Casa Amigo Bowl

This came as a suggestion of my beautiful and professional server. Food was fresh and full of flavor. Ambience was great place to be alone.

I went for the first time with a friend at 12:30pm on. Wednesday . it was empty and we were seated immediately. I ordered the 12oz ribeye with steamed vegetables and rice and black beans. the steak was really good and the so were the black beans. the vegetables needed some seasoning. We also got chips and salsa which were hit and fresh. I also ordered the guava margarita and a house sangria. All of them were really good. overall good food, great drinks. Will come back!

Paella Mexicana & Tableside Guacamole

This is about my 4th time going here and I always get the same thing : paella mexicana (substitute the fish for chicken) and it's so good! It's very flavorful! In addition to the rice it had onions, green bell peppers, a sauce (it taste similar to white sauce) and cheese. It's simple but tasty. I also ordered a peach...it was decent. The table guac was very good and fresh . They don't make it table side but you can tell it was freshly made. The customer service is decent.

Love their monster burrito. My family always enjoys whatever they order as well. Very fast service, clean restaurant, and great prices.

Food is decent but every time I've went, I didn't have great service. I'm a stickler for service and cocos and beer leaves me underwhelmed.

Good food and service but additional charges for alcoholic beverages and when paying with a card.

We visited JR's Cash Bar & Grill recently and had an overall decent experience. We were able to be…read moreseated within about 10 minutes, which was great considering how busy they seemed to be. The hostess and our waitress were both very welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout the visit. Our appetizers and drinks came out pretty quickly, which definitely started the meal off on a positive note. However, the entrees were a little underwhelming. We ordered the "award-winning" prime rib, but unfortunately it arrived lukewarm. We also tried the shrimp and flounder platter. The shrimp were actually really good, but the flounder lacked seasoning, and the overall plate temperature was lukewarm as well. While the food didn't completely wow us this visit, the service and atmosphere were pleasant enough that I'd still come back to try different menu items in the future. Overall, I'd say it was an okay, decent experience.

On my last visit to SC, at the recommendation of a family member, we decided to grab an early lunch…read more@ JR Cash on a Friday afternoon. Upon arrival we were seated right away. As we perused the menu, we waited sometime for our server, whom was also tending to the patrons at the bar along with tables. I'm assuming because it was just before noon they were not yet fully staffed. We proceeded with our orders. I opted for the blackened chicken Alfredo with a caesar salad and a sweet tea. To be honest I was not impressed by the service or the food. While the salad was fresh and the warm honey butter croissants were well received. The blackened chicken Alfredo was bland and required me to add a great deal of black pepper, hot sauce and parmesan cheese to make it palatable. Additionally at the table there was an order of a 1/2 rack of ribs and a 14oz prime rib both with loaded mash. The rib recipient was as equally unimpressed as I was. However, the prime rib seemed to be enjoyed. Unfortunately, this was such an unmemorable dining experience for me that I didn't take any photos of the food. Just A Note: The warm honey butter croissants and the sweet tea were the high points of the meal.

I was the third party member going in blind because while my dinning companions suggested Bluefin, if I'm honest they were not doing a good job selling it, with their mixed reviews. We arrived @ 7pm on a Saturday. Upon arrival we were asked if we had reservations, which we did not. We were seated immediately because oddly enough the place was not busy. As we perused the menu, we noticed the amount of time that had elapsed without being approached or attended to. As we continued to wait, I immediately thought this is a bad sign. Finally we got a waitress and placed our orders. For starters we ordered: -BLUEFIN CRAB DIP: Lemon Breadcrumbs and Toasted Baguette -CRAB CAKES: Sweet Corn, Black Eyed Peas, Tomatoes, Leeks, Whole Grain Mustard Butter -PRINCE EDWARD MUSSELS: Garlic, White Wine, Herbs, Leeks, Tomatoes, Lemon Butter All were good. Even though I ordered it, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the combination of the sweet corn and black eyed peas of the Crab Cake dish. The Mussels were good and the Crab Dip was ok. For an entrée I went with the PAN SEARED BLACK BASS (BARRAMUNDI) with Fried Brussel Sprouts, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Ginger Soy Vinaigrette. This dish was great! Both my sister and I ordered this and we could not stop raving about it. She was little salty that I had some left for a doggy bag , albeit a small amount, and she finished all of hers. Lol Overall the experience started off shaky but the food was good. Just A Note: The service left much to be desired but the dish I had was memorable.
