The berry danish was cleared out at the front glass but I asked if they had more coming in the back and luckily they did. The other two were ordered from the glass displays. I wouldn't say they're the best croissants I've ever had, but they were still pretty good. Only thing with the ham and cheese croissant was that I cut it in half the short way to share (so you would think both halves would have an even distribution of everything) but all the ham was pushed to one side that their half literally had no ham in it. There were a lot of other things on display that looked really good so when I venture out to this part of town I'll have to come back and give those a try. I definitely recommend coming in early because a lot of things in the front displays were cleared out by the time we got to the front. They do keep making more but it's not a guarantee.

The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. We got it with the sauce on the side, but I regret doing that as I saw others getting it with the sauce on top and it was beautiful. The pancake was super fluffy and a bit eggy as well. We all really enjoyed it with the mango sauce. I made the mistake of eating the pancake first before trying a sip of my tea. The pancake was pretty sweet, so I could barely taste my drink, but I think it was good? I could taste a bit of the lemon but definitely not the white peach, which is a lighter flavor. I got a slice of their Hokkaido cheese cake roll for $7 to go and had it the next day. It was okay but definitely a bit pricy for what you get. Just found this supposedly lovely and quaint spot to sit down, enjoy my coffee, and catch up with my embroidery. I ordered the iced rose bowl latte, and it had the perfect balance of rose and turmeric without overpowering one another. However while I was sitting down and doing my work, the place had the A/C on even though it was 65 degrees outside. I told one of the baristas, and her response was, "Yeah it's cold huh?", and did not change the A/C settings or turn it off. I asked the other barista if she can do so, but she said she can since the storage room/kitchen would be super hot. If they can provide a better solution to cool off their storage room/kitchen AND to make sure their customers are NOT freezing that would been better. read more

Found this little coffee shop from our way back of dinner at Il Fornaio, which is in the same square. The super cute decor is what drew my attention and after takin mom for her Mother's Day dinner we decided to stop in and check out this place. We ordered a Matcha and a drink that was blue with coconut. It was so good it was not overly sweet and it was a very refreshing taste. My mom loved her blue drink even though it did not contain any coffee but after our dinner we were already tired so I guess that was a good thing. The matcha coffee place has a cool aesthetic with dried flowers in the drinks, which is a nice touch, but the experience didn't quite live up to the hype. While the presentation is Instagram-worthy, the actual drinks leave something to be desired. If you order a cold drink, it's packed with so much ice that you're essentially paying a premium for barely an ounce of liquid. On top of that, they expect you to add your own cinnamon and cup holders, which feels a bit odd given the prices. Omg where do I start?! I saw one of my friends try this place on ig and thought it was super cute so I decided to give it a try. Let's just say it's not that great. Like the decor is mehhh and the people are either rude or just creepy. Totally not my vibe. The manager was some short dude, kinda creepy. I asked a question about the drinks and he told me to add him on ig smh. Like ewww no thanks. You're old. Why are you getting at your customers? I'm only 20. The vegan croissants lacked flavor and tasted like they were packaged, and the blueberry crumble pie was equally unimpressive. Beautiful, peaceful, and very nice place to come and have a delicious cup of coffee. I had the rose bowl latte and OMG it's soooo delicious. Has beet powder and sweetened with hibiscus with oat milk! So so so yummy, I was surprised! Just the right amount of sweetness and beautiful presentation. The plants, decor and lovely flowers made me feel calm and happy to spend my Sunday morning here. The latte was overpriced, filled with too much ice, and the coffee itself was so diluted it lacked any real flavor. The cookie was decent, but it didn't justify the overall cost. This place is amazing, such unique lattes I've never heard of! I tried the superfood latte and not exaggerating it was the best thing I've ever tasted. This place is such a unique blend: part hip-hop vinyl shop, part artsy cafe, and all-around good vibes. The music selection is top notch, and I loved browsing the cute merch and randomly awesome stationery items. Service was super friendly. My husband had a great conversation with one of the guys behind the counter about the shop's minimalist decor, and we learned Two Kids has been thriving for 10 years. I hadn't been in since right around the pandemic, so it was heartwarming to see they made it through and are still flourishing. The espresso was absolutely luscious, and as a bonus, we got the prettiest latte art with hearts in our drinks, big love for that! Really wish I had more time to hang out on the comfy couches in the middle of the shop and soak in some vinyl tunes. Can't wait to come back and spend a morning here the right way, highly recommended!
