Good coffee in a convenient location in downtown Port Clinton, but it has become a bit of a mess. I've been going there for a while, but as of late, I have found that I need double the time to get in and out, even when they are not busy. I hope their summer staff gets trained up quickly, or I will have to start stopping elsewhere on the way to work. read more

An actual coffeeshop! Without this place you'd have to drive 30 minutes to the nearest Starbucks or anything comparable, so it's great to find a coffeeshop. They have ample seating inside and outside and they also sell food and baked goods, along with a couple dozen varieties and flavors of coffee beans. I only had an iced coffee, so I can't comment on the actual quality of the coffee or food, but it was exactly what I needed. About 2-3 blocks from the Jet Express dock. Highly recommended. read more

Well although the food is pretty good you cannot count on this place being open. They randomly close even when the web page says they are open. Today is the third, and last, time we tried to order and were told they decided to close early. We all wrote down our order and were told that they do not have regular hours even though the web page says they do. read more

Couldn't seem to find many breakfast or brunch spots in the area so Coffee Express owns the market in my eyes. Even with that being said, this little place was still a great experience. Stopped in on a Sunday in the early afternoon. They close earliest this day, so make sure to check their hours if you're planning to stop by. The seating inside is cozy. It's a small place so there's a bunch of circular tables crammed in. Outside, there's a wrap around porch which has a few more tables and seating, but beware! The bees must also have a high regard for Coffee Express because about 4 of them came to bother me while eating my meal. This drove me back inside to finish it off but my little pests tried to tag along. I had a turkey and bacon bagel. They have many options of sandwiches, muffins, quiche, salads, coffees, and more. The prices are reasonable and the food was good quality. I was very satisfied and it's a quick walk from the Jet Express. Definitely a quaint place to check out if you're doing a trip to or from the islands. read more

First I will say that the guy behind the counter was very nice and knowledgeable about all the things that the place sold. My complaint was that they had no prices on anything. I got some kind of cold drink that tasted like a vanilla milk with lots of ice. I got a Reuben sandwich. It wasn't grilled or barely toasted. The sandwich was so small. Barely anything in the middle and nothing was melted. $14 for what? Terrible! I won't ever be back there again! read more

The food and coffee here are SO good. Found the place while staying nearby for a weekend and far exceeded expectations. We got there around 11 am and were able to park quickly at the back. The place is a quaint little blue house, and the service was friendly and quick. Got the Scary Jerry Mocha - one of the best mochas I had in a while. Also had a slice of the spinach tomato quiche which was also amazing and homemade. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area! read more

Due to popular request we decided to try this place on an early morning out of town. It was a little busy but I expected it since it's so popular! I ran in and orderd two vanilla lattes. I waited about 10 mins because there was one girl taking orders and making the drinks and one girl making the food. I didn't mind the wait Bc the shop is so cute!! My boyfriend loved his latte but for me it was too sweet . It was very very good but I just couldn't drink it. We of course will be back. This coffee shop had two of the most amazing muffins I have ever had the pleasure of eating. One was peach (peach muffin, who knew?) and the other was cappuccino chocolate chip. Huge in size as well as weight, I knew as soon as I felt the heft of the bag that we were in for a treat. So moist and delicious. There were so many varieties of baked goods, I want to come back and try them all. The actual coffee was very good as well. It tasted fresh and there were several varieties to choose from. It was a quaint little place, packed, and filled with a lot of regulars as well as tourists. The line still moved quickly and everyone was friendly. What a cool little coffee shop. I remember spending an entire day here when I was in high school visiting my friend and she had to work her shift. You could easily spend a day here! I love the cozy atmosphere and the vibe and feel of the place. We had to stop in Port Clinton to pick something up before we headed to Cedar Point recently and so we stopped here to get a coffee pick me up. Their specialty drinks are really tasty and I tried the raspberry Italian soda that my best friend's daughter got and I wanted to steal it from her. This is a fantastic local coffee shop in PC Ohio. It is a favorite of locals and vacationers alike. They have great coffee, specialty coffees, muffins, brownies, quiche and sandwiches (both breakfast and lunch). I particularly like the egg/bacon bagel and the turkey/bacon bagel. The shop is a converted house convenient to downtown PC and the Jet Express. If you are in the area, and you like coffee, you MUST stop at this fine establishment. It's fun and is the place to be. This place is family. It's a place to see the locals and get harassed by Tina. Amanda is a sweet heart and Kurtis is like a lovable goofball brother. Aside from the staff (which is truly the heart and soul of its charm), the pastries are fresh and tempting. I'm partial to the blueberry scones, morning glory muffin, and the homemade soups. They always have a coffee of the day as well as a decaf flavor of the day and a couple regular brews. My favorite is the Jamaican Me Crazy. My kids are big Ice Rage fans. The mornings can get pretty busy so don't be in a huge hurry! read more
