I was visiting the Dallas Farmers Market for the first time and after walking around for a while, we definitely needed a little pick-me-up. There are several coffee spots around the market, but this one always seemed busy, so it caught my attention. I ordered a regular iced latte with no flavoring because I'm always scared coffee places are going to make drinks super sweet, and I'm not really into that. The latte was actually really good though. I loved the taste of the coffee and it was exactly what I needed. My boyfriend got a pain au chocolat and it was SO good. I'm honestly sad I forgot to take a picture before we ate it. They also had a huge menu. I noticed breakfast items, sandwiches, pastries, and even customizable sodas where you could pick different syrup combinations with either Redbull or sparkling water. I'd definitely want to go back and try one of those. The line was pretty long the whole time we were there, which says a lot, honestly. I can totally see why people keep coming here. If you're around the Dallas Farmers Market, this is definitely a great spot to stop for coffee and a snack. read more

This place has no business being this good. We were walking through the indoor part of the farmers market and they had a huge line. I glanced over to see what the heck was causing this line and saw a line up of delicious pastries. I thought I deserved this little treat so I got in line. Best decision ever. That churro pastry is flaky and full of cinnamon sugar. I had to stop myself from being greedy. The jalapeño hot dog my husband said was better than any kolache he's had. I tried this cute coffee and pastry shop in the Dallas farmers market building this past weekend and I love it! I just went with my go to iced vanilla latte and I got a tiramisu croissant to go for my husband which he enjoyed. The price of the coffee was in line with most coffee shops and the service was friendly and quick. The pastries all looked so good I can't wait to come back and try some more! Came here because someone told me it was where I could get a breakfast taco and while they were correct, there is SO much more in this place! I was blown away by the baked goods in this place. They literally did not look real they looked so perfect and some so big. As tempted as I was, I was thankfully able to resist because I really do not need the sugar or the calories! I did get very nice and pleasant service from the gentleman at the counter. He was so nice and tolerant of all of us who were looking and trying to decide. In my case, I was also snapping pictures, please take a look at my photos to see the amazing looking goods they have ready to go for you! I just ordered the breakfast taco. The taco was good, not great. I think what threw me off a little was that it had mozzarella cheese on it, and in my mind mozzarella and eggs just don't go together. The ambiance here has a bit of a food court feel to it. Essentially you order and then take your food to find a table and eat. I cannot quit thinking about the baked goods here and will have to try them on my next visit to the Dallas Farmers Market! read more

I went ahead and ordered a Chocolate Croissant and my wife order two pastries: Strawberry cream Danish and Apple Danish. Pretty solid place in the farmers market! I got their iced raspberry biaco, a breakfast taco, and their cinnamon roll croissant. The raspberry coffee was good with a strong raspberry flavor which I enjoyed. The taco was bigger than I expected for 3 dollars, but it was more like a quesadilla the way it was flatten w/ the salsa verde which carriedddd the flavor. The pastries look sooo good but they're pretty average, I feel like mine had a bit too much icing in the middle. This is in a food hall at the farmers market in downtown Dallas. Inside has ac. This space has a bar of chairs and table. The workers are super nice and gave great recommendations. The goat cheese and bacon is very strong tasting and somewhat sweet so if you prefer more delicate , the almond croissant is a good alternative, it's creamy, nutty, and flaky. The drink is sweet and much to my liking. The parking, however, is a bit difficult. For a secured spot, you do need to park in a paid lot. I parked about a light away for around $14 for the day via QR code . The one closer was $8 am hour. There are free street parking but this can be hard to get. read more

The service here was great! They have such pretty pastries and a fairly wide selection. They are located inside the farmer's market food hall. Parking, just like for the rest of the market, is very accessible in the garage less than a block away with the first 2 hours for free so pretty feasible to stop in for pastries and head out. The big downside, and I don't know if it has to do with the timing of when we got our pastries, is that they do not taste like they look! Ours were very stale and we bought them right around noon. Maybe if we had gone earlier in the day it would have been better, but for a ~$10 pastry I expected fresher. read more

First off, this is a stall insides the Dallas Farmers Market, so parking is hard to find, usually paid, and it is quite crowded in the general Market. However if you are already nearby, or can get over that, I definitely recommend. I got the ham and cheese croissant, almond croissant, and strawberry and cream supreme, which they are seemingly famous for. The supreme was $10+ so I probably wouldn't order unless a special occasion, but it was definitely the standout star. The almond croissant was not quite as almond forward as I typically like so probably wouldn't order again. The croissant itself though had great consistency. I don't appreciate that they don't have prices listed for anything which, when accompanied by a long line with lots of people waiting for you to checkout, discourages people knowing how much they're paying for what. They also don't have a lot of seating, or silverware/napkins out. overall, if this was a standalone store, I would definitely go again. as is, I'll only pop in when i'm already headed to the DFM. 3.5/5 read more

Kinda disappointed in this place. Everyting looks good, but most of the pastries are kinda soggy and dont have much texture or crunch. From their croissant wheels to their breakfast tacos, theres not much flavor either. For being so popular (and expensive), I was hoping for alot more all around. I've tried this place a few times and I'll say the pastries are pretty decent, the one issue I have is that sometimes the bread will look and taste stale. I've also been a bit deterred from seeing flies land on the bread in the display case since the case doesn't have doors to close the bread in. However, drink wise I've only tried one drink, the maple latte, and it was delicious but I can't speak on other drinks. On the other hand, a great point are the workers who are always very nice while taking orders and handing out the drinks. read more

La 57 is inside of the food hall behind the Dallas Farmer's Market. It was a pleasant surprise! The bakery is so cute and the pastries all looked incredible. I picked an almond pain au chocolat, which was the best I've had in a long time, and a brownie, which was so dense and big and full of chocolate chips and yummy. I also got an iced creme brulee latte, which is definitely on the sweeter side but I didn't mind because I have a sweet tooth. Service is prompt and kind. The girl working this morning with glasses has a horrible attitude. I'm waiting patiently and several people getting their drinks late. I asked where's mine and I've been waiting here patiently. She tells me "well, I called it out". but she's in the back steady talking to another guy. There was a constant line on Sunday afternoon for this Farmers Market bakery. Got a brownie (nice sized portion), and almond croissant...Compared to Carte Blanche (closed) and Village Bakery, their almond croissant was not as flaky or crisp, almonds were nice and toasty, but the almond flavor on inside inside tasted like box pudding. Have not tried the brownie yet, but was not impressed with their croissant. Not sure if I'd return. Staff was friendly enough, and line moved pretty quickly. read more

This stand has such great appeal and potential but their processes need major attention. I've gone twice now and waited 30+ minutes for my order. The pastries seemingly are grab and warm up yet they take so long to come out. With that, my most recent order was cold and chorizo taco was 1/3 full. I asked for a reorder and was assured it was in the works, waited 20 more minutes and finally had to tell them I needed to leave and to cancel. At that point they said they never had my order up for reorder so I waited for nothing anyways. I was excited to finally have access to supreme croissants, which I've loved in other cities on vacation. There's a definite lack of care here. The outer layer was completely dried out. The frosting on top tasted like the canned stuff from the grocery store and was desiccated, rock hard. The filling was sickeningly sweet and artificial tasting. I don't know if the owners have never had a good version of a supreme croissant or if this is some kind of execution problem but I would be embarrassed if I was a business owner and this was my signature product. read more
