Located inside the Mandalay Bay Shoppes, near the end where the escalators and elevator take you to Luxor. You see the freezer full of gelato before you see the small seating area and counter with the cash register. More seating is available outside Cocolini by the escalators. The print on the menu is quite small, but I think we got swept up in the excitement of choosing a gelato flavor to remember go look for the prices, but it's okay because we were on vacation and spending some casino winnings on our delicious treats. FYI: No free samples. They scoop and serve your gelato, and then you bring it to the cash register. You can also order a hot beverage here. I was totally amused when I saw this Gelato place at the Venetian. I like the way they segregated the fruity flavors from the non fruity ones. I'm always in for the fruity flavors. Tried my fav Banana and mango scoops. I could eat them all day if I was allowed. Yum and refreshing. The quality felt great. I tasted pomegranate for the first time and it wasn't disappointing either, but just not my first choice. Overall very very happy, I absolutely recommend it to vegas explorers. read more

Rude cashier with the glasses , I ordered a hazelnut chocolate ice cream, but the girl did not clean her utensils so my ice cream tasted like mint, which I hate mint, and I tried to tell the cashier and she just acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and made me feel really dumb instead of just saying hey do you want me to replace it or I will correct the behavior of the employee so very embarrassing never going back! read more

We left NYNY hotel and the Hershey Chocolate World ice cream counter there to go to Mandalay Bay hotel where beautiful gelato was seen early in the day. Gotta say, this was so disappointing. I came with 2 others as part of our fun evening on the strip and the gelato had looked beautiful that afternoon. The 3 of us ordered medium cones- one S'mores, one espresso and one mint chocolate chip. We all ordered mediums which were almost $8.00 each. There are 2 scoops in a medium and I asked for 2 different flavors. The answer was a resounding NO, they would not do one scoop of one flavor and one of another. To be honest, it didn't taste great. Gelato is supposed to be rich and creamy. My mint chocolate chip was icy , not creamy. Overpowering mint with very little chocolate. Neither of the other ice cream eaters were too pleased with their choices. The server was none too friendly and to top it all off, my sister didn't question it when the bill was almost $34.00. So, overcharged, inferior product. Just plain bad choice. So if you're in the Mandalay Bay hotel in Vegas, on the casino level, and you see Chocolini, go somewhere else. Just okay. We ordered butter pecan gelato, churro gelato, and an almond croissant. The churro gelato had nuts in it, that was unexpected, and the croissant was incredibly dry. Service was fast, and the person serving us was friendly. read more

The service here is terrible. The workers were Very slow, and not helpful. There were a few groups in line, and because of this they were only serving gelato - nothing else on the menu. And even with that, no cones and half of the flavors were out, melting, or mixed into other flavors. We won't be back! read more

I'd suggest walking further and finding elsewhere to purchase anything. I went with my siblings, they got their order AND finished their food and I still hadn't got my food. I went and got in line again, a long line I might add, and still hadn't even got started on the frozen egg breakfast sandwich. None of the three people working there put this sandwich in wherever it is they take it from frozen to a product they give to customers. I ate here more than I would like to admit to. Here's the other problem, there is one of these little stores around every corner in every casino/hotel you go to. We would just stop and say its gelato time no matter what time it was. Morning noon or night, its gelato time. I had a few flavors, salted caramel was out of this world. I had a dabble of the praline, which was very good. My other go to was the pistachio. Goodness gracious do I love a pistachio. The kids loved the chocolate. That was their go to mostly. We couldn't help ourselves. The gelato is really good. That was all we had. I really have zero complaints about any of the multitude of locations we visited. They have so many different flavors to choose from, the sizes very from small - large, they offer if you want it in a cone or bowl, and they are very generous (portion wise) They offer cash or card & the staff is all friendly. We were just in Vegas on Oct 14, 2023 and stopped here for gelato at the Excalibur location. I ordered the Bacio and we walked back to our hotel. When we got to the bottom of the ice cream, my husband felt something hard in his mouth. There were pieces of glass in the gelato! He went back to find that the tempered glass on the enclosure had broke and someone had tried to tape it, but shards of glass had fallen in the ice cream. He took a video but I have a photo of the glass. My children, myself and my husband had all had a few bites of this ice cream and have been worried we ingested glass. wrote corporate to let them know and they haven't written me back. Beyoncé concert goers in line to order gelato and possibly the Sup/Mgr came out to turned off the lights to all the cases and told everyone they're closed. Before was able to step out, the Sup/Mgr started lowering their gate. RUDE As he removed the gelato tubs from the case, he wasn't even wearing any gloves. read more

Does this place knock your socks off or have you thinking it's made from a secret Italian family recipe? NO.... Buuuuuuut for being in a casino (we ate at the one in Excalibur) it was pretty good and the price was high but not outrageous - get the medium - it's only a couple more bucks for another scoop! You do have to walk down the stairs to the arcade to find tables and chairs but it's quite close by. The ladies working were very friendly, very clean appearance and well maintained. This business advertises Gelato, coffee and crepes. Crepes are not an every day thing, so I was looking forward to having one for dessert one evening. We showed up to order about 9:30pm and were told THEY WERE NOT DOING CREPES BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY!!! OMG, too busy to make one of their advertised products? You've got to be kidding me. Cocolini's ice cream is delicious. We tried the mango and strawberry sorbets, and they were tasty. You can really taste the natural fruits in the sorbets. What a difference a cashier makes... If I could give this ZERO Stars I would! Visited Mandalay Bay in July and ate crepes almost every morning at Cocolini. The cashier we had then was super friendly and attentive. The crepes were amazing! This week we are at NY NY and we walked all the way over to Mandalay specifically for our crepes. We couldn't have been more DISAPPOINTED in the cashier whose name she said was Diane. She was nasty and very unprofessional. She gave my husband whipped cream and failed to put any on mine. I figured she forgot. I went up with my crepes to have her put some on mine and she was rude and condescending. I truly did not expect this kind of attitude! And then stated that with she finished the whipped cream when she put some on my husbands crepes and needed to make more and I was going to have to wait! I was fine with waiting a few minutes, however she then proceeded to take about 11 other customers while I stood there literally waiting over 10 minutes!! While I waited another customer came up and ordered a coffee and he too noticed I was standing there and asked me if I had ordered and I told him I had been waiting for my whipped cream. He then told her to take care of me before his coffee, still she didn't do it! Terrible worker! My crepes were cold by the time she decided to make more. So unprofessional!We will never go back to this specific location again. She needs to be retrained in costumer service!! It probably looked better before I carried it around. But, they're just not that good at crepes. It should be lighter, fluffier, almost thin pancake rather than a sheet of rubberiness. Oh well, individual tastes, I guess. I did have the gelato at a LV Strip location of this chain last night and THAT was good. Plusses: a sliced banana was fresh and they did give me work knife and napkins. Minuses: I don't know how often they actually make the crepes fresh, but it's not often enough for me. I'm in it to restore the twinkle in my eye that this cruel, cruel world took from me a long time ago and to that end, I've literally had coffee that tasted like a cat's ass and enjoyed it. Some other spots in town have similar offerings and may be doing a better job at it. I ordered the J2. Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago ($13.95) to share in our group. There was a wide variety of ingredients, generally tasting quite good. The actual mango fruit was soft and super sweet, there was perhaps a coconut jelly topping that was also nice, as well as a coconut ice that felt snowy in texture, a mango custard, and a decent helping of sago near the bottom. However, I wish that the mango ice cream wasn't so hard and icy, and I was disappointed later to realize that we didn't get any pomelo at all. I really enjoyed the pomelo the last time I had a similar dessert. The dining area did seem pretty clean at least, and they offered complimentary cups of water for each of us after I requested it. Napkins are cheap but freely available, and spoons are pretty sturdy despite being disposable plastic. Maybe I'll come back to this Hui Lau Shan location if I'm around Spring Mountain and find myself really craving their brand of desserts. But I'd prioritize different businesses if I were planning a trip.

It's been a while…read more.. Suzuya has been authentic Japanese patisserie in Las Vegas for years!! After they renewed the shop and relocated to current location, the ambient is modern and have welcoming vibes! Not so huge, but they have many seats available. And we order at the cashier. so easy process. The drink I ordered was Hojicha Latte. It was delicious!! As I went after the lunch I didn't have enough room for crapes... Can't wait to try some!!

The staff was super sweet and advised us to take all the time we needed in deciding and another benefit of the lack of line was no guilt in asking to try a few different flavors to ensure we were making the best decision possible for our money. I went with a salted caramel shake (sans whipped cream because that's a scam) and it was divine. There's a good chance I've had this flavor already but why mess with perfection? An area of opportunity? The small tables to hold your confections were all dirty when we stopped in, a faux pas for the price and that it wasn't busy before, during, and after our time there.

She was by herself. It was at a very late hour so no lines at the time. It was a quick visit for me. There aren't any seating at this gelato stand. However, you may sit at the New York New York food hall dining area (if seats are available) to enjoy your gelato. I will definitely return here for more OC and M the next time I'm at NY NY.
