A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. I kind of struck out on the first drink I ordered though (the black sesame espresso, half sweet). I usually find specialty coffee drinks way to sweet and half-sweet is normally not a problem but I think I screwed up this beverage with my modification. Still, the cold foam was not that foamy or tasty and I found myself with a cup full of ice and no beverage after a couple sips. Wouldn't order again. The next time I came, the place was packed and there wasn't a single seat available which is good for them but disappointing for me. I ended up ordering the strawberry coconut cloud to go, since I already had enough caffeine for the day. What a delicious and refreshing drink! I'd absolutely get this again (or a different version). So overall, not a dependable spot to land if you want to work as it's often busy and all the seats are taken. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other drinks though, especially the egg cream or corn coffee drinks.

It's not bitter, overly sweet, or too plain. Everything we tried tasted consistent and intentional. The prices are a little on the higher side, but based on the quality, I think it's worth it. Usually my go-to stop in Long Beach for coffee because it's super convenient to get to, but parking can be tough!

My boyfriend and I were looking for some coffee after eating at Poke Pub. We saw this place on Yelp and decided to walk over. I honestly was just expecting to pick up a simple coffee and think nothing of it, but we saw their display of different pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes/cake slices, baklava, and turkish delights. It all looked so tempting so we chose the baklava and ultimately added their rose and cinnamon turkish delight to our order :P Additionally, the customer service we were met with really gave me a pick me up! I appreciated the friendly service from both the owner, Alp, and the worker :) Coffee: We got two iced deja brews. The coffee itself has a nice rounded flavor. Not too bitter, nothing too overpowering, and a soft coffee profile. Desserts: The. Best. Baklava. I've ever had. Often times a lot of places have overly sweet baklava with not enough pistachios. This baklava had a perfect balance of pistachios with a light sweetness that was just chefs kisses. Get the pistachio cream drizzled on top! The worker had suggested it to us and even gave us a sample to try it before adding it to the pastry and it was so so good. First time trying turkish delights and while the cinnamon was a bit strong, the rose had a lightly sweet and floral taste. The rose turkish delight was recommended by the worker and it was my favorite between the cinnamon and rose! Ambiance: Very cute, cozy, and trendy place. If you're looking for a place to chill with your friends, this is the spot! Loved the incorporation of plants with enough furniture to sit and relax. Service: I was feeling a bit tired, but walked over to pick up some coffee for a friend and for my boyfriend. This review is long overdue!! I lived in the apartments right next door, so I've been a customer since Daily Dose first opened last year, and I have many things to say. I have always been greeted by a friendly face. The staff and owners are so nice, and I am happy to support this business. It is usually not too crowded or loud, so it is the perfect place to study or meet up with friends and hang out. There is lots of seating inside and outside, and it's just got good vibes. I love that they rotate through different art on the wall to support local artists as well! Speaking of art, I never knew toast could be so beautiful. My go-to is usually the avocado toast or the berry toast, and I have never been disappointed!! If I'm super hungry, I'll get an açaí bowl because that thing is ginormous. The one I had today was the most beautiful creation I've ever seen, and it inspired me to finally write this review. Typically, I get a latte, but if it's hot outside, I like getting the lemonade cold brew, which sounds disgusting but is actually super delicious and refreshing. I've brought my dogs in a couple times, and it's a huge plus that they are dog-friendly. They have a water bowl outside for them, and there are a couple dog treats on the menu too. I'm pretty sure the dog treats are human-grade. Regardless, I definitely took a bite out of the berry yogurt one once out of curiosity and was not upset. I'd do it again. Maybe I'd feel different about spending $9 dollars on a iced coffee if it was actually quality!!! This store was previously known as plant Plant Junkie and is going through a rebranding. I wanted to like this place so bad, it's super cute inside. The minimalist interior is beautiful and I loved the featured black art they had in the Lobby. Every time I've come into this establishment there is only one person is working behind the counter, taking orders, making drinks and running food. That alone really helped me make my mind up to stop coming here. You can really tell when a business doesn't treat their staff well. The man working the counter in the evenings looks overwhelmed while he runs around the shop looking for things. Coffee in the mornings was better quality and the girls in the front are more friendly and helpful but if you're coming in the evening for a hot drink don't even bother. I'm disappointed that there are not more vegan options considering it use to be a vegan smoothie shop. There are no vegan cream cheese choices and limited non dairy milks. Seriously no hemp milk? Half of the items on the menu are also unavailable, why even have a dog menu if the items are never available. My whole experience there was underwhelming to say the least. Don't let this place fool you it is not a mom and pop shop just another rich business coming in and Gentrifying District 2. Only giving this 2 stars because some of the previous staff is here and they're the sweetest! read more

The quality of the food and ambience is nice! Good clean food. However, every person I seem to encounter here has an awful attitude. I asked the girl taking my order if there was anything she recommended for a sweet but tart drink. She scoffed at me, gave me a dirty look, then tilted her head down and mumbled that she didn't think there was anything like that..I then kept looking at the menu and saw an item that literally was titled "tart". She was extremely rude to us and on top of that it was $50.50 for 2 juices and 2 medium sized sandwiches. That normally wouldn't bother me but the vile attitude of the employee was extremely off putting. Like I mentioned before, everytime I come in it's someone with the same attitude problem. In conclusion, food is pretty good. The staff should entirely be replaced. read more

Im giving this place 1 star instead of zero, so I can write about what I just experienced. I just recently got banned from this coffee shop from a worker, who I presume is the owner. He said "I cannot welcome you back into my shop, because you're always staring at me and you're making me uncomfortable." I told him "Sir, I was not staring at you I was just looking around. I always look around, because why not." He then tells me "you stare at everyone and make them feel uncomfortable as well." This is absolutely incorrect because I mainly play uno. This behavior is highly inappropriate and unacceptable it's 2024, we should not ban men who are very flamboyant just because they're "staring" and making people "uncomfortable" read more

This place sucks, over hyped and over priced. Someone recommended this place to me at the Ube festival so I thought I'd give it a shot. I saw the pictures on Yelp of how big the Açaí Bowls are so that's what pulled me but was disappointed. When the girl in front of me got hers, she looked confused by the new bowls and smaller portions too. I decided on the "Lemonaid" instead, they clearly stole this Idea from Rosa Park Roasters up the street. Major Fail. Bitter coffee and over sweet lemonade. Not to mention the staff is rude and seemed like they didn't want anyone in there, no wonder the place is empty every time I walk by. The açaí bowl place that use to be there was way better. Cute cafe in the Pine District with juices and smoothies. Came here with the lovely fellow elite yelper Blair T around 6ish for a little pick me up and we both got really tasty drinks. I opted for the metabolism green juice was had a nice tartness and tasted super fresh. The tart smoothie was well blended and not too sweet either, which I enjoyed. I feel like this place buys their reviews? all the good reviews are from Yelp elites and all the bad ones are from actual customers that have come in. My experience here was very disappointing, just a bunch of stuck up little girls on their phones. the owner doesn't seem to care about the quality of product and seems to not acknowledge mistake on the menu. This place is super empty and not busy all the times I walked by, nothing really special to see, plenty of other good coffee shops around the area. read more

Even after the cashier finally showed up, it took the one barista some time to make my drink. I waited somewhere around 15-20 minutes for the drink itself (not counting waiting on the cashier to show up and take an order). For a weekend afternoon, the wait was unexpected. Ambiance was cute though; it's tastefully decorated inside and people seemed to sit and chat in there. Very loungey feel. Drinks (3/5): The On My Way! Latte was okay. I got it light ice and it was way milkier than I would have preferred. The Bees In A Trap tonic that I got for my husband was more balanced, unique and refreshing on a hot day, but for $9, the value wasn't quite there. Overall, the drinks were okay, but they were not exceptional. Maybe it was an off day and in the middle of a shift change too. The place seems popular for being new, so perhaps there are some adjustments that still need to be made, especially for those expecting a higher level of caffeinated goodness at the current price point.

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. Driving up to Onda, the entrance in is so small and unassuming that I missed it the first go around and had to double back to enter. Once I did, I drove a bit past the stand to park in the empty spots just next to the bright blue building. There were about five people in front of me which totaled to a 20 minute wait time (it was the weekend), so it's perfect to come to when you're having a chill morning but I would keep that in mind if you're rushing to work. Think of this as your favorite matcha spot for catching up with a friend or responding to texts from the week, while you wait. I ordered the Basic Croffle & the Double matcha with matcha cold foam and woooooowww, let me tell you. I loved every second of it. I didn't want anything too sweet so the kind man at the register window recommended the double matcha and it was precisely what I was looking for. The matcha was strong, in a good way, and kept me feeling awake and creative for the entire afternoon. The croffle (croissant waffle) was exquisite and I looooved trying something new!! Overall, a great local spot in humble surroundings with a laid back vibe and delicious drinks & treats!

It's a bit tight, but there's also some street parking outside the plaza. I tried the taro coffee which uses an ube taro cream on top of their coffee, and it was delicious! I ordered it less sweet and appreciated that it indeed wasn't very sweet, so I could better taste the coffee! I also tried their matcha latte (less sweet), and it was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's the best matcha spot that I've tried before, but it was pretty good! Would recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area!

Their coffee overall is really good though! The environment and space is cool and comfortable. I would recommend to come inside as the outside looks different from the inside which it's more spacious once you get in. Overall I'm around this area a lot and it's a walking distance from where i usually am so I'll be here again:)
