We ended up purchasing the regular coconut jelly and chocolate hazelnut coconut jelly. The regular coconut jelly I enjoy mixing with my morning yogurt bowl - the coconut flavor is strong and creamy. We tried the chocolate hazelnut flavor as a dessert. This one was just OK... It gives similar vibes to ice cream, but I could not taste any hazelnut, just chocolate. Coconut Jelly King is a really cute dessert shop concept, but it can be on the pricier side. Many of the desserts are also not completely dairy free. Make sure to ask if you have any dairy related concerns! One of my friends who has a dairy allergy (not lactose intolerance--an actual allergy) almost got a dessert with dairy in it. It was good she verified before ordering. Staff is so friendly, so don't be afraid to ask questions :) My partner and I got the chocolate hazelnut coconut jelly and black rice coconut jelly. I loved the chocolate hazelnut one! It tastes like a lighter chocolate pudding. You won't feel heavy after eating it. It also was just the right amount of sweetness, but the chocolate does mask the coconut flavor if you were looking for that. The black rice coconut jelly was also good, but the texture of the rice does get a little tough in the cold dessert. You can keep the jars too once you're done. I did sign up for rewards, but within a day after signing up, I got spammed with scam texts and calls :( it looks like an issue with whoever they're using for their reward systems vendor. I finally got to stop by and see what this place was alllll about! We stopped by at 8pm on a weeknight and we were the only two customers there. The employee quickly let us know to order when ready and gave us time to look over the menu. We ordered: One egg bubble waffle One mango pomelo sago One coconut milk mango sago. Total was about $30 including a tip. We sat down and all the tables seemed to be dirty. The table we sat at had crumbs and was very sticky. The décor inside is beautiful and the colors all go well together. The lighting was also another thing that caught our attention and the light fixtures are gorgeous. As soon as we sat down, people started trickling in and it got be very loud and busy. A few people had to go orders and some stayed to dine in. Our order was finally ready - about 15 minutes later and the employee called it out. It was very hard to hear her since she was very soft spoken or maybe she was just shy. The treats were delicious. I definitely recommend the egg bubble waffle and the mango pomelo sago. Those two were really good and very different then anything I have ever had. The mango coconut milk drink wasn't really our favorite as it was a little bitter and not sweet.. Overall can't wait to be back. It was very cute inside and we enjoyed what we had to eat. read more

Let me start off by saying that I'm usually not a big fan of anything coconut in general, but my friend recommended this place to me to try out and I'm always willing to try anything once. Fast forward to multiple visits later and let's just say that I'm now a fan of how they make their coconut jelly. What I really like about their desserts is that the coconut flavor and aroma isn't too strong, which is what typically puts me off coconut to begin with. When we initially tried the jelly, we were thinking the texture would be something closer to the firmness of almond agar, so we were really surprised when we found out the jelly was soft and a bit watery. Not necessarily bad, just pleasantly different. Out of all the different items we have tried so far, I would have to say my favorites are the strawberry coconut jelly and the mango pancake. The strawberry coconut jelly is a safe option that you just can't go wrong with. The combination of textures between the strawberries and coconut jelly was just really pleasing for me. Additionally, the mango pancake was perfectly light and airy with just a hint of sweetness. Side note, I'm a huge mango lover and I would have said the mango coconut jelly, or even the mango pomelo sago would be one of my favorites. However, I've had their mango items a few times and it's never consistent. Sometimes the mango can be way too sour and other times it'll be sweet but not as sweet as I'd like my mangos to be. Overall, I would recommend this place if you wanted to try something different, or if you like desserts that aren't too sweet, but are instead light, refreshing, and on the "healthier" side. All the staff I've encountered so far have been friendly, helpful, and fast in getting orders out in a timely manner.
