The burgers were alright--the best part was that the buns are grilled fresh and come out a little crispy inside. While Hat Creek may not be trying to compete with gourmet burger restaurants, it delivers a quality product in a casual and family-friendly environment. One of Hat Creek's biggest strengths is its outdoor play area. The restaurant clearly caters to families with young children, and the play space gives parents a chance to relax while the kids burn off some energy. It's a feature that sets Hat Creek apart from many other burger restaurants. Overall, I get the sense that management genuinely wants to provide a good customer experience. My advice would be to continue investing in employees because great team members are what ultimately create the experience customers remember. Very tiny burger for $10... both burgers were not seasoned at all. The patties just tasted like meat. No flavor whatsoever. Unfortunately, I will never be able to talk him into going there again and will continue going to the location I frequent that seasons their meat.
