After a morning at the beach, Coffee at The View was the perfect midday stop. I had an omelette, a cortado, and a French roast -- all spot on. The food was fresh, the coffee was bold and smooth, and the relaxed vibe made it a great place to unwind. The service was also first class. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Such nice, nice people. The staff here is absolutely amazing, you just want to give them all big hugs because of how sweet they are. They are quick with orders and very accommodating with any changes you might want to add to your drinks and food. The food tasted amazing! You can tell everything is homemade, which is the best kind of food if you ask me! All the ingredients looked and tasted fresh! - Just watch the video attached for yourself! The place was small but cozy! I loved the idea of the chalkboard where customers can write on it. They take a picture of the entire board and erase it once it's full so more people can write on it! The "¿Cafetamos?" sign and the swing are adorable touches to the place. The parking lot is very spacious, so you have no problem parking! The overall vibe was warm and welcoming. Coming here was definitely the highlight of my Puerto Rico trip, I highly recommend visiting!
This little hidden gem in a must to visit when you are on a vacation in Puerto Rico. Rated the highest on Google and featured in discover Puerto Rico website, it has a chic vibe and the people there are so warm. Let's talk coffee, the owners there know the coffee the serve. They serve the best coffee with hand picked roast. Cappuccino there is a must try and is authentic. We also had panini omelette and waffle chicken which were good. But the flan there was sooo good. Don't expect the lot from ambience as it's a make shift store which could get hot on a sunny day but it's totally worth the visit.

The scenery is gorgeous with the rainforest outlook and Instagram photo ops. The coffee *chef's kiss*. I ordered the waffle omelette *whew* it's a challenge! I appreciated the savory flavor. The omelette is backed with ham, bacon, tomatoes, arugula, onions, and cheese - nothing like mainland omelette- had unique flavor and freshness. The waffle was savory and thick. I loved this place. It really captures the essence of the PR people. Definitely stop by. Full food and coffee menu.
This place is so underrated and amazing! We stopped here instead of the pricey hotel breakfast and we were not disappointed! I had the fruit and waffles. The waffles were sweet, fluffy and the fruit the came with it was so fresh and amazing. I was stuffed! But I had just enough room for mimosas which were also amazing! Take opportunity of their cute photo wall and swing and don't forget to leave a message on their chalk wall before you leave!
We loved this road side coffee place we stopped at after El Yunque. The owner was delightful and the coffee was delicious. We only got it to go so I can't review the food and table service but I would definitely go here again. I recommend stopping on your way to El Yunque before a hike or for brunch after.
Excellent meals. I had the oatmeal w bananas, blueberries, walnuts. And toast w feta and garlic (surprisingly delicious). My wife had the pumpkin pancake with bacon. Also delicious (my samples :-) ) Cortado was perfect! Only reason for 4 vs 5 was because a couple of guests' orders were taken before ours even tho we arrived and sat earlier. The waiter was great and friendly. I would return and be frequent if I lived here.
Coffee with a view is exactly the type of local spot I love to find and support while traveling! The casual coffee spot is an outdoor shelter at the end of Hwy 3 and a church parking lot. The staff are so warm and the chalkboard wall made the space feel casual and welcoming. They offer an extensive list of specialty coffees, careful to clarify what we meant when ordering an iced coffee (vs ice latte). The whip cream and latte art were fun to ooo and ahh as our drinks were brought to our table. For brunch, the croissant sandwiches were exactly what my partner and I were craving, something savory and light. My mom had a chicken wrap with fries. My dad ordered their burger which came out stacked to the sky. Our server joked with him about how the burger will certainly get messy to eat and to jump right in. He met the challenge and finished the entire burger. Needless to say, he was set for the day and had a light dinner that evening. This would definitely be my go-to coffee spot if I lived nearby!

I loved how cute & quaint this spot is. We were seated immediately & the waiter was very warm & friendly. Coffee was delicious and food was just good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they uncharged for every thing without warning. I switched regular milk for almond milk and it was a 1.50 charge, whipped cream .75, adding flavor to my latte was another .75. I would have appreciated a heads up that each of these changes would have a fee.

The venue is one the side of the road next to the highway. The view over the road into the forest is gorgeous. The food was so good and their coffees, smoothies and mimosas were so good we ordered them twice. Service was top tier and they accommodated my allergies very easily read more
We stopped in at Coffee at the View while in Rio Grande, and Luis took great care of us. It's such a cute little spot, and it does have an incredible view. The coffee and food were amazing. I ordered an omelette, and my husband ordered the croissant omelette. Both were really good. Definitely stop in and check them out if you're in the area. read more

We loved this road side coffee place we stopped at after El Yunque. The owner was delightful and the coffee was delicious. We only got it to go so I can't review the food and table service but I would definitely go here again. I recommend stopping on your way to El Yunque before a hike or for brunch after. read more

Very nice little spot with a great view of el yunke. Everyone here is super nice and the food is delicious! We came for breakfast and loved it. My omelette was delicious my wife had a bacon egg and cheese bagel that just half filled her up so I finished that for her and it was banging too. Kids loved the pancakes, strawberry and plane but they loved it with the amount of fruit on the side as well. Just an overall great local establishment to visit. read more

The coffee tastes great but a little on the sweet side no kick. 7.2 I got the ham croissant and it was almost inedible due to it falling apart as i picked it up. Also not much flavor. 4.6 My wife got the egg bacon panini and was exactly that no flavor at all and dry. 5.2 Guys that worked there were nice. There was not much of a view, which was confusing. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back from hiking in El Yunque. It's a relaxing, small restaurant with outdoor seating. We were greeted by a host and waiter that were exceptional in service. Our food and drinks were delicious! I would definitely recommend the avocado toast and fruit waffles. Their coffee is soooo yummy with lots of whipped cream! Absolutely stop here if you want good food and service! read more

This was our go-to breakfast/brunch spot on our week-long trip to Puerto Rico recently. We loved everything about it. We went three times, and would have gone more if they were open more than Thursday through Sunday. The coffees are delicious and beautifully made. The food is delicious. The kids got waffles with fruit each time. These waffle connoisseurs gave them high praise, and unfortunately now look down on the waffles at our local diner they are used to. My wife got the oatmeal several times. Like the waffles with fruit, it comes beautifully arranged with fresh fruit, whipped cream, and other goodies. I know you're thinking "oatmeal? So what?" Don't. It was fantastic and should not be slept on. I got some of the more savory, "lunchy" dishes, including the panini, the carbonara toast, and the avocado toast. All were excellent. I especially loved the bread for the panini and carbonara toast, and the bacon crumbles on the carbonara toast were delicious. The owner/manager and the staff were incredibly friendly and warm. They made us feel very welcome, and we let them know how much we enjoyed our breakfasts there. They even coaxed my 12 and 13 year old kids into practicing some Spanish. Love this place. Can't recommend enough if you are in the area. read more
Worlds best service is located right here. It's a super local family run vibe coffee breakfast spot. They are so accommodating, happy, and joyous people here at this little outdoor cafe. You can really customize your coffee, and the breakfast portions are massive. We got an omlete, avocado egg toast, and carbonara toast. You get so much for the price we paid for and everything is so delicious!!! It's hot, and everyones working hard, but their infectious kindness just set your day so positive and happy. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're visiting PR and you love coffee, ambiance, and wonderful people then you must come here. The barista crafted an iced coffee for my husband just based on very generic taste preferences and it was amazing (he had 3!). I had a hazelnut coffee and it was so delicious. There's a beautiful view of the rainforest from the tables and we had a great time just sitting and chatting with the owner and our server. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. We are going back tomorrow morning to try some more. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE. read more

OMG, this place is amazing. It is a small, unassuming spot. I find that the food at places like this is usually very good and they did not disappoint. My pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The fruit was fresh, and the coffee was delicious. They were very accommodating when my mom didn't like her coffee. The owner made sure she was satisfied. Our server was friendly and gave us some places to visit while we are here. I will be back for coffee again. read more
