This is a super cool spot! Tons of things to browse, coffee and more. Pretty neat. I got a Pokémon frap and it was good. Very cute coffee menu.

Quirky fun place with great drinks. Coffees, teas, adult beverages and snacks. Great bar, lots of tables. Toys, puzzles, magic, music, and more. Come in, bring friends, drink, eat, play games, enjoy some show or music.

What a cool place this is there's a little bit for everybody. They have a stage for events they also have a variety of cool games. They have some regular players come in and play dungeons and dragons and other sorts. They have a coffee section with all kinds of specialty coffees. they also have a separate section that have beer and wine and you could even make your own concoctions. We met Piper super helpful, very personable and we love the drink she made for us. We actually got a storm trooper frappe and made it with cold brew coffee. So Very good. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to come back and try the beer and wine at night time and then check out some of the games and some of the other events that got going on check this place out you'll love it.

One of my favorite spots in Reno that always passes the vibe check and lets you be yourself. Whether it is having a fun drink, playing a tabletop game, or just looking for a great hangout. Definitely a must go.

What a cute idea for a hangout spot. Went here last time I was in town. Very adolescent focused but my friend and I went before school got out and had a great time. The drinks are pretty extreme from a sugary standpoint.

Great coffee shop with awesome drinks and cocktails! I recommend their Love Hashira (any Mitsuri Kanroji fans out there?), which is a matcha and strawberry frappé, as well as their Luck O' the Irish Coffee at the bar. This location has a weekly event going on, which is Cosplay Karaoke on Saturdays (you don't need to be in cosplay to participate!), and I always have fun whenever I go! They use the Karafun software, and if you don't know how to use it, simply find the poster with a QR code to browse their catalog of songs. They have a huge variety, from classic rock to Kpop, to the latest pop hits! They even have a few movie soundtracks you can sing to. Also, a close friend of mine, Piper, works at Coffee n Comics, and they have organized plenty of neat events, like Pride Week, as well as drag shows, and a few productions of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, in which I have been a part of. They also donated portions of the profits from these events to great causes, so please go to these events when you can! Give Piper a high five when you see them!

Pretty cool concept if you are into comics and the coffee is really good. Opted for sugar free Carmel machiatto. Could not tell the difference of the sugar free.

Great place to grab coffee and hang out. There are puzzles and games while you are there. I enjoyed the spacious of the seating area to spread out.

The had a wide variety of different cards and comics, had an amazing lavender latte. Only problem I would say it's really tight and not the most handicap accessible. Worker was cool but could tell he didn't want to be there at the same time. Overall decent experience

Every special event that I see put on by Coffee and Comics I try to be there. I saw there was a "maid cafe" and it sounded like a great Sunday funday afternoon activity. A friend and I met up there, and it took a bit to get in, but everyone was dressed up as some type of a maid which was super fun. There was coloring pages, anime themed, and depending on the package you ordered, in our case cocktails and food items. My only hope was that since this was a special event that there would be themed food and cocktail items. There was a dance performance, a raffle (which I won!), Sanrio trivia. I ordered a quiche which was amazing, and we started out with a dessert. They even had a fun photo opp at the end. I noticed everyone was picking one or two of the maids, when I asked to cram everyone in they were great sports. Had the best time!

Been a customer for a couple of years and my experience has been amazing at first and then ok. Since they open the location at Reno Public Market Zachery has made my experience a billion times better. You can tell here cares and is a solid person. They carry so much cool stuff. If you need guidance and a place to feel comfortable make sure you talk to Zach. Oh yeah there apple caramel drink is delicious too. You just need to go to the other locations.

I was wandering about and stopped in for a coffee drink. I had heard of this, but had no idea. This place is so cool! Funky, a bit nerdy (in a very good way), clean, and very welcoming. So much to see and browse. Great music and vibes here, and the coffee is great! They have a full bar that operates after 5, but some beers on tap are available with the extensive coffee menu. They host several events...Cos-Play Karaoke anyone? I'll be back for more!

May the fourth be with you fun

This is my favorite watering hole for a few reasons. First, it happens to be close to where I live…read morebecause second, they drinks are free flowing and I can walk home if I must. Third, I just like playing nickel video poker in a relaxed environment and when it's at the bar, even better. Drinks come faster that way. Speaking of drinks, they have the well stuff for the rookies who just order a rum and coke or gin and tonic. But for those in the know, all you have to do is ask for the good stuff and they will pour it for you, and they do have the good stuff. Full disclosure, they are a whiskey bar first and foremost, so they have more of that than anything else, but just to name a few others, they do have DonQ rum and Don Julio tequila so unless you are a high maintenance drinker, you can find what you are looking for. It is also worth noting that they bill themselves as a craft cocktail bar, which means they can and will make you a very nice mixed drink, speaking of the high maintenance among us. There are pool tables and leagues are a regular thing here as well as a nice little William Hill sportsbook in the corner. It closes early though, so keep that in mind. There are no less than a dozen beers on tap at any given time as well as several bottle and can options. Plenty of TV's above the bar and Direct TV, so they get almost anything you are looking for. The bar slots seem to be pretty loose most of the time and although I rarely play video Keno, I have seen many people cash out hundreds of dollars on a fairly regular basis playing it. Now for the bad...It is a truck stop bar and that in itself is not a bad thing, but sometimes, well...Truckers can be a lot to take in. Also, you will come home smelling like smoke. Otherwise, stop by if you are in the 'hood and take a look for yourself. Good place to pregame. If nothing else, check out the gun collection throughout the casino and bar, it is worth the trip alone.

It really does not taste anything like an "old fashioned" but it's very good and my usual go-to. Ambiance is cool. Has a very Edgar Alan Poe vibe mixed with an alchemist/speakeasy. Love the quality of the drinks as they absolutely put effort and time making quality drinks with quality ingredients. It's relatively small inside so I can only imagine it could get packed in there. We had several drinks and every single one was perfection! The bathroom is the cutest and they have the coolest speakeasy door that the employees use to get to the back (not for the customers). My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

A friend and I had discussed venturing somewhere for drinks and Tipsys was what popped in my head. Low and behold it was ladies night even better. I had saw a cotton candy drink and showed it to my friend and that was all the convincing that was needed! It was the perfect chill and relaxing vibe after a long and busy week. I love the glow of the place and the music was good. There was even security on site which is always good. We were fortunate enough to have Valerie the owner behind the counter, during my very first time to Tipsy's she was behind the counter. Most of the drinks for ladies night were $10, there were some really fun ones that were outside of that that are on my list for next time including a ducky in a bathtub, and even having a cocktail in a purse. I enjoyed chatting and commending Valerie for her and her families' creative business ventures. I loved learning about a new business soon to open- the Social Club which will be on Victorian. I love how more nightlife is coming to downtown Sparks to revitalize the area down there. I had been in the area and saw the signage and got super excited. I even learned that Señor Tequila's was a family member's business wow- so cool! I thought the drink- which was a special - Daydreaming which consisted of mango, passionfruit and prosecco. It was a beautifully served drink and tasted amazing. My friend even asked Valerie for some extra cotton candy and she was sweet enough to serve us extra in cups. Totally would have stayed to try more cocktails but my friend wanted to venture. Can't wait to come back to venture the ducky drink and some other cutesy ones.

Recently went for the Father's Day Buffet. After learning they only offer the brunch buffet 3 times…read morea year (Easter, Mothers Day, & Fathers Day) we decided to try the buffet as it would be the last one since until Easter 2027. The staff and restaurant were lovely as always, and you really can't beat the views from dining on the outdoor patio overlooking the Marina. If you have general hesitations when it comes to buffet food, you can put them at ease when at the Water Bar, as even the typical 'filler food' like salad and mashed potatoes were out-of-this-world good. I'm not kidding when I say their buffet-style Caesar Salad was better than any made-to-order Caesar I've had. Same goes for their garlicy mashed potatoes, they were heavenly! The poached prawns were prepared perfectly, and the snow crab legs and claws were delicious and easy to eat (if you're used to shelling your own crab). The soy-glazed salmon with wild rice was surprisingly flavorful and melted in my mouth. Even the mac & cheese was rich and creamy- I can't think of a single item I tried that was sub-par. I ended the meal with a slice of carrot cake that I kept thinking about long after I left. It was moist and well-spiced with a very decadent frosting, the perfect end to a delicious brunch. I will say, we weren't aware the cost per person for the buffet was $80 (it wasn't displayed on the buffet menu, our server didn't share this when telling us about the buffet, and we didn't ask). We have no regrets on opting for the brunch buffet, as again all the food was truly incredible. However, an $80 price tag will likely keep us from opting for the brunch buffet again in the future.

We decided to sit on the patio inspite of it being a very hot day. They have made some well needed update to the "outdoor" seating since the last time I was here. It is now enclosed wth glass and huge umbrellas to provide shade. It was definitely warm, but the view of the Marina is always worth it. We were seated right away and were given menus to peruse while they brought our drinks - no "Wet Woody" so iced tea and an Arnold Palmer fit the bill. The glasses are bottomless - a definite plus. We shared an order of deep-fried Zucchini with dipping sauce. Most excellent. My friended ordered the Dungeness Crab Cakes and I got the Teriyaki Salmon Salad. Both were good. My salad was huge! I had enough left over to take for lunch. Our service was good, a little slow in getting the Arnold Palmer, but otherwise all went well. Chris and Tomas were our servers. Yes, it is worth a return visit.

A wonderful magic show inside the Grand Sierra Hotel & Casino…read more I was looking for something to do without leaving the hotel for a major conference. I saw that they were advertising this show...and I like a good magic show. It did not disappoint. The sleight of hand and on-stage demonstrations were incredible. I was still banging my head of how they did it or maybe it was the cocktail at the bar that was playing tricks on my mind. As a guest of the hotel, I had a 20% coupon and promptly used it at the ticket office, though I think I should have picked my seat better. Nonetheless, I was in the second row and I was able to get a good look of the magic up close. If you arrive early, you can hang out for Happy Hour, they had some unique drinks including the local standby beers and cocktails...and mocktails for those attending the all-ages show. I recommend seeing this show on a Friday or Saturday night if you want a bit more rambunctious, racy show.

After happy hour ended a bud light and high noon was $18. I can't believe they turned the old movie theater into a magic show theater. I sat there thinking about all the movies I saw at the Hotel and the first time I had a drink in a movie theater so long ago, 1989. It was fun in the bar prior to the doors opening they have a magical experience for adults and kids to set the mood for the evening. Tracy the bartender was awesome! She also works at Blitz during the day. She has the kindest soul and such a people person! It was like I had known her for years. They have a box office where you can purchase tickets. Very hard to hear the gal! They definitely need a microphone to speak to each other. If you think you're going to save a few extra dollars on those service fees - you may have to think twice, just purchase on line. It's much easier. Also, they have a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn $9 -$13 and huge pretzels $14. Chase Hasty and his wife have traveled around the world to over 25 countries sharing their magical talent and ballet dancing skills. My favorite part of the show was when Chase brought out a locked box and Hoisted the box with a rope up to the ceiling and told this guy to watch the box. Later in the show they opened the box, it was a pretty impressive trick!!! One not to be forgotten!! It's a small production but well thought out with couple extra dancers and costumes changes. I love that Chase, picks people out of the audience to help with the show. Maddox was a return kid that had been practicing his magic and Chase let him perform in front of the audience and what is that called "That's Magic!!!" It's nice the performers will met you afterwards in the hallway to have pictures and ask questions. It's a great family night or you can come to the later show at 9pm for a little more risky nocturnal show. I'll have to save that one for another time!
