I stopped in and was helped by a very friendly barista! I got a 4 pack sampler with Dulce de Leche, Cafe con Leche, Sea Salt Caramel, and Mexican Vanilla. The chocolates are wonderful quality and we enjoyed all of them, but my favorite was Cafe con Leche - perfect balance of coffee/milk flavors! I will definitely be back again for that one and look forward to trying more! I highly recommend this spot for a nice sweet treat or meeting up with friends (they have nice seating inside and out, and love their decor)!

Whoever helped me out here was such a sweetheart! I enjoyed the friendless and answering my questions. I got some chocolate items, but I really was not the biggest fan of them. However, my Matcha drink was AMAZING!!! I will go back for that for sure. They also had an area with stickers, and some other stationary items which were fun!
I was skeptical of a $10 chocolate bar- but probably one of the best chocolate bars I've had in my life. Love the inclusion of vegan options!
Oh CocoAndre`! Beautifully laid out Cafe in Oak Cliff. Warm and inviting offering Speciality Coffees,Horchata, and Artisan Chocolates. Today I had the Mojito Coffee which was a spin on the classic cocktail, but uses Espresso instead of Trquila! It was bright and acidic which is really great on a hot day(sip). Fresh Mint helps to balance the Espresso and keeps the drink from being bitter. I husband had a Jamaica Drink that was reminiscent of vibrant Hibiscus Cooler. We also had Truffles ( because what's life without chocolate...boring) The Chocolates were silky and succulent. No chocolate crumbles in sight! (That's how you know it's the GOOD STUFF) Need a little pick me up? Check it out!
Great little spot in Oak Cliff. Had the dirty horchata which was delicious! Service was wonderful, prices are a bit on the higher side, definitely worth trying!
I attended my first Yelp Elite Event here at CocoAndré Chocolatier the other day. I wouldn't have known about this place if it weren't for our Dallas Community Manager, Semhar. Thank you Semhar! This place is really tucked into the fabric of the neighborhood in the Bishop Arts District, but it is still walking distance from Bishop Ave. and all of the other cool places to visit. It's always cool to go back your hometown and enjoy small businesses like this one and help them thrive, and I will come back because before the Elite Event, I was already eyeing the Milk Chocolate Pistachio Bark (they also make it in a dark chocolate). It is delicious!! A perfect blend of sweet and savory with the added sea salt. A must try. I also got the complimentary Horchata, and chocolate candy on a stick. For a Yelp Elite Event I thought there would be more bells and whistles, like the news being there wanting to interview me or something like that. LOL!! I was just kidding, but seriously, you need to try this gem of a Chocolatier, it won't disappoint.
There's no better feeling than supporting a small women owned, Latin X owned shop here at home. It's an even greater feeling when everything you buy, from the truffles, to the chocolate bars, to the coffee has you coming back every weekend. This chocolate shop hits the spot whether you're looking for really good coffee while walking through Bishop, or to grab some really great truffles for yourself bc you're worth it bestie. My fiancé and I stopped by Coco Andre, as it's been on my list of places to check out in Bishop arts -- I absolutely love that they are currently still following CDC guidelines, meaning that you need to have a mask and only four people are allowed in the shop at a time. There's also hand sanitizer at the cash register as well as at the entrance of the chocolate shop for everyone's convenience. Now what you're really here for: we decided to get a little bit of everything from the chocolates displayed at the front of the store to the ready to go boxes on the left-hand side. I opted for a spiced rum truffle, an orange dipped in chocolate, The raspberry lavender chocolate as well as the pear ginger chocolate truffle. My top two favorites were definitely the raspberry lavender, which is a dark chocolate truffle and raspberry infused ganache topped with some crystallized lavender. The pear ginger was similar and that it was also a dark chocolate truffle, pear ganache, topped with crystallized ginger. For my mom, I picked up the concha chocolates which she virtually inhaled, and Roseberry milk chocolate bar that I devoured after I hit miss Mary Jane *cough wink cough* The real winner was definitely their dulce de Leche Latte (I added a shot of espresso for an extra kick) With Mother's Day around the corner, you're definitely gonna want to stop bye and pick some things up for your mom and your ex's that you need to thank
My boyfriend and I made a visit to CocoAndre for a Yelp event, and it was an adorable chocolate shop a little outside the well beaten BA path. The selection shows how much they know what they're doing. Aside from popular belief, good chocolate ain't an easy thing to make. We both had horchata, but I'm regretting not getting it "dirty" (or with a shot of espresso) because it reminded me of steamed sweet milk, but lighter. I need to try horchata elsewhere because I'm no expert, but it wasn't love. However, their chocolate is damn good. They have lots of gift options, and little take away pieces.
I visited this chocolate shop for the first time and had no idea it was Mexican-American themed and owned! I was really excited to see the variety of treats they offered along with items from other small businesses. I tried the vegan horchata and I had a piece of milk chocolate. Both were excellent! I'm planning to come try the coffee drinks next time. The truffle selection was awesome, there was so much I wanted to try but so far I've had the French vanilla, spiced rum, double fudge, and the Turkish coffee. I needed to leave some for me to try next time. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the location and all the different molded chocolate, they had chocolate shapes for every occasion - from custom high heels to rabbits for Easter to luchador masks and cowboy boots. If you're a chocolate lover, you have to check this place out!
What a gorgeous shop that's not only LatinX owner, but woman-owned as well! Cindy and her mother have created such a unique business with some of the most delicious chocolate I've ever had. They're also pioneers for the Latino community not only through their history but all over their social media platforms. The inside is decorated beautifully and features chocolate cowboy boots and tons of treats for purchase. Their homemade churro ice cream is amazing with the conchas! Loved it so much!! I highly recommend trying their horchata lattes! Such an amazing hidden gem tucked into the streets of Bishop Arts.
This business is really amazing. I love the creativity and small touches you see from the sign when you walk in to the multiple unique flavors you have to choose from in the chocolate itself. Also the chocolates have lots of little touches and are very obviously made by experts. This business is a family business who has doing it professionally for 11 years and it shows. Come in and try some chocolates-- you won't regret it. Truly delicious and great flavors. P.S. can I please give a shout-out to the truly contactless experience??? From the payment system, to the rack the put the drinks on which doesn't require touch, to the plastic that separates the employees from the customers, they truly thought of everything P.P.S. The truffles are stunning and are so smooth in texture. They melt in your mouth like a slice of heaven and the flavors really pop through. Excellent quality chocolates and definitely worth the visit for alone-- must must try when you go.

CocoAndre Chocolatier 's chocolates existed as rewarding indulgences after an extensive day of Christmas Shopping. It thrives with the small, yet cozy homes in the Bishop Arts District. Not your typical Russell Stover's or See's Candy Shoppe; for there's a limited, but respectable selection in these assortments that have your taste buds experiencing such pandemonium that the only thing to separate you from this establishment is if they were to close.....indefinitely. Let's NOT SPEAK that into existence. **utters silent prayer** You're going to pay a pretty penny for just about anything you buy here, but just know these delicious pleasures, made with the purest and finest ingredients, that aren't only good to your senses, but your mind, body (in moderation maybe?), and soul, are favorable to enjoy every once in a while. I tried the caramel, pecan, and dark chocolate candy. What a precise amount of sea salt that balanced the velvety chocolate and gooey caramel! By golly I'm pleased we crossed each other's paths. I finally checked out this little spot in the bishop arts area. I'd heard about it plenty but had not checked it out myself. It is a small, local, woman, Latinx owned business. They have a variety of horchatas-- which as someone else mentioned, I did not realize there were so many different flavors of horchata. We tried the original and it was great! I got an iced tiramisu latte which was also delicious! It was the perfect sweetness but also the coffee was strong. They have so many chocolate designs to choose from-- dinosaur, cowboy boot, butterfly, high heels, mini conchas, and more! They also had chocolate dipper pretzels and Oreos as well as chocolate bars. Along with their chocolate truffle selection! They have a hallway off to the side with some goodies such as cards and small gifts (soaps, stickers, earrings, merch, candles, mugs, and again more!) It looks like a house so definitely pay attention when you're looking for it. It is a cute spot and the edible treats they have are delicious and the other little treats are cute to look at and pick up something for yourself or a friend. The service was friendly and quick. No one rushed us and when we asked for what they recommend they weren't the slightest bit annoyed of us allowing them to pick for us. I can't wait to be back and try more horchatas! read more

As part of a giveaway I won on Instagram, I got to try $40 worth of amazing goodies from this place, which I have been dying to try!!! I feel like I picked out a great array of choices too. The strawberry horchata was delicious, and the roseberry chocolate bar was so awesome, with dried up roses pressed in the back of the bar. I loved that you could taste the rose flavor. The truffles were amazing! Though small, they have delicious flavor, my top 2 favorites were blood orange and raspberry lavender, the Texas themed chocolates were yummy and so perfect if you were gifting to someone out of town or visiting. I have had chocolate from all over the world. What sets CocoAndre' apart from the rest is ¡La Familia! feeling you get when you walk in the door! Afterall, it is a family-owned and operated biz! Other chocolatiers I've been too seem to make chocolate candy and other items for sheer profit. You don't get that feeling here. Each item is made with love and that makes a huge difference! Everyone is super nice! I can't soeak enough about the chocolate offerings and I refuse to choose just one favorite item to write about! However, you must go and try for yourself and you will see why I can't decide on a favorite! I know my stomach will want more and this will be a regular stop when I'm in the area...even if I'm not I will go anyway! Totally woth the traffic to get the chocolate here! read more
Cute spot in the neighborhood with a few tables out front. Its a small shop and presently they only allow 4 guests at a time for covid19 precautions. Cindy was super sweet and helpful in choosing our chocolates. Because there are so many interesting flavors, we opted to get our own 4 box of our choice chocolates. They also send you home with a flavor card so you can remember which ones you choose. This way you can try different flavors the next visit. Love the presentation of the chocolates and how they gift up the boxes. Its the small details that leave the biggest impressions in my mind. We will be back to try more flavors. read more

It's the stickers for me!! I loved the whole atmosphere of Coco Andre! It's so cute and has a really cute gift area, which was a surprise. I ordered the dirty horchata and it was yummy. You definitely taste the chocolate in it, which gave it a great and unique flavor. I also really loved the sanitizing station outside! It's the little touches that matter. I'll definitely be back to get some Chocolate gifts for my friends in the near future. read more

A few months back I checked out CocoAndré after a friend recommended I try their vegan horchata, I never stopped going after that! Horchata is incredible, the atmosphere even better. Price of the chocolate are great compared to several other places. The chocolates are all pieces of art as they are beautifully crafted. Staff members and workers are extremely welcoming and explained us the whole history of the chocolate designs, especially the shoes. Make sure you take a stop by here as it is pretty cool! I was extremely bombed out to find that the conchas are seasonal since this was the number 1 reason for my excitement to visit CoCo because I'm not an extreme chocoholic. The shop is a cozy little cottage. The space in front of the register was tight but I'm sure it was amplified because the rest of the shop was closed off due to restrictions. There were assortments of packaged chocolate and truffles. My complimentary treat was a white chocolate heart shaped hard candy. It was a fine quality but it didn't give me much to write about. The highlight of my visit and turned my disappointment into satisfaction was the horchata. I ordered the dirty horchata which is a regular with a shot of espresso and if was so delicious. It left that powdery feel in my mouth that you get from the rice milk which I find pleasant but with CoCo's it was mild and the cinnamon wasn't overpowering. I kept going back for that distinct flavor. I also ordered the strawberry and match horchata to go. I haven't tasted those yet but my daughter had the strawberry which they serve with whipped cream and she absolutely loved it. I can only give my review on the Horchatas and the white chocolate unfortunately but I do intend to visit again in the summer when the concha is in season. read more

Had an amazing experience at this chocolatier store. They have horchata flavored coffee, I had never tried that before, the combination really hit the spot. It was sweet and had this coffee aftertaste, I loved it! Most importantly they have a wide variety of chocolate to pick from. Many distinct flavors and combinations, and it's all made in house. I decided to try the lavender chocolate and one of the chipotle chocolates. They really tasted as described, the chipotle one was spicy! Which I loved! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, plus they have covid protocols in place. And tables outside, where you can enjoy your chocolate treat. I recommend paying them a visit to satisfy your chocolate cravings. It's family owned, so make sure to go support them. read more

This is the perfect place to grab a birthday gift!! I got a 6 pack of truffles (really reasonably priced, I think $13.00) and they wrapped it up with ribbon and gave me a bag and tissue paper! I also bought a birthday card there and we grabbed a horchata for the road. I can't wait to come back!! read more

CocoAndre, where do I begin? Their chocolate is an experience! Whether you're sampling one of their many inventive truffles, their beautiful candy bars and molded edibles, or their epic pistachio, sea salt and coconut bark (to name a few) you're in for a treat. They also serve chocolate dipped ice cream seasonally, as well as beverages. I'm obsessed with their ridiculously good dirty horchata. Most of all, I adore the owners and their family. It's always even more satisfying to support independent businesses run by good people who are passionate about their craft and truly care about their community. read more

Parking is tricky. In addition to the single car driveway and street parking, the Sherwin-Williams across the street allows customers to park on their private lot. I was also told there was parking in the rear, but there wasn't signage to make that clear. If I had known all these options, I wouldn't had to park a block away. Rather than choosing one of the wide variety of heart-shaped chocolates, I decided on the truffles. When in doubt, always go for the truffles. They also gave me the option to select from the exotic flavors (e.g., cardamom) to the not-so-exotic (e.g., double fudge). The display case was confusing because there were signs for flavors which were not available. read more
I've been going to bishop arts for years and never knew this gem existed! It's definitely worth a visit for the chocolates! I enjoyed all of the flavored truffle ganaches- particularly the sea salt caramel and mint. The horchata is also really good/a great mixer or seasonal drink to have. The matcha one seems unreal/unique- would love to try! The only thing I wasn't too big of a fan of was the concha itself- it just tasted little dry/too bread-y but everything else was amazing. read more

I love Bishop Art's District. There are so many nice restaurants and cool local shops to visit and the area is so walkable. CocoAndre Chocolatiers tops my list as the number one place to stop for truffles, dark chocolate and ice cream bars when I'm in Bishop Arts. As soon as you enter you're already happy because it smells so good and looks so good. The store is bright and the chocolates are displayed beautifully, everything is first class. I think it's cool that you can see the chocolatiers busy at work. The store associates are so genuine and pleasant you're glad that you are there and know you'll be back. This shop is so cool that in the novel, Loyal, set in Dallas, the main characters stop at CocoAndre when they dine at a local restaurant in Bishop Arts. read more

I love the milk chocolate they make here. It's so sweet and decadent. I tried a variety of truffles, but the only one that really blew me away was the fudge. I think that's my own personal preference, though. I'm not big on other flavors mixed into chocolate. The dulce de leche truffle was very unique, too. Oak Cliff also has Dude, Sweet Chocolates, but these chocolatiers are apples and oranges. DS has all dark-chocolate goodies which are heartier, but I have to give CocoAndre Chocolatier the number one spot because they have dark, white, and milk chocolates galore. The owner also took the time to introduce herself--her mother and sister are also joint owners. They are Oak Cliff natives, too. My favorite thing about the shop? They have tons of kitschy chocolate molds: high heels, Texas shaped, xoxo, chocolate purses, etc. So much fun, and it's currently decked out for VDay read more

This is just the sweetest little chocolate shop! About a month ago, CocoAndre moved from Davis street to West 7th, and the new location suits them. A classic white picket fence surrounds a green, well-manicured lawn--walk up the little stone path to a white cottage where the shop's name hangs above the door and the chalkboard easel boasts "hot chocolate flights". The interior is cool and quiet. Maybe a little too quiet; this location could benefit form some background music, something to cover your footsteps as they echo on the hardwood. But the staff is quite friendly, greeting you with a smile and offering a sample of chocolate (when we visited, it was pistachio coconut milk chocolate bark). We purchased two dark chocolate-dipped paletas--a steal for just $3 each. The Oreo paletas we selected had Maxfrut emblazoned on the stick, but the chocolate was all CocoAndre, and quite divine. We sat in their slightly barren seating area, a room off the main one that is entirely empty except for two little tables against the wall. Perhaps because it's a new location, they're still getting the place decorated, because that space is begging for more seating. We also shared two little toasted coconut milk truffles, delicious but small for $2. The truffle case is full of great flavors to choose from, and you can fill your own gift box (the smallest being 4 truffles for $8). There's plenty of pre-packaged chocolate as well, in the form of cowboy boots and high heels and little chocolate skulls (in honor of Halloween). A great place to get a delectable gift. When we had finished our (delicious, rich) paletas, we were dying for some water. The woman behind the counter went looking for some, but came back empty-handed and apologetic. So, the chocolate here is fantastic, and much-recommended, but if the shop wants to excel, it needs more seating, a little mood music, and maybe a drinking fountain. This place is rly quaint and unassuming upon arrival. It blends in to the housing around it and it has a nice outdoor seating area. They have free street parking around the location so it's pretty convenient. Inside the place you will find a boutique chocolatier and coffee shop. They make all their chocolate in house and they have shelves and shelves of their product. They have simple chocolate bars all the way up to chocolate high heels. I think the price is on bar with other small boutique stores and the quality is excellent. The staff here is friendly and will answer any questions u have. In the counter display shed they have tons of bonbons and some drinks for you to order. I think a big favorite of theirs is their horchata which I didn't try on this trip but will come back for later. They do not have space for indoor seating but they have 4-5 outdoor picnics tables for chilling and enjoying their sweets. Overall great experience and would love to come back! read more

This place is great! I ordered 45 dark chocolate cigars for a boy themed baby shower and they were perfect! Not only is the chocolate super delicious, they have so many unique and fun designs to choose from. I highly recommend CocoAndre! read more

Vegan chocolate available here! There's several good chocolate places in in the DFW area but this one stood out because they carry vegan chocolates. I was thrilled to discover this place. I wanted to do corporate gift giving of vegan chocolate packages and the staff here was extremely helpful. So many people are lactose sensitive or just prefer vegan. The vegan turtles and vegan bark is fabulous! The truffles are ridiculously good... loved the lavender truffle! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I will be back just because of the vegan options! read more

Great Little Spot To Cure you Sweet Tooth. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They enforce social distancing and provide hand sanitizer at the door before entering. They offer contactless payment methods which is great if you want to go in and out quickly. Make sure to check out their section with mexican keychains, cards, mugs and cute cards! read more

Are there any sugar free horchata drinks and chocolate options?
As far as I know, horchata can be made without sugar or it can be made with sugar substitutes. They have semi-sweet dark chocolate but not unsweetened. I would ask if they have diabetic-friendly options
