the seller, the after hours dealing and the great effort of getting me financed, I have to say I had an OK experience. These guys are scam artists. They got me to come down with the old bait'n'switch. Promised they'd hold on to this great used elantra until I could get off work. Then when I show up "oh sorry we sold it earlier, let me show you what else we have." As they tried to get me in a 3 year older bucket with none of the amenities, terrible interior, and sounded like crap. The kicker, they wanted almost the same price. Funny thing is the car I came for had been there for a month...and when I showed up, they sold it. And then they changed their story about having to send it to auction because it wasn't up to standards. BS. These guys give off the scumbag vibe and will tack on an $800 dealership fee to whatever you buy...the highest I've seen in the county. I just brought in my 1 year old Sonata for my second "free" oil change and my 15,000 mile service and had some minor cosmetic work done. I so appreciated the way I was handled from the minute I drove up to the minute I picked up the car. I was assigned a service person who I sat down with and went over all the items that needed taking care of. He quoted me approximate costs and coordinated all the work. Got me a loaner car and stayed in touch all throughout the service. It was a seamless day and I paid far less than I was expecting for all the things I needed attending to. Reluctantly went to the dealership today after reading the two poor reviews on this site. I needed to get an estimate to repair the bodywork on my car which was damaged in an accident this week. I found every person I met to be helpful, friendly, courteous, professional and found the estimate to be very fair. In addition, I accidently went into a building where I thought the body shop was and found that the owners had given that space to a charity who collects food and distributes it to local elementary schools to feed children in need. Since then I have been getting free oil changes at the old and now new service centers. I liked the old service center but the new one on 520 is amazing! Purchaser BEWARE!!! I have a friend who purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I suggest that NOBODY ever deal with them, they have the worse service department I have ever dealt with. The 2013 Hyundai Elantra was purchased on 9/19/2016. She has had to fight with the service department from day one. My friend went on vacation and left her car in my care. The battery went dead and the vehicle will not start. The battery is a Hyundai battery with a purchase date of 2/2015. I called the service department to inquire about the warranty. I called and spoke with the service manager and he said the battery life date follows the car so since the car is 40 months old the battery has no warranty, WHAT??? Following this logic if I bought a new Hyundai battery for the car today that battery would be out of warranty the day it was purchased. I questioned the service manager and he could not answer why they will no warranty the battery, all he would say is the battery is out of warranty because the car is 40 months old. I am not accepting that and I have already begun a campaign to alert the car buying public to NEVER buy from Cocoa Hyundai in Cocoa Florida. I contacted Holler Hyundai in Winter Park Florida and they readily agreed to replace the battery without hesitation. The car was not purchased by them but they recognized that the battery has a warranty of it's own, it does not follow the life of the car. This is service. If there are any other issues with this vehicle it will be taken to Holler Hyundai in Winter Park and not Cocoa Hyundai. read more

Struggle a year and a half to find out what services has been done to this vehicle, just to get told a lot of the services that was done to the vehicle has not been done at this dealership as been told by the sales department when I bought the vehicle. Long story short got told by the Service manager that if I'm not happy with the vehicle to trade it in and buy a new vehicle.
