I got one scoop of Thai coconut ice cream with sticky rice and mango as my toppings delicious combination, and the mango was perfectly sweet. Service was quick, especially considering there was only one worker on shift at the time. She did a fantastic job greeting everyone and keeping the vibe welcoming. The space inside isn't huge about 10 seats so it's more of a grab-and-go dessert spot. Music was playing in the background but not too loud, which added to the atmosphere. Really enjoyed it. 10/10, would recommend.
Finally an ice cream dessert that doesn't tear up your stomach we started supporting this company when they participated in the Asian markets . So happy when they opened up shop close by. A bit pricey but delish! Love all of the toppings.
This is a small place with not a lot of decor or seating but amazing coconut ice cream! I got a single scoop with mango and sticky rice, and it was the perfect size for a little dessert. The coconut ice cream is super creamy and nutty, the mango was perfectly ripe, and the sticky rice was very sticky and a little sweet. The service is fairly quick, though only one person was working so once a line started forming it slowed down a bit. The prices are a bit outrageous to me, as this one scoop with two toppings was over $10, and if you want the coconut bowl it's even more, but it is a very tasty and unique treat!
So fresh!! We were eating dinner downtown and decided to pop in and try it after seeing a ton of instagram reels about it. People were a little hesitant about the price in other reviews ($17) but it was well worth it! We all split the mango sticky rice ice cream bowl and were blown away by how delightful it was. The fresh coconut chunks had everyone fighting for bites! We will def go back!
Had Cococello once at a Mega Night Asian Market, & had to go try their new location on Central. With recommendations, I chose the coconut filled with two scoops of coconut ice cream, sweetened pineapple, palm seeds, & peanuts. It was so good and fresh. It's a bit pricey, but it's def so good and addicting and shareable! I will def come back to try more flavor combos! Love this Thai Coconut Ice cream and it's def a must try.

Yum! I'm a big fan of ice cream and I love coconut. The customer servicevwas great, friendly, and informative. The ice cream shop has a sophisticated look but mostly seats set up against the wall, like counter seating. The ice cream had great coconut flavor, it was also creamy but there were some random ice crystals that took away from the creaminess. The ice cream was served in a coconut bowl with stripes of fresh coconut. I went with stixky rice, sweetened pineapple, topped with salted peanuts and I think coconut cream. It was a great combo, the saltiness with fresh fruit and creamy coconut. Island flavors...soooo good. The price point is a little on the higher side so this will be a once in awhile treat.
Been dying to try this place and had the opportunity on a Saturday evening. The store front seemed to have no working AC so it was very hot inside. The young man working the front counter lacked knowledge of the menu such as referring to a topping as "tasteless and weird" yet admitting to of never tasted it himself. With tip I spent over $20 which I cannot justify as the ice cream itself tasted a little freezer burnt. The decor was very cute.
I went to Cococello with a friend. I love coconut, so I knew I was in for a treat. The ice cream was served in a half shell of coconut. I chose palm seeds and lychee as my toppings. I thought the ice cream was good, but not worth the price (around $18). As others have mentioned, the seating here is against the wall counter seating. It was pretty busy on the Saturday afternoon that we went. We had to wait a while before ordering so that we could secure a seat. It would be hard to order and take this ice cream to go since it doesn't have a natural lid. Don't forget to scoop up the coconut flesh when you're done with the ice cream!
This dessert place has been my favorite accidental find so far in STP! We were walking along on a Christmas walk and were surprised to see a bunch of people crowding around inside for ice cream. Everything tasted so fresh and they split up the sticky rice and mango topping for us so we got to try both! Ice cream is fresh and it's presented beautifully. A very light refreshing snack. Service was very friendly despite how busy and stressed they looked, prices are very fair for the quality that you get. Delicious!!
The Cococello storefront has been going absolutely viral, so my friend and I had to check it out for ourselves, and wow, this place is blowing up for a reason. This was the freshest dessert I've ever had. The coconut milk ice cream was perfectly, lightly sweetened. We both got mango, sticky rice and peanuts on top, in a shell with coconut shavings. Not only was it beautiful, but extremely refreshing, it really tastes as good as it looks. The spot was clean, and our orders were prepared quickly. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
This Thai coconut ice cream is excellent--creamy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. It's served in a traditional Thai style with a coconut shell and crispy cone, topped with palm seeds and sticky rice and an edible flower, which adds a beautiful touch. This place knocked my socks off! Ice cream was really flavorful of coconut and not too sweet. The toppings were fresh and paired well with the ice cream. Service was really good, the place is so clean and fragrant with the smell of fresh, sweet coconut. Such a gem and so unique!

While traveling in Florida, I found Cococello because of its many great reviews and beautiful ice cream photos. It's a small, clean, and adorable place with cute décor. The ice cream was delicious, sweet, but not overly sweet. It's also a nice spot to relax and hang out. I really wish they would open a location in Virginia! Definitely be backkkkkk! read more

The dessert was so good! I enjoyed the menu being small and concise to eliminate decision fatigue. The space is small and intimate. The bathroom is very clean. I came here with a friend after dinner and it was a good time. Parking is street only and is 2 hour free parking. Super convenient. I do wish they had better furniture because the bar area is a floating shelf and very flimsy when we set our stuff on top. The table near the front window was also flimsy, so eat at your own discretion. The owners said they opened five months ago and seem to be getting lots of local love considering my friend and I showed up an hour before closing and close to 20 people walked in within the final hour of business. read more

A one of a kind treat here in St Pete! Not only is it yummy and dairy free, it's also beautifully crafted. Makes treating yourself feel extra special. Great dessert spot. The price for a 2 scoop 2 topping bowl was $15, a little costly but split between two people was fine. Flavors were sweet but balanced, and traditional. Would come again! They also have matcha and thai tea floats and a bunch of other things. Really glad to have more asian dessert spots in the tampa bay area. read more

Cococello - A Taste of Thailand in Every Scoop Cococello is such a delightful treat! Their Thai ice cream served in a fresh coconut bowl instantly brought me back to the first time I tasted it in Singapore. You can choose between a cone or a coconut bowl, but I definitely prefer the coconut bowl -- it gives that authentic tropical flavor and makes the whole experience special. I had mine with durian, coconut jelly, and peanut toppings, while we also tried another one with mango, blue sticky rice, and peanuts, and the third with the same combo but topped with salted egg -- all were rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The ambiance is cozy and tropical, the presentation is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I won't complain -- you truly get what you pay for. The quality, texture, and unique Thai-inspired flavors make every bite absolutely worth it. read more

Love this little hidden gem! We've been to Thailand and LOVE their coconut ice cream and we were so glad to find this place that was authentic. The guy working the cashier was friendly and a boss running the place (taking and making the orders on his own)! The highlight was the sticky rice, if you get the coconut ice cream, definitely recommend adding it as a topping choice. read more
