All the times we have been down here and we never stopped here before. This is really a true dive bar which is a good thing. But Florida smoking laws allow smoking in bars where less than 10% of their income comes from food. So unless you are a smoker it is very difficult to breathe. Walking in at first, it feels like you are walking into a party where you don't know anyone, and standing there feeling awkward. The people are locals and everyone seems to know each other. But they are super friendly and a few introduced themselves and invited us to sit down. Drinks are super cheap, $8 for 2 mixed drinks. There are pool tables if you want to play pool, and the locals were very welcoming. read more

If you're looking for an off the beaten path salt of the earth dive bar, look no further! Great atmosphere, and amazingly welcoming staff and bay flies. We let them know we were bike 63 miles and were stopping at every dive bar along the way, and they were eager to tell us the best spots!! read more

Local dive, very interesting. Its tucked away in the back of a liquor store. I usually blend in most places but I stuck out like a sore thumb here; I have all my teeth, I guess the regulars noticed. Cold, cheap beer. Its worth a stop for the pool tables and liquid-fueled comedy! read more

Total locals' dive bar, but very welcoming and exactly as billed. The BF and his brother hung out while I was getting a mani-pedi at Caribbean Dream Salon and Day Spa across the street. Beer and pool all around! In a perfect world, more beers on tap and a better cocktail selection would be awesome, but you know what, they don't claim to be a beer bar or a cocktail lounge, so suck it up. The guys killed a few hours while I was getting even more beautiful. When I joined them, I had a weak Capt'n and Diet with lime. Apparently all citrus translates to lemon. That's okay. I can roll. A local at the bar and I discussed the not so finer points of Sailor Jerry versus Captain. Him, "Have you ever tried Sailor Jerry?" Me, "Yeah. I just don't care for it all that much." Him, "Oh, that's too bad because it's got a lot more alcohol in it. More bang for your buck." Me, "That's okay. It's early. I need to pace myself." Him, "I hear that!" I played pinball and eyed the other video games while the guys were winding up their pool. And then we left for Springer's Bar and Grill down the street for lunch. Really no food here to speak of, although a chalkboard advertised various microwaveable delicacies such as the breakfast burritos and cheeseburgers. Totally come here for cheap beer and pool or darts, but don't expect more than they promise. read more

STOLE CREDIT CARD INFO SPENT $400 ONLINE. Born and Raised right here on big pine. Normally avoid the nut just because how nasty it is. But found my self In there around 10. Miss P was already drunk. Got two pitchers and pool balls. Played a few games of pool got 4 shots. Was charged $82!! Completely ripped us off so I only tipped her 4 bucks (on my card I never use other then at the gas pump), she then cussed us out the door we didn't say much just left. 2 days went to fill up got declined and a Text from BOA saying I spend 380 bucks at Victoria secret. I mean I'm a 250lbs male that's not a normal thing for me to do. Any ways I would avoid at all cost go to the tiki or any where else. read more

Will never set foot in there again. Went there with a friend while on vacation we both ordered 2 beers one each. Some how my tab ended up $36. For 2 bottles of beer. I asked the bartender who was also the owner (who was wasted behind the bar servering) to explain to me why it was so much. She told me "I don't know! I gave u what you ordered". On my itemized receipt it showed 2 shots, 4 drinks and a bag of chips! I tried to explain that none of this ordered in the 20 minutes I was there. She refused to adjust my tab after running my card. I have never experienced such bad service and she clearly was ripping me off. Bad ownership and business ethic to be so drunk and serving guests while ripping them off. Never will I go there again nor do I recommend it to anyone read more

Definitely a little Hole in the Wall place. Prices weren't bad in the bar area. Kind of pricy in the liquor store though. Other then that had 3 pool tables and good music. I can see if you wanted to go somewhere to just have fun and not be around a bunch of tourist then this is your place. read more

Locals joint with good prices & fair pours. Great pool tables, old fashion darts, & awesome bartenders. Atmosphere changes a bit after 11:00pm when more of the vacationing crowd come in but always a good time. Always very generous to local charitable events & Abate Annual Chili Cook-Off central for many years. read more
