Don't waste your money here they will rip you off and won't work with air bnb or even attempt to make things right. Black mold in the unit, cockroaches, feces stains on the couch, the floors were filthy and the place smelled like mold. They would even refund a percentage and I didn't even stay!!! My family was in the room for 2 hours and left because of how bad it was! The people didn't offer to fix this, and even with air bnb stepping in they wouldn't help. This is truly a beautiful place. I reserved this in December for end Jan. Wow nice nice nice. We were 4 folks with a tWo bedroOm place, 2 baths. We were by the pool and hot tub for a view. They haD all the amenities liquid soaps in the shower and sink area, pot and pans , coffee maker & blender! Woo hoo. We went in the pool and hot tub daily after all day wandering arounD the city. It was relaxing. The outside open style bar was great too. It wasn't eVen loud on a Friday. Very nice I would stay here again. I did laundry there as well very reasonable too. The balcony was good with 4 chairs and a Glass table.. prob for smokers. But we all don't smoke. read more

We had a great time during our stay. The pool was great, room was clean. And the location was perfect. We rented boats at the marina across the bridge and loved being able to see the hotel as we boated out to the sandbars. Quick Uber into downtown without dealing with the traffic and noise that come along with that area. The small bar they had out by the docks was the perfect place to come back to for one last cold beer. When we checked out I didn't realize I left behind a GoPro and some cash and the hotel called me to let me know they found it and mailed it back. Thank you Yadira and Rae for getting it back when I didn't even realize I left it. Can't wait to be back and will definitely stay here again. read more

First the resort / room: The good: The resort was great. They have two pools one being adult only 9a-12p. There is covered parking, and beautiful views of wildlife at pool and at the marina. Rooms were cleanish hair in a lot of places. Not so good: We got a golf cart for a easier way to get around. We found out if you are not a owner you have to pay an extra 150 dollars for an extra parking pass even though there is plenty of room for parking. Also if you get an electric golf cart you CAN NOT charge it her. Not really negative but they should publish that information so we could have planned ahead. Gumbo's Bar at the marina. Hands down the best place to end your night. The bartender Brandy is an amazing bartender and host. They do have hot dogs but my suggestion is to get with Brandy and she will tell you all the places you can get delivered! The marine life at the docks are amazing. Manatees, sharks, smaller fish, barracudas, starfish, and much more. If you want a way to spend your night this is the place! read more

A lot of people give coconut Mallory a decent amount of flack. As a user if my dads time share maybe i have lower expectations Yet for a timeshare. . Cheaper rental the coconut Mallory is a solid option. The rooms are nice size and ours was two bedroom with a kitchen (1st floor) and two bedrooms/2 baths upstairs. The pool (in march) was nice and warm - though in January the pool has been pretty cool. They don't "refresh" rooms for you . .which isn't a problem for me . . But the biggest dig /problem was the towel policy. You could only get new towels once during your stay (7 days). What was worse is that the day was not in the middle but Wednesday (checked-in on Friday). It was an absurd policy. . .the old policy worked better (two days tues/Thursday) but if you pick one day.. you should still have it more in the middle of a stay than at the end. We always rent bikes. . .(Eaton actually not coconut Mallory) and then bike around the island. Pretty easy to do. . .just head right out of the resort and bike down to Duval. Not sure about their area recommendations. We decided on one of their fishing charter recommendations. . .and just found it "okay " read more

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The bar staff was friendly. Easy check in and out. We met the manager Nani. She was very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful conversation with her. Having a laundry area available was awesome. We were able to wash and dry our swim suits and towels. We were pleasantly surprised that the showers were supplied with shampoo. Rinse. Body wash and lotion. That was nice. The entire unit was clean and kept up. Great kitchen area. Fully supplied with dish soap pans utensils silverware all the tools needed for cooking our own meals. The bar staff was friendly and they also had a lot of games that I could see for the children. The pool area was well maintained and very clean. We hope to come back and stay again. read more

Place was just fine. I did not see roaches or insects running about. Spacious 2 bedroom condo was great. The location is ideal. Not Downtown. Not up on the Gulf side which is overcrowded. You can get Downtown easily on the shuttle at The Marriott a few blocks North if you plan on drinking...A LOT. This place has two pools, Gas and Charcoal Grills and The Boathouse Bar right on the premises. Beaches are less than 5 minutes away. This resort is QUIET. You can raise all the Hell you want on Duval Street and get the Hell away!!! I have ZERO complaints about my stay. Things can be modernized as an improvement. I really enjoyed my stay. This place is no frills but good enough for us. We stayed here a few years ago and it looks like it could use some improvements such as new carpet and better door handles , but not too bad as long as you aren't super picky . Staff are nice and the boathouse bar is really a cool little spot . I am happy we stayed and would be happy to return again . It's our 2nd day of our Easter week vacation in Key West, So far we are very impressed with the accommodations!! We're staying in a 2 bedroom unit, the Condo is very spacious, clean and comfortable!! I booked using Our Travel membership we belong to so our price for the week is unbeatable, however it's not general public pricing so I can't comment as to wether the resort rates are expensive or inexpensive. We were here in January 2020 and it was the perfect setting. Quiet, away from the hustle of Duval but a quick Uber drive there. Noni was our front desk concierge and she was fantastic! Was disappointed to learn when we returned recently that she was not longer there. This property is clean, has an on-site bar right on the water and has two pools. All of the personnel are extremely accommodating! Thanks Jenny for the "local" tips, your guys are great! The only thing that would make this better is if you served food at the bar. read more

Stayed here last summer for a family trip and with three adults and two teenage boys it was one of the few places where we could all stay in one place together vs separate hotel rooms. I was a little leery because the reviews weren't awesome, but we had the most AMAZING time here. The condo we stayed in was gorgeous, granite countertops, lovely furnishings, very clean. The fans and A/C kept the humidity down and the whole place cool. Two bed, two bath. One bed had an attached master bath with a beautiful shower and separate Jacuzzi tub. A separate kitchen table seating 6 and outdoor table on the balcony seating 4, big couch and living room seating gave us plenty of space to spread out and decompress. Having a washer/dryer and dishwasher and full-size refrigerator made traveling with a group so convenient. I was also concerned about being on the second floor because my grandfather can't traverse stairs very easily these days, but the property has elevators. We didn't spend much time at the property but it has two lovely pools that were empty the whole time we saw them and a cute little tiki bar. Our condo overlooked one of the pools. The place was completely quiet, despite being super close to Key West. While it's not directly IN Key West, so you do have drive/cab about 15 minutes to get to Mallory Square and pay about $25/day to park, we thought it was completely worth it and the best of both worlds. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. Really loved staying here, can't wait to come back! read more

This is our 3rd time staying here. It is starting to look a little dated, but we always enjoy Key West. We were suppose to get linen exchange on Thur. So we left our towels inside like we were instructed, but it never happened. So I went into the office and they said they would take care of it. Nope still didnt happen. We did find a cockroach in the master bathroom, just before check out. So when we checked out I was going to tell the clerk about it but she was on the phone with a personal and couldnt be bothered. We stayed in Unit 411, which was spacious and nicely decorated. It came with two bikes to use during our stay. The pool is just steps away. There is no noise from our next door neighbor. The cost was less than a hotel room. We were very happy with this booking that we did online using VRBO. The owner, Steve was great to work with. We would stay here again. Great property, check in and check out was easy. The marina is nice, we seen starfish and leopard stingrays swimming around as well as lots of cool fish. Rooms were mostly clean. The headboards could be dusted better and the ants could be dealt with a little better inside, but overall it was great for our family! I would stay here again. read more

A large group of my friends and family stayed here over the 4th of July (2015) weekend and had a BLAST! For starters, we were immediately and graciously greeted by Noni at the front desk. She was BY FAR the best front desk/concierge person I have EVER dealt with. She gave us suggestions, gave us directions, provided us with information about things that were going on, in and around the property. We had a small "issue" with some people in our group, and Noni and the team in the office (two ladies...sorry, I forgot their names) handled it right away. The room choice Noni suggested to us was different than what I had originally booked; but her suggestion was so much better! It was upstairs & downstairs, 2- bedroom/2-bathroom, living room w/ pull-out couch, and full kitchen. Our unit was clean and we didn't encounter any roaches. I will definitely be returning. I had reserved a full refrigerator, kitchen, living room, fold out sofa bed condo for 3 nights in May 2016. I had made the reservation 6 months in advance assuming that the rental would match the room details. This was my second stay at the Coconut Mallory. My 1st stay in 2014 did match the rental details of a full refrigerator, living room, bedroom, and fold out couch. However this time it was a case of bait and switch. Coconut Mallory manager Carrie Olasin said that studio Unit 402 with a bed and mini fridge was all that was available for my stay even though it did not match what I had paid for. She stated that it was my fault for booking through a third party and my situation "was unfortunate." In my opinion, a more experienced manager would not have been so rude and unwilling to resolve the problem. read more

We wanted to book a time share due to the connivence of a fridge, washer n dryer and to cook small and simple meals. We had booked this resort four months in advance, five days prior to arrival my husband and i wanted to stay an extra night, he had called the resort to book an extra night, they said they could accommodate it. When we finally got there they said,"they were booked up." I was furious! The people at the front desk were not friendly at all, poor customer service. We checked in our room which was a pretty good size for a one bedroom. The first thing my daughter noticed was a large roach on the floor. As I was unpacking I saw a few more roaches on the floor. I went to the office to make a complaint, they were closed! Exhausted we decided to go to bed, all of a sudden I see a small bug crawling near my daughter on the bed! This is not acceptable! I wanted to wash all of the sheets! Much to our surprise, this is a pretty large resort and they only have three washer and dryers which were all on the opposite side of where we were staying. They were all in use! The pools were dirty, cob webs all around the pool areas. We will never stay here nor recommend this place to anyone... read more

Our room was right on the edge of the complex, which is the intersection of Flagler and Roosevelt, so the road noise and traffic kept us from getting any decent amount of sleep. Overall Coconut Mallory works, it's fine to rent for your weekend or vacation and it's reasonable for price. So here's the honest details and I wish I had taken pictures to prove it. It's slightly run down and our specific room needed to be cleaned better. The staff doesn't work they seem to make their own hours. The sign by the office stating the hours has black electrical tape over their hours of operation. It's impossible to get new or extra towels so you better keep the set you get in ship shape condition. Heaven forbid you have to wipe water from the bathroom floor or clean a mess. You will be screwed. We were told new towels are distributed on Wednesday's. Our trip didn't even fall on a Wednesday. Plan on buying almost everything you need if you plan to stay here for your trip. They do provide toilet paper and that's about it. The stupidest thing they provide is shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps in the showers. I personally would much rather have extra garbage bags in the bottom of our garbage bins than bathroom soaps. We went grocery shopping and just decided to use the bags from the groceries for the weekend as our garbage bags once we filled the 1 and only large kitchen garbage bag you are given for your garbage. Hopefully they can make some changes and treat their guests a little better. We heard many others around walking to and from the office complaining all the same. read more

While we were there everything seemed to be broken, our disabled grandfather was unable to go anywhere because the elevator was out of use all week, despite them telling us that it was operational, the laundry service almost would not do our towels, the person supposed to help us with moving our grandfather picked up the phone and hung up. The services were very limited despite false promises. The handicap pool access mechanism was broken despite being told it was functional. It was not working when friends of ours visited 2 years before. He was relocated to a room on the ground level away from his family and was not even provided with a phone. Otherwise the place provided very basic needs and was good for a basic apartment. Great location, not so great customer service. Didn't spoil our fun though. read more

This was a timeshare exchange with Diamond International. They said it was a four star resort, but unfortunately, our 1 bed/bath came without even the agreed upon accommodations according to as listed on our guest certificate. The room was dirty, including the small 3.4 cu. ft refrigerator with two inches of frost around the freezer. The stove top was also dirty with burnt on food. No blanket included, only a coverlet over the sheets. No alarm clock, no telephone, no dishwasher and missing cups, plates. The view was a stone wall on the first floor level. The worst problem was it came with BUGS! (Not the good kind!) We did speak to management, with no satisfaction or assistance. We had to leave the place early without compensation, but it was not possible to remain there. And the time share company is 'sympathetic', but useless. Just do not go there! Find another option. And if you do go there, you will need transportation. You will need to rent a motor scooter, or a golf cart, so add the extra cost to your overall costs. Very disappointed. The bar is unfortunately open to the general public which causes a problem with parking. We arrived back one evening to find no parking near the room. This is also a safety issue for anyone traveling alone. We still had a good time seeing the sights in Key West, but we did have to cut the trip short due to the problems with the hotel room. read more

Had a reservation for 2 nights booked through a booking service affiliated with the hotel. Once there we were told our reservation had been cancelled by the booking company. i had confirmation numbers, but that did not matter. The staff seemed to try to book us directly, but this took up precious hours. We then were assured they site could fix the mistake, but by early evening, our room had been booked by another booking site and we were without lodging in a busy, expensive area. I enjoyed my stay here. The only complaint is the front desk skips out early and is not there until 8 pm as the sign says. We needed something about 7 pm and they were already gone (2 nights in a row). People were complaining in the morning too, needing to check in & out, opening at 9 AM is too late. We had the 2 bedroom condo and it was great, except for the washing machine leaking water in the living room. This place is very quiet, it felt very safe, comfy spacious rooms, 2 big pools, the front desk was very nice and accommodating. It's on the other side of Key West (not close to Duval St at all). I would give less than 1 star if I could! We have stayed once before - a few years ago and although it wasn't anything specially it was spacious and worked for our group at the time. However, this time it was even less than "anything special". We had seen online they supposedly had made many improvements to the property, but we did not witness anything since our last visit. The "playground" equipment listed online is even gone in person, the times they list for their office to be open are way off from reality, the DVD players they listed online are "if available" to check out, etc... There are shopping carts, building supplies, trash and other random things scattered throughout under the buildings in the parking areas. Luckily we did not experience the bug problem many others that reviewed did, but we did have several spots in the bathtubs that had been poorly patched and a very moldy shower curtain in one. Overall a very disappointing place -- luckily we weren't in the room much but we won't be back. read more

When we went to switch out our towels in the morning, they didn't have any. When we went to switch out our towels that same evening, they didn't have any. The sofa bed didn't have a sheet to cover the bed, it had a thick blanket - perfect for the humidity! The kitchenette was tiny with a tiny fridge so we had two ice chests filled with ice to keep our food and drinks cold the whole week. Would never stay here again. read more
