The cashier never offered them a refill. I thought that was very nice of her. Food like different sandwiches are prepared very quickly. Having a danish or pastry item and coffee here in the morning is really nice. There are tables and chairs just outside of the café. In a very large Grand hallway nearest the fine arts collection. You can sit there and enjoy your food and drink. It is very simple small café offering just the right amount of items and different types of items. During one visit to get gelato, we ordered a small cup. We were able to get two flavors. We got pistachio and chocolate. That was a great combination. Then, the second visit, we ordered the sugar-free chocolate and banana toffee. That was also a very good combination. Their flavors are delicious. I honestly haven't had a bad flavor at Salt and Straw. I love how they always have super unique flavors, whether it's a seasonal flavor or not. This location is pretty nice. Large and spacious. They have the classic selection of Salt and Straw merch available. Waffle cone scented candle, anyone? There is a bit of bench seating indoors, which is unique for Salt and Straw locations as they typically have no seating. 100% worth checking out, especially on a hot Vegas day, which is most of the days. This is the location attached to (but not accessible from) The Flamingo. And the answer is a resounding "yes!" While the prices are about as scary as you might expect on The Strip, the ice cream is as good as Orlando and we lucked out that there wasn't a crazy long line, which is what I am used to in Florida. The staff was super sweet and advised us to take all the time we needed in deciding and another benefit of the lack of line was no guilt in asking to try a few different flavors to ensure we were making the best decision possible for our money. I went with a salted caramel shake (sans whipped cream because that's a scam) and it was divine. There's a good chance I've had this flavor already but why mess with perfection? An area of opportunity? The small tables to hold your confections were all dirty when we stopped in, a faux pas for the price and that it wasn't busy before, during, and after our time there.

There weren't too many gelato flavors to choose from, but it was good enough. They had two of my favorite bright colored flavors, orange cream and mango. I've never seen orange cream in gelato form so this was a nice sweet treat for me. I got a small cup that comes with two small scoops. Wished the scoops were bigger and more rounded though especially when it costs $8.95 plus tax... almost $10. Knocking off 1 star for it. But then again it's gelato not ice cream. Cost justified? You be the judge of that. Wow, both flavors were amazingly good! Sweetness was not overly sweet and not underly sweet... just perfect! Texture of the orange cream was a lot smoother than the mango IMHO. You can tell just by looking at it. Nevertheless, both flavors were gelato-ly on point! The lady staff was friendly and nice. She was by herself. It was at a very late hour so no lines at the time. It was a quick visit for me. There aren't any seating at this gelato stand. The chocolate wrapped around it was a nice finishing touch of flavor with the mousse. It wasn't overly sweet. Just perfect! I truly enjoyed it! I've been to independent boutique chocolate shops before, but this one was priced even higher than others, likely due to its strip location. There is also no seating inside, but plenty in the casino. I ended up grabbing one of their cookies. It was double chocolate and reasonably priced. It was loaded with chocolate and was incredibly rich all the way through. The guy working the front counter was super nice and chill. He chatted with me for a while after my purchase. Next time I'd like to grab a sipping chocolate, as it seems like that's a speciality of theirs here. Overall, a great chocolate shop if you're willing to spend more than typical.

Give it a lil stir to balance the espresso and chocolate. Comes with a marshmallow and a lil cookie. You can also get more marshmallows up front as well. Their pastries were alright. More pretty than tasty IMO. Love their chocolate bars and treats. Pricey, but so good. I've also tried their hot chocolate powders since they have flavors such as hojicha hot chocolate and chai hot chocolate. The flavors are a bit subtle, but tasty.
