Absolutely loved this bakery! If you're ever in St. Pete, do yourself a favor and stop by. We tried the crème brûlée cheesecake and honestly it was the best cheesecake I've ever had. You can truly taste the quality and care in everything they make. The owner bakes all of the pastries from scratch, and his wife is a herbalist who creates lattes with real ingredients that actually feel good for your body, not just loaded with junk and syrups. Such a unique and wholesome spot with amazing flavors and great people behind it. Definitely a 5 star experience and we will 100% be back!

Iced latte was $9 after tip and in my opinion not worth the price. Please dial in your espresso machine. Overall nice employees and the food could be worth stopping by for but didn't try!

Welcome to the neighborhood! What a cute and charming place and the owner and his wife are amazing. My friend and I stopped in and enjoyed mushroom lattes along with a spinach and feta croissant. We will definitely be back! Everything was so tasty. It's smaller on the inside with seating for about 12 people. As noted by others they also have several cookies, chips, crackers, and nuts from around the world. I look forward to going back. Enjoy!

I have been looking for a place in st Pete to sit, have a dessert/ pastry & coffee that wasn't too loud and had good food! I finally found it! Tiramisu Cinnamon roll - DYNAMITE. Kale salad with shrimp- lick the plate good. I also had a bite of my son's burger & my dad said his chef recommended lamb/beef burger was spectacular! They have indoor seating with snacks from around the world - great service and seriously delicious pastries!

This is THE BEST coffee & pastry shop in town! The owner, originally from Montenegro, is a professional chef and arrives early each day to bake fresh selections. Highly recommend!

Delicious newer addition to Central Avenue with French pastries, coffee, and tea. The food coming from the food truck in the back looks amazing and worth a second visit to check out. Service was quick and friendly without feeling effusive.

My mouth is WATERING! Look at those chocolate croissants!

This French bakery has been an absolutely godsend for the Grand Central District. I need everyone to go here so that it doesn't also become victimized by the landlords that apparently hate letting us have food options on this block. There is a sign on the counter describing the kind of butter and other gourmet ingredients that go into their incredible pastries. I'm literally writing this while savoring an enormous, flaky, absolutely transcendent chocolate croissant. The savory pastries are incredible. The eclairs are divine. They'll even make an affogato! (Though with ice cream instead of gelato. Still delicious!) The pastry chef is also really sweet and obviously takes great pride in his work. We're very lucky to have this place and I recommend it to everyoooone.

European style cafe. Limited pastry options and looks like all sharing the same dough. The croissant texture is more like a bread, do see the honeycomb though. Prices for the pastries are reasonable since this is downtown. The seating is comfortable and the deco is tasteful.

They also have a small gift shop with fun St. Pete souvenirs and locally inspired items, which was fun to browse while waiting for our drinks. They have a great variety of options, from coffee and Lotus energy drinks to bakery treats and other non-caffeinated drinks so there's really something for everyone. One of my favorite details was the little wine door inspired by the ones in Italy where you can actually knock and order wine through it! Such a unique and fun touch. I ended up getting a blueberry and coconut lotus energy drink which was super tasty. The whole area is worth exploring since there are a few other cute shops in the same hallway, making it a great place to spend a little time. The staff was incredibly kind and patient which made the experience even better. The saddest part is finding out they'll be moving out of this location. This little hallway gives the cafe so much character, and it's hard to imagine it anywhere else. I'm really glad I got to experience it before they either move or shut down completely:( Definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out by the end of August.

The Wooden Rooster: Where My Morning Got Its Life Together Before I Did…read more Listen... I came here expecting "just a crepe." What I got was a full-on personality upgrade. First off--the vibe. Somehow it's better than Kraft (yeah I said it), but like... calmer, cooler, and not screaming at you before coffee. It's peaceful, shady, low-noise... the kind of place where you feel like you should start journaling or making better life decisions. Now let's talk food. I ordered The B.E.A.S.T. and I'm not exaggerating when I say this thing deserves its own documentary. Bacon. Pesto. Sun-dried tomatoes. Eggs. It was like every breakfast all-star showed up and said, "Let's absolutely dominate this guy's morning." Perfect balance. Crispy, creamy, savory... I took one bite and immediately forgave myself for everything I've ever done wrong. And honestly? This is a WAY better place to start your morning than the bagel place down the street. You know the one. We've all settled for it. We don't have to live like that anymore. Also--huge shoutout to the service. These people were so nice I almost asked if they wanted to come manage my personal life too. Fast, friendly, and somehow still chill. Bonus points for the menu because where else can you go from a Nutty Joe dessert crepe to a Cubano crepe to a PB&J throwback without anyone questioning your life choices? Final verdict: If you're in downtown St. Pete and not coming here, you're making your mornings unnecessarily harder than they need to be. Wooden Rooster didn't just feed me-- it emotionally supported me.
