Delicious food and service. Once you approach their window, they are very friendly and notify you when the food is ready. Everything was delicious. We ordered each bomb flavor, two entries, and beef patties. Everything was delicious, and I recommend stopping by to grab your delicious authentic Jamaican dishes.

They were all outside talking, and all the women kept on telling me was it will be another 10 more minutes. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but this one did it in for me. I was in a hurry today so I decided on getting their spicy beef Pattie and coco bread. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and when I asked about if they had any coco bread left, he said there was plenty and made my order fresh and delicious. Some other restaurants will tell you that they are out and that's the staple of Caribbean cuisine. Have to get yourself a beef pattie with coco bread and let the flavors take you on a journey to heaven. Freshly made coco bread always goes perfectly with the flakey, spicy, and down right delicious beef Pattie. Definitely will be coming back for the oxtail and curry

Price - ~$75 (appetizer, entree, drink, tip) Food - 2/5 - lacking for the price. Drinks were lacking. Service - 4/5 - friendly and on point. Ambiance - 4/5 - cool vibe inside with rooftop. Overall - 3/5 - did just about everything right except the food. Service was great. Waitress was very friendly, gave recommendations, and fun to have around. Inside of restaurant had a cool vibe and was nice to be in. Rooftop was awesome and the highlight. Unfortunately the food fell short. For the price, it was pretty lacking in taste. Portion were ok but the food was all pretty lackluster. Mussels had curry in them but could barely taste it. Tacos were pretty bland. The drinks barely had alcohol in them? They tasted fine but had 2 drinks and barely felt a thing (I know my tolerance). Unfortunate on the food when it came to here. Likely would not return. Best Dish - None to note Would Return - Probably not

My wife and I arrived early on a Tuesday evening and reservations were not necessary. Upon entering, we were promptly seated. Shortly thereafter, a basket of corn tortilla chips arrived with a mild dipping sauce. I cannot attest to the dip, however, the chips were warm, lightly salted, and crispy. For an appetizer we ordered fried calamari. As an entree, I chose the Don Quijote Mixed Grill. This consists in marinated grilled skirt steak, pork loin, chicken breast, Latin sausage, tostones, white rice, and pinto beans. I substituted additional white rice for the pinto beans. The calamari arrived hot and they were delicious. Definitely to be shared by two. My entree arrived sizzling on a flat iron grill. Everything was delicious. I enjoy a hearty meal, but I could not finish the abundance of excellent food on my plate. Of course I grew a desert appetite so I ordered the fudge chocolate cake and a decaffeinated cappuccino. Both the cake and the cappuccino were excellent. My only negative comment was that I received a fatty cut of pork. Notwithstanding this, I would still give the restaurant six stars if I could. This is how good the food was. Takeaways 1. Reservations not needed mid-week. 2. Abundant parking. 3. Excellent service. 4. Fantastic food. 5. Great service. 6. Superb portion to price. I asked my spouse. Ordered chile rellenos, the three taco meal, and had a pork belly appetizer that we shared between us. Took most of it home, and I have to say, I love Mexican/Latin food, but this was the blandest selection of food I have had since trying a can of Amy's vegetarian Tom Kha soup. Amy sucks every last bit of flavor, joy and life from Thai cuisine, and while the food at Don Quixote wasn't depressing, it lacked what I expect from Latin food: A little spice, some savor, cultural pride maybe. I guess that's why we hadn't been back. But, if you look at reviews, most others seem to like it pretty well, so you'll have to decide for yourself. I may have been there too early, just as the kitchen was warming up, or maybe just an "off" day. Your experience may vary.
