After enjoying some delicious Mexican food at Casita Taqueria, we had a serious churro craving that we KNEW we needed to fix. We went straight to Chiki Churros, a spot that is known for delicious freshly made on the spot churros as well as ice cream, drinks and milkshakes. They have a tv screen that leaves you drooling (like an eye appetizer - eye-petizer?) and while they're made and prepared right in front of you, your nose ends up going through a food comma with the cinnamon and sugar aroma while your eyes feast on all the toppings and fantasize about when YOUR turn to eat churros will be. Because we were so stuffed from our food, we only opted for the 6 pack of churros so we could enjoy one each with the two dips option. Naturally we chose Nutella as one of them and Dulce de leche for the other one. The churros were nice and warm and fried to perfection while the nutella did its thing a coated the outer layer of the churros as they got dunked into that little pool of delicious hazelnut spread and went straight to your taste buds so they can do a little happy dance. We loved our little dessert night cap at Chiki Churros and all the bright and colorful walls with churro wall of fame decor. Fun little spot to get your dessert fix, next time would love to get the mini churros with toppings - looks soooo good! read more

Been here a few times now for late night bites and it hits the spot every. time. I've gone with friends each time too and we're all in heaven after that first bite. Each time I've just gotten the 3 churros 1 dip combo for a well earned $6 (usually dulce de leche dip though I want to try the fudge next time as I'm not a huge nutella person but it feels like they should go with chocolate). There's actually a pretty extensive menu with lots of dips and toppings, ice cream, milkshakes, etc but I don't know how anything can be better than the classic formula. Churros always come out warm with a perfect crisp on the outside and soft inside. couldn't ask for anything more. Pretty small inside with some stools to sit on but they also have an outdoor area in the back with several tables. It can get a little crowded inside but usually I'm too distracted by the cinnamon sugar bliss to care. read more

Not only can you buy churros straight up with dipping sauces, but you can build your own churro sundaes *insert drool emoji*. Of course that's what we opted for. I'm normally a chocolate girl but I was drawn to the mango sauce. I paired it with vanilla ice cream (other flavors are an upcharge) and heath crumbles and it was delicious! The sundae comes with 2 churros and whipped cream so its a robust lil treat, I got the smaller size and it was PLENTY. The churros themselves were a bit firmer than I'm used to but I actually enjoyed that more than the super airy ones and they grabbed the cinnamon sugar well. We waited 25 minutes and people started complaining that others were getting food who ordered later. We said about our order and turns out our order was just sitting back there getting cold. Churros were a let down. Inside was not light or airy, way too condensed and were raw in the inside. Sauces were okay, the dulce de leche was much better than the fudge. There were so many trays of pre made churros all throughout the bar area and were not covered or anything, kinda gross. Nothing special, wouldn't recommend. read more

One of my favorite places to take my friends when they're in town. Walking straight in, there's a bar to sit at which also is the place you order at. The decor is very quirky and well, cheeky ;) As for the churros themselves, they are the most comparable churros to the ones I had in Valladolid, Mexico. Perfect in size, crispy on the outside and not much dough on the inside which is exactly how I like my churros. They have quite a bit of options for dipping sauces. My favorites are the dulce de leche & caramel. Every time I've been here, they have been freshly fried so no pre-fried soggy churros here! I come here quite often and always end up getting the standard churro, but I sworn to myself I'll try something else next time. It's kind of hard to make a detailed review about a cute little restaurant that makes churros. The quick and simple take... They make churros. And they're good. My wife and I went out to dinner and we were in the mood for a dessert snack... And that's when I spotted a restaurant (one I probably walked past before) that I never really paid attention to. It had a bright pink sign that stood out from the crowd and lo and behold they sell churros. I love churros. I remember this spot used to sell grilled cheese sandwiches... I guess they went out of business. Thankfully the smell of fried grilled cheese sandwiches did not permeate the walls of this establishment. The restaurant is cute. Small, but cute. They sell multiple snacks... but most importantly they sell churros. My wife and I ordered a six pack of churros and got two dipping sauces with it. I ordered the Nutella and my wife ordered cinnamon dolce. She made the better choice... The dolce dipping sauce was really good. The churros are definitely made to order because it took several minutes. I was actually surprised how long it took since there really wasn't anybody else in the shop. The staff was super nice and friendly. All in all, I give the restaurant five stars because they sell good churros and they're a churro restaurant. read more

What a fun little spot :)) Stumbled across this place after a late night dinner, looking for a sweet treat. This dessert bar is in a really great location - next to many other restaurants/shops and a good area to walk. The inside is small, but if you explore a little bit, there is a seating area outside in the back that is super cute!! This is a constructive review. A/C was out. We walked in and there was the girl attendant talking to a guy but he was not ordering anything they were just talking. It took a while for her to notice us and ask us if we were ready. We ordered an ice cream and some churros to go. She served the ice cream and told me it would take about five minutes for the churros to be ready. While we where there all the time she kept using her phone and she was too distracted. Once the churros were ready she forgot that I had asked they were to go and just served them on a small paper tray and did not packed them properly. Also instead of bringing the churros to me; she took them to the guy. Then she realized they were for me turned around and said sorry. So for customer service I have to say it really needs to be improved. I waited till I got home to eat the churros and they were ok I guess. But will not go back chiki churros again! read more

The young man, the only person in the shop, was dressed very unprofessionally, with his pants sagging so low he might as well not have even worn them. Mid experience at best. Kinda of grossed out by the experience. The employee who started making my food stopped halfway through and left it on the counter and without saying anything, sits on top of the other side of the counter and starts eating his own ice cream...
