Came here for breakfast the morning after a concert out at Hops Springs Brewing and spending the night at the hotel next door. The coffee and breakfast wrap breathed new life into me! I got an iced coffee with a splash of half and half and the woman working actually put exactly what I ordered - just a splash of half and half (normally baristas put half the cup full of half and half). The coffee itself was bold and woke me right up! My egg and bacon wrap was simple yet delicious and gave me the energy I needed for the drive back home. The rest of the menu looked incredible. As a San Diegan now living in Nashville, I've been on the search for a good authentic banh mi and I can't wait to make another trip out to Murfreesboro to try it! read more

Awesome place! I got beef pho and my friends got chicken pho. DO NOT get beef. It was super gross and weirdly textured. The chicken is the way to go. 10/10 broth. The small was a good portion size. The inside is small, probably 8-9 tables, and it was half full at noon. Also the menu is TINY and on a TV screen behind the counter. I've been here a couple of times, each time I've left completely satisfied. Heard of this place from a close friend and was very excited to hear they were still open during the pandemic. The general layout of this local place has always remained very neat and organized. Restrooms are available, with supplies always in stock. I've ordered the chicken wings, Pad Thai, Pad Ka Pao, Red/Yellow Curry, and Beef/Mixed Pho. Each plate - for me - has always been very warm and tender, as in no dry meats or anything. The condiments and veggie toppings are always served fresh! Never had any complaints there. Hot damn. Can't believe this gem was under my nose this whole time! This little cafe doesn't just have coffee and tea; they have Vietnamese, Thai, and Laotian dishes and goodies. Their pad thai is out of this world. Their banh mi could use a bit more filling but the bread is absolutely perfect. The aroma, the crunch, the texture... To die for and so difficult to find. They don't make the bread on-site, but apparently their supplier is close by and knows what they are doing. Their Thai tea is great, too. They use real dairy unlike many other places these days. Service is excellent, and they have plenty of space for small groups or some solo-studying. Can't recommend this place more! read more

I have been left cold by coffee and food in Nashville, thank God for Coffee Fusion! The atmosphere is great for getting work done and the service is wonderful. I have been here several times and everything has been delicious. The cold brew and iced chais are particularly good. I am very selective about chai and their dirty chai is to die for. The pad Thai, pork rolls, green curry, and drunken noodles are all excellent. Always served hot and to your spice level preference. Nice little place. Got the food to go so no pictures. Was craving Banh mi for weeks and decided to try it out without having to drive to Atlanta. Tried the roast pork and the pork roll banh mi and both were very good. Little heavy on the daikon and carrots though. Also the steam buns were also good and a perfect amount of meat to dough ratio. Ordered the All Meats Banh-mi sandwich and Vietnam's ice coffee for lunch today. About $12 total Waited for about 5-7 minutes for the sandwich, it was LOADED and delicious. The bread is perfectly toasted and so soft at the same time. The coffee wasn't as great as I thought it would be. It was too sweet. This was just my second time visiting, they've added more stuff to the menu so I'll def be coming back for lunch again. It's really quiet in there so it would be nice if they had some music or a Tv to watch while eating in there. The restaurant is fairly clean and the service was decent. read more

My husband brought me here because I wanted bubble tea and sabaidee was closed and coffee fusion was the only other local place for bobba. My husband got the thai ice tea. It was good, taste like all over thai teas. I got the taro bubble tea and it was good. The boba was very soft and good. I ordered one taro bun, but she rang me up for two! girl said it was baked freshly everyday. I doubt it. The bun barely had taro in it. (See picture). It was not good. I really wanted a pandan waffle. But they said they were out. They could have easily made another one but didn't want to. Also, the menu was terrible to read! Very small printed. This place is interesting. With the name like coffee fusion, you wouldn't think they sold any type of food, yet they have Thai, viet, and Chinese food. On my way back to Missouri, my girlfriend and I stopped in Murfreesboro for lunch, she wanted Jimmy Johns, but this place caught my eye for Banh Mi's. Got a pork roll banh mi, a $8 combo meal of 3 Chinese dishes, and a large red bean bubble tea. The banh mi was very good, the 3 combo meal was not so much, $8 for a single plate was not worth it and there was a lot of water in our food. Now the bubble tea, I'm pretty sure they use powder, the red bean had no red bean and tastes more like vanilla ice cream. Go for the banh mi, or maybe even the coffee. read more

FINALLY REAL FOOD! Being from California originally i had never thought i would see Pandan anything ever again after heading to the south for work. Today i was proven wrong. Pandan waffle, Pandan Cake... And the nice young man at the counter had said his Aunt made the cake! A Real Local, Real Family and Really Good spot all around! Beef Pho was perfect, broth was well balanced and the meat was not overpowering anything. Spring Rolls were stuffed well and uniform and delicious. Red Bean bun was soft and sweet and perfect. Steamed Bun was perfect! Sausage and Hard Boiled Egg! Bahn Mi with BBQ Pork was fantastic! Perfect Bread, tons of veggies inside! Paté and all! Thai Iced Tea was excellent. Vietnamese Iced coffee was a heavy hitter! POW! All in all this was so good that i was very upset i didnt have any cash on me to leave a tip. So i drove down the street and bought something at walgreens down the st just to get cash back to run back in and give the young guy at the counter. These are the businesses we need in this world. Pretty well kept place in general but not as impressed as I thought I'd be for the pricing. They have great coffee choices! I got the Laos iced coffee which had a dark flavor but with a little sweetness to it. I also ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese crossaint sandwich which was extremely underwhelming. I got it to go and it was wrapped in parchment paper, no sausage with cheese melted everywhere and a soggy crossaint. Considering I was the only person there, I don't know how they ended up forgetting what they charge extra for or take the time to at least make it a little neater and not rushed. To be fair, the flavor was there as far as what I could get off the paper. I didn't want to take bites of the wrapper so I ended up throwing away a quarter of my sandwich. All in all, hopefully they just had an off morning. Coffee was good as far as I know but Starbucks pricing. They don't really have any combo deals and they seem a little sloppy with their breakfast. This review is based on two visits, which included breakfast, take out lunch and two beverages "to go". I'll give a detail of the menu items I tried, other offerings, ambiance and service. On my first visit, I had the Lao Coffee. It was good enough to bring me back. I've never had Lao Coffee before, but really enjoyed it. It has a strong coffee flavor with cream and spices kind of like Thai tea. But there really is no comparison. This will be a rare treat as it only comes in regular, and I must have decaf. (Well, I SHOULD have decaf.) Returning the second time, I already decided I would try a breakfast item, take something for lunch and try two other beverages. I was not disappointed. Panada Waffles caught my eye. They are a brown and green pattern and are filled with coconut. Served warm or out of the case, they are great! I enjoyed mine as it was not too sweet, but with a nice coconut flavor. To compliment my waffle, I tried the Vietnamese coffee. While not as strong as the Lao coffee, it had a great flavor and was a great compliment to the waffle. For a take out lunch later in the day, I got the spring rolls. You get four nice sized rolls. Because I was not going straight home, I got the vegetarian rolls. A few hours later, I took them out of the fridge and they were as good as any I've had anywhere. Very good. Since I finished my coffee, and I had not enjoyed Bubble Tea for a while, I ordered it to go. It was a last minute choice, on a separate tab. When I was ready to leave, I was disappointed because I did not see it ready. Surprise!. She had made it up and put it in the fridge to keep it cold until I was ready. New York City is where I first discovered Bubble Tea, and this was just as good, if not better. The variety of gels and flavors is almost limitless. Preparing for this review, I scanned their menu on line to refresh myself. Boy, do they have a great variety. The display at the counter and the menu do not themselves justice for the variety that hides in the kitchen. Although it was 8:00 AM, I noticed what appeared to be a native family enjoying pho. The lady behind the counter said that all menu items are available all the time. Warning - They close at 7 PM. There is no alcohol. Decor is light and airy with plenty of windows for natural light. Housekeeping is spotless. My server behind the counter was very efficient, but a smile here and there would not hurt. It was hard to tell if she was having fun or not. All in all, go there. It is a bit out of my way, but I can see my wife and I stopping frequently for various yummies. read more

I love supporting new local business! I ordered 1 Vietnamese and it was so sweet so my other 2 orders to go the owner made a fresh batch, stronger and less sweet. That was really nice of him. Even though the Vietnamese coffee I order didn't taste like the real Vietnamese ice coffee, it was still good. The Vietnamese ice coffee tasted more like a Lao coffee . I also ordered their bubble tea wasn't good. The texture of an ice blended "boba tea" was really watery which is suppose to be like a frappe texture. Overall this is a cute coffee shop. Nice small coffee shop + food place. Clean ans The beef pho & chicken pho we would not recommend. The broth of both pho were not "clean/clear" (the best description we could think of).The chicken pad Thai was pretty good with a nice spice kick to it. We had 4 different drinks and we weren't thrilled with any of them. The milk tea was so sweet but the Thai tea was even WAY sweeter. We had to dilute it with water and let the ice melt... Literally it was like drinking up sugar syrup! The green tea we'll pass on I don't even know how to explain the way it taste -- not like the green tea flavor I'm used to drinking. The taro smoothie boba was alright but definitely can taste that artificial taste + sugar. Overall all 4 drinks were real sweet. The boba also had no flavor and did not have a good chewy consistency. We'll give this place a try again sometime in the future -- maybe it was just an off day! read more

I reccomend this place for everybody! Their fried rice is on a whole other level. The flavor is immaculate! As soon as it touches your tastebuds, you will be hit with waves of happiness. The pho is also phenomenal! The papaya salad is also one of the reasons I love this place so much. Usually the only papaya that is spicy for me is when my family makes it but they have levels of spice and the last level is spicy unlike some other places. I had the Pad Se Ew w/Milk Tea and my boyfriend had the combo Pho. The Pad Se Ew was really good. I too half home because it was quite a bit. The Milk tea was good but too sweet for my taste and not quite enough bobas (I love those tapioca balls of heaven). Pho was tasty and had a good amount of protein (some people are stingy with the shrimp-they werent!). They did put imitation king crab in it and that deducted some points. If you dont like cinnamon hints, this might not be for you. The place is small but cozy and clean. There is outside seating which I love. We'll be back. read more

Coffee Fusion - an interesting place. I suppose from the name, the "Fusion" part is really dominant when describing their offerings. Taking a look at the menu, they offer coffee/espresso drinks, classic American breakfast (bacon and eggs), Asian inspired pastries, and southeast Asian entrees. Not sure if they're known for coffee but clearly the banh mi is bringing in the customers, including me. I ordered combo meat banh mi and taro boba milk tea to go. I ordered the "regular" size boba, which I didn't realize that it was actually a small 12oz (I overlooked on the sign) and was kind of surprised to get a boba drink so little. I mean I guess it makes sense because they offer coffee drinks - 12oz equivalent to a "tall," but that size for boba didn't seem right. I'm just used to the larger boba teas with the plastic sealed top! Next time I'll order "large" which is 16oz I believe. As for the banh mi, I think I must have gone on a bad day or something because it was quite bland. I appreciated that they use carrot AND daikon, because many banh mi shops cut out the daikon to save on costs. However, for some reason the veggies were chopped up kind of chunky and weren't really pickled, which made the sandwich bland overall. The inside of the shop is nice, clean and quiet... maybe a little too quiet. No music or anything so it's a great place to study (which I did see someone on their laptop studying). The setup is only a little awkward since you kind of have to walk around the tables in order to get to the counter to order, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. I also saw a nice elderly couple enjoying their bacon and eggs. I appreciate the fact that Coffee Fusion wants to capture a wide array of customers, and I'm still willing to give it another go! In a world of chain restaurants, we are fortunate to happen upon small businesses like this one. Consider this me shouting from the rooftops that you need to take a trip to Murfreesboro and try Coffee Fusion. The difference is the people running it putting in that individual quality effort that comes from care, pride, talent and hard work---you won't find food or coffee this good in many other places. I had their Vietnamese iced coffee, steamed pork bun, banh mi sandwich, and my other half tried their beef pho soup. I really liked their steamed pork bun a lot. I liked how there is a lot of filling inside it. At some places, they have a big dough with a small amount of filling on the inside. Their steamed pork bun was also the perfect flavor, just how I like it. Their banh mi sandwich was pretty good. It came out toasted just how I like it. I had the combo meats one. I tasted the pho broth and I really liked the broth they had going on there. I liked how they have the water set up in the middle of the shop with ice in it. You just help yourself to a cup. All their condiments are also set up next to the water dispenser. They have all the condiments that goes into the pho soup there, so I really liked that they provided all the condiments we needed. They have other dishes there that is not on the menu, yet and I believe they are working to make a new menu. I talked to the owner and she told me that they have papaya salad, chicken wings, and laos style chicken noodle soup (ka piek). I saw a couple people eating the ladna dish and it looked really good.
