CocoAndre is a little hidden chocolate heaven. It's quite hidden and blends in with the other houses on the street, but once you walk in - it has an incredibly chic and homey interior. They had their barks to sample and I'm a HUGE lover of sea salt chocolates and they do it right at this place. I got a box of 6 truffles, a big and a small bag of bark, and an ice cream. I got the vanilla bean and dulce du leche ice cream. They put a chocolate lined cone on top! The vanilla bean was delicious and light but the dulce de leche was a lot creamier than I expected - still tasty though! Overall, super cute with a great variety of chocolate! Vegan hot chocolate costs TWICE as much ($4) as regular--but this fact is completely hidden on the non-transparent menu which displays only a single price ($2) for hot chocolate. The extra charge is fine, but it is not okay to hide this from customers (since if you are buying anything else it's extremely difficult to notice this upcharge). Setting expectations is cool--nasty surprises are not. read more

One of my favorite independent chocolatiers in Dallas. Located in the bishop arts area, a few blocks off of bishop street.. This chocolate shop is hidden in a cute little house. They offer great selections with cute shapes, figures and other designs. I always pick up chocolate pops for the holidays! Rabbits for Easter, shamrocks for st.patricks, ect. Also, the service girls are incredibly sweet. Wish they had longer hours, because sometimes it's a drive to get there, but it's worth it. Support local small businesses! read more

Super cool, small family owned business. Definitely worth checking it out. They had a huge variety of different truffles, chocolate and treats. We are vegan and they even had some vegan bars, chocolate covered marshmallows and oranges and a chocolate pistachio bark. The Vegan White Chocolate was the best I have ever had, The texture was creamy and not grainy and it was perfectly sweet. The quality of the chocolate is superb and you can tell before even taking a bite. You will not be disappointed by checking this place out, we need more places like this! read more

Always stop by this place when in the bishop arts area. They are located on David St so off the main road where all the shops are at but definitely worth the short walk down the road to get to them. The chocolate here is delicious and they make several chocolate shaped items (cowboy hats, boots, high heels, etc). Definitely great place if you are looking for some cute chocolate decorations or gifts. The last time we came we opted to try the Coffee and Oreo cookie Paletas. They offer individually wrapped bars of chocolate or fun molds in both dark and milk chocolate, plus decadent boxes of the more potent flavorful truffles. I love everything about this place although it has more of a boutique feel, meaning the prices can be a little out of range for some. Consider the quality of ingredients and artisty behind the place and the products they offer and it is so worth it. They also have children's chocolate classes, small vendor markets and stock shelves with small handmade gifts. Used this chocolatier recently to deliver a gift locally. Chose it because my friend (an Italian) prefers European style truffles which is what this shop is known for. Prices were reasonable and the gift was a big hit. There was a hiccup in delivery, but the shop was extremely responsive via phone and email and immediately rectified the situation. Their chocolates are great and they only have four flavors of ice cream but it is probably the next ice cream I've had in Dallas. Caramel lavender and chocolate ice cream is superb. I can't wait to go back and try the dulce de leche and Mexican vanilla. They also have many paleta flavors which I think are from the maxfruit company but the in house made chocolate they are dipped in is what makes them outrageous. read more

I bought a bag of the pecan turtle (vegan) but the caramel in the turtle was really hard and not fresh. Moreover I couldn't taste the nuttiness from the pecan. All I could taste was the dark chocolate. Maybe it was from a bad batch or it was just me, but the truffles were good. I wish the turtles were as good as the truffles cause it is really hard to find artisan turtles. read more

Since the C-19 quarantine, I have received two boxes of this wonderful chocolate (Milk Choc Turtles & Milk Choc Pistachio Bark) my cousin sent these (as this is one of her favorites places) and is fast becoming one of my favs! Everything I've ever had here has been fantastic. They mostly make truffle-style chocolates, but also make intricate designs like cowboys, Easter bunnies and high heel shoes out of a mix of white, dark and mild chocolate. While my husband is a frequent customer, Cindy still recommends new things she knows we'll love. It's important that you go in, sample all the delicious flavors. We wandered into Coco Andre when I had heard about them in D magazine... we fell in love with their chocolates and ended up working with Cindy to create some for our wedding! She created some beautiful custom chocolates we did as favors and also did some for reception. Don't even get me started on the chocolate covered strawberries... so tasty! We stop by every few months to pick up their pistachio bark ( I'm addicted) and get some fun seasonal chocolates :) they always have the most unique chocolate items: heels, hats, skulls, they even did little monogrammed champagne bottles for our wedding.
