Service good, no issues. Portions are very large so if you are just moderately hungry the baked potato and pork tenderloin sandwich could each easily be cut in half. Prices were very good. Would be back and likely split a meal. For the pork tenderloin sandwich it's about the size of a man's hand, was well prepared but as a sandwich the taste was boring. No sauce, dip, mayo, spice or anything. I asked for buffalo and mayo which was good addition (and they kindly provided on request) but I think if they had an option to make it like a "hot chicken" or just dress with buffalo sauce, gravy or even cheese that would make it the bomb. Could even serve it without bread as a tenderloin alone which would have been good. read more

We were in town to see family and wanted a steakhouse. Literally drove an hour to come here based on the feedback from everyone around us and it was worth the drive. Their special was bone in ribeye cooked perfectly. No steak sauce needed. Sides we had their homemade apple slaw and their loaded baked potato salad. Service was great. We sat at the bar and got the TRex, billed as their most popular food truck fav. Yep, I can see why. It was awesome. And huge. And awesome. I would go back for more, but they are far from my home and any route I'm likely to be on again. If you find yourself in Marshall, do yourself a favor and have a meal here. Oh, and check out the World's Largest Gavel in town, too! It's not necessarily clear if they seat you or if you just find a spot - my companion and I walked in and waited at the stand in front for a few minutes before just wandering around to the back bar. If we hadn't done that, I'm not sure if we'd still be standing there. But the locals must know what to do, because the place was packed for lunch on a random Tuesday. Not the most comfortable/fancy space, but sounds like they used to be a food truck, so probably still upgrading. I thought this was a good small time restaurant. If you are looking for a good place to go in Marshall, this is a good choice. There is a small bar area with tvs and a cute tiki bar setup. There is also an additional dinning room attached to the building. We got the Nachyo mamas nachos and they were large. We got the small and definitely could've fed 5 people for a snack. We also got a margarita flight. We thought that was a little pricey for what it was. It was $20. There are a ton of margarita flavors though. For a meal, I got the pulled pork sandwhich and smoked Mac and cheese. I wish the pulled pork sandwhich was much more juicy. It was pretty dry pork. The bbq sauce was good on it. Went for the prime rib night and it did not disappoint!!! I even asked if they could blacken/char it for me and they did it to perfection! The margarita flight was incredible. They also substituted rum for me instead of tequila, I don't care for tequila, and they were sooo good! Our waitress was super engaging and worked her butt off to provide excellent service. I don't care if you're 5 minutes away or 5 states. The pork tenderloin sandwich here rewired my brain and rebooted my entire tastebud ecosystem. I took one bite and my soul tried to escape my body out of sheer joy, but it couldn't because it was TOO BUSY THROWING A DANCE PARTY IN MY MOUTH. The pork? Juicy like it was blessed by Poseidon himself. Crispy edges that crunched with the same satisfaction as crushing all your enemies. The bun? A soft, golden cloud that lovingly cradled that glorious hunk of meat like a baby in a manger. I would write love poems to this sandwich. I would betray a small nation for another one. Halfway through, I blacked out from happiness and woke up speaking fluent pork. This is my first time there. It's absolutely no ambience it's like a school cafeteria. With that being said I thought the food was good. I had the ribeye sandwich and fries and my dining friend had the grilled chicken and fries. We were both satisfied with the food. Well to begin with pulling up to the restaurant the place looks nice on the outside. walking in, the entry way is a little dated and the layout is a little quirky. If you're gonna have the guests walk past the kitchen then i expect the kitchen to be clean. Getting to the service, we were seated quickly and orders were taken quickly and accurately. Appetizers came out reasonably fast , we had the chicken nachos which were a fair serving. We also ordered the cheese bombs, which were very good. One of us ordered the Rooster Wrap, which was sorta bland, but still edible by all means just lacking FLAVOR. Another item we ordered was the Giant Pretzel, which didn't disappoint in size, the pretzel was served soft and hot. But the cheese was hit or miss with some of us. The other item we order was the T-Rex which was a decently sized potato served with fries, which the fries were good! But the potato wasn't served with enough butter and sour compared to the size of the potato. The last item we ordered was the Drunkin' Hog which was a half pound burger with bacon, ham, cheddar cheese, and beer cheese. The Meats were served fully cooked and were delicious , but the beer cheese didn't have quite the right taste for my palette. but nonetheless I believe the service was great. But I think there's for improvement with the flavoring of some of the items on the menu, and maybe an update or remodel to some of the rooms and layout of the restaurant. The Cleanliness could be improved slightly, But overall a great small town restaurant with good portions of food, friendly service, and plenty of potential!!! read more

Was excited to visit the silo as we seen and heard good things. made an reservation thinking it was going to busy but it was not. the time we arrived was 4:10 pm in Illinois time, and since we are from Indiana it was 5pm and time to eat. The staff was great and helpful, and the food was pretty good we enjoyed it. the establishment must cater to the younger folks who like to party some. we were led to our table in the bar area and all we seen was high top tables which is fine but being 70 years old no way for us. There was a table in bar area but it looked dirty and real close to another so we asked to sit somewhere else, so they took us back to the front where they call the overflow seating area. I understand these ladies who own and run this place are working real hard and this is not to run any of them down. I never took any pictures of the place because that's just being wrong. If you to eat there, be prepared it's not a new building and its really dated, the carpet was black by stains . the tables were old and and looked like no one had wiped them down, the room was warm, and the flies were plentiful. looked at tv and it was the same, very the screen was smudged badly and looked like it had not been wiped down in a while. outside decor needed some attention as well. that was our party of fours option only. Hannah the owner reached out to me after I posted a comment on their Facebook page asking us to give it another try. Which I really appreciated but I don't need a free meal, so I declined but wish this small business owner all the best. I am sure just starting out there some things that will change but the place was not for us. very disappointed read more
