Yes, they do introduce you to package options, but when it was presented to me, it honestly felt like a no-brainer because of how much I was already enjoying it. As someone who typically avoids dancing and being the center of attention, I was surprised at how much happier I felt leaving than when I walked in. I ended up signing up for a package without hesitation. The instructors are so supportive, and I really appreciate that they rotate partners so both leaders and followers can receive tips, tricks, and different perspectives, it truly enhances the whole experience. When we came back for our second lesson, they remembered little details about us that we had only briefly mentioned before. That level of attentiveness made me feel genuinely seen and valued. I've always been more of a karaoke person than a dancer, but having the chance to connect with my partner in this way and actually have an amazing time doing it, has been such a gift. I'm so thankful we found this place.

I was looking for a fun date night and stumbled upon Taz's cooking classes, which all seem to focus on different Asian themes. Mark H. and I have tried repeatedly to cook Thai and Indian curries without any success, so I signed us up for the Korean BBQ night. Little did I know that we would be cooking a Korean BBQ FEAST. We cooked for about 3 hours. Each recipe independently seemed manageable, but who eats a single item at a Korean BBQ? My favorite dishes ended up being the Korean potato salad and, of course, the meat. At the end, we sat together family-style and devoured massive quantities of delicious food that we'd all cooked together. Looking back on the night, there were so many recipes and tips and tricks that there's no way I can keep it all straight. Luckily Taz sent us home with a mini cook book of the recipes we had created! One of the biggest pluses of his course is that he focuses on the ingredients and where to find them - turns out our curries probably weren't going so well since we were getting all our ingredients at Fry's or Safeway. 10/10 will go back again for another night. Can't wait to learn how to cook a good Thai dish!

We had Covid tests prior to the class, Taz purchased all the necessary ingredients, he arrived on time with color printed recipe instructions for us to keep, and he expertly showed us the ropes. We had great conversation throughout the class, he graciously shared the culinary knowledge he's acquired through his world travels, and we enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal while Taz washed the dishes. He's a down to earth amazing chef, he's professional and courteous, we'll schedule another class with him, and he has our highest endorsement and recommendation. A+++

We signed up for the Blankets & Besties workshop, where you make a chunky blanket. You get to choose your color from a list and note it when you register on their website. It was $85 before tax and came with 5 skeins of yarn, with the option to add more (I think for an additional $15). I also put in the notes on my registration the names of my friends so that we could sit together. The workshop was at 6pm on a Friday and lasted about two hours. There was my group of three and three others, plus the owner/instructor Lauren. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she would jump in if we needed help. I made a few errors, and she was able to fix them for me. I ended up making my loops too loose on the outside and too tight on the inside, so my blanket came out a bit small. But I think it was decent for my first attempt. It's so soft. I keep it on my couch to use as a lap blanket. We all had a great time and would definitely come back to try other workshops. My coworker had tried one of the resin workshops and really liked it too.

The leader just said instructions quickly and with everyone doing so many different projects at same time, she couldn't go step by step to show anything or show different techniques. I was told that the resin would fall off the sides of the wood but I could put resin if I wanted. Well, it didn't fall off the side and looks bad. We luckily had a nice couple across from us with experience using resin and helped us along the way. I also googled things along the way (like how much resin is too thick cause that was never mentioned). For the price I paid I should not be googling information or asking other customers.

I love both of these stylish and useful items! Last Saturday, Nov 23rd, I introduced my girlfriend to this wonderful workshop where she created a tic tac wooden game board and a I, a personalized 18 x 18 inch pillow case for a holiday gift. It is a smooth process from booking to completing your session. After On line, you select your craft, your customization (if you choose to) work date and payment. Confirmation will be sent to you via email. The owner and director, Tanya is so friendly and polite! She answers inquiries over the phone and offers helpful suggestions. She preps everything ahead of time so you just need to show up. Lettering, paints, tools, a clean workspace is ready for you. We had fun working alongside others who were working on their own projects. After a couple of hours, we left with a sanded, painted/stained game board complete with pieces and a ready to use customized pillow case. It really was a fun, inspiring time out! We got there at 145pm and the sign said 'We get here 15 minutes before class' and 'walk-ins welcome'. Well, we were there and no one else was. Then, a gal pulled up with her boyfriend and unlocked the door at 203pm, we began to follow her in. She stopped us at the door after they both walked in and said she needed a few minutes. We waited until 210pm in the heat and then she let unlocked the door again. The class consisted of those 2, my friend and I and a girl who came in AFTER the class had already begun; we were laying down and in the middle of meditating when the instructor left us, and went to the lobby and in full conversation, started helping the latecomer. (Mind you, the class was SUPPOSED to start at 200pm and this was closer to 220 that the instructor thought it was OKAY to let a LATE straggler in). The door was never locked and it was very distracting to be in the middle of relaxation and she was gone from class, helping someone up front, talking loudly. This morning at 1000am, I registered for the 200pm class today - for attendance, so they'd know someone was planning on being there. So today, we show up for the 200pm class, only this time 10 minutes before class (150pm) and no one is there. At 200pm, no one is there. I call and leave a message, no one calls back. We email (as they told us to if it was an emergency) - no one emailed back. We waited until 220 - no one showed up. We left. And we were registered. I find it horrible to have a business and to 1) not show up for a scheduled class 2) still be helping people after the class already started 3) not honor their own words 'we arrive 15 minutes before class' - and NEVER to show up for a registered, on-the-schedule class. Don't know if it is THAT instructor on Sunday but if THIS were my business and I was losing customers, I'd certainly want to know about it. We've moved onto another yoga studio, Joyful Yoga https://joyfulyogastudio.com/; they're there every class, even if no one shows, and they have classes all day long on every day. Sorry but the yoga classes at this place - they need to treat the people that they DO have coming, a little better. I'm getting a refund.
