I wanted to try a new coffee shop in the area, so after leaving my hospice cases, I decided to check Yelp for one nearby and ended up here. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly young lady at the cashier. I mentioned that I was there to Yelp and wanted to take some photos of the artwork on the walls. A few of the pictures I snapped might be useful for anyone looking for art classes. I noticed some food options on Yelp for the day, and I was definitely in the mood for a tasty lunch. Unfortunately, all they had was pastries in a glass display, which looked a bit stale to me. With prices ranging from $4.50 to $6 for a small dessert, I decided to skip it. On the bright side, I did try their pistachio latte, which typically comes with matcha. Since I'm not a fan of matcha, they kindly took it out and made it more of an espresso latte. It was absolutely delicious, and the sweetness was just right! I definitely want to come back when I'm in the area again where I am much needed for a cold drink since this was only 3 minutes away from one of my hospice cases so I would give it a 3.7 not having availability on the food options.

I walked into a calm coffee shop with light music playing in the background, well furnished interior, great artwork the wall by Ziv Sade. Had a genuine greeting at the register. I ordered an iced cookie latte, which proved to be perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Saw the vegan pastries, looked good, will try next time. Overall a great experience, will definitely return.

The drinks here were a little disappointing sadly. I was super excited when I saw their specialty and seasonal drinks. But as soon as my Kermie came out, which is a matcha with pistachio milk, I could tell already right off the bat that this was not a good quality matcha. It was pretty watery and I was just expecting more. The Live Lav Love had a better consistency but I'm just not a lavender person so it wasn't for me (not the coffee shop's fault though!). I wonder if the hot drinks may be better. However, the space inside is very spacious so it makes for a good spot to hang out if you're in search of that!

The coconut hazelnut latte is absolutely delicious if you like those flavors! I love coconut but don't often like coconut in coffee but this drink was an exception. The proportions were just right and not too sweet. Service was solid / fast. Vibe is modern/cozy.

Solid food, drinks, and desserts that are all vegan! Cute ambiance, and friendly service too :) This is a great little coffee spot to work, chill, or enjoy something delicious. Whether you're vegan or not, it's definitely a delight to visit. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4.5/5 Overall: 4.33/5

Decided to try this place out since it's been on my list. It has beautiful clean bohemian type aesthetic that is nice for getting some work done. It's also completely vegan. I wanted the Cookie Butter latte but they were out of the syrup for it so I opted for the Coozelnut Latte which is a coconut and hazelnut latte with cinnamon, it was ok but I felt it was a bit weak and I like a bolder coffee taste. The food item I ordered was the major disappointment which was the ricotta jam toast. The vegan ricotta and jam was actually very great but the toast was so hard it was barely edible. Also I ordered apricot jam and got strawberry instead but it was fine because I ended up liking the strawberry. To no fault of his own, there was only one person working to take orders and make the drinks and food. He was super nice though and answered all my questions which I appreciated! I just don't think vegan is for me, or I tried this place on an off day. But it may be worth a try for others. It seemed to be a popular spot as indicated by the high traffic I observed throughout the afternoon.

The girls working were very friendly. There was a matcha latte and a horchata latte and I wanted both and they offered to mix it for me and it was really tasty! Good price and great quality. The Inside was spacious and very clean. I will be back

I'm vegetarian so it's really nice that I can just go somewhere and order whatever I want without worrying about the ingredients! The service and warmth of this place is phenomenal- there's a great balance of community and productivity in this space and I believe that business will thrive in the coming years! I loved their spice a peel latte and their snacks are tasty too! I would definitely check this place out if you're looking for a catch-up session with friends or an aesthetic place to get some work done!

Went to Wood Coffee Co on my lunch break with a co-worker to read our books, and we both agreed that it was the perfect setting to relax. It is a plant-based, queer-owned company with a warm, comfy, and intimate vibe. There is street parking in adjacent neighborhoods, and the area is pretty walkable. We both ordered off the spring specials menu - I ordered the "Sarah Rose," a matcha latte with house made rose syrup. The matcha tasted fresh and creamy, so refreshing. The rose syrup was very light - I almost didn't taste it until the end of the drink. My friend got the "Live Lav Love," but asked if the cold brew could be lavender-based to match the lavender cold foam. The barista was very enthusiastic and accommodating. Initially, it seemed like there was only one barista working, taking orders, and making drinks. Because of this, it took a little while to get our drinks. Another barista eventually joined the first, and things seemed to move a bit faster. All in all, it was a cute place to spend some down time, and I'd definitely go back!

Iced Pumpkin Americano

Stopped by to get some work done and grab a caffeinated beverage. They were out of cold brew so I got the recommended iced pumpkin Americano. I think I've found my new fall drink! It was amazing, not too sweet and not too bitter --just right. The shop has a cozy welcoming ambiance and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Love this shop and it wasn't too crowded or too loud.

Quality coffee with a spacious work/study space. Coffee: we got the cookie butter and cinnamon roll lattes, with an extra shot. SO STRONG lol, stick with the regular dose of caffeine. The coffee is amazing. The cinnamon roll is 10/10. Not too sweet. Pastries: I didn't try any but the pop tarts were heart shaped and I was so tempted. Service: we ordered online for pickup, but they don't make it til you arrive. Which was fine, I'm glad bc we were running late so it was nice and fresh. Space: it's very spacious with bar style seating all around the perimeter, couches in the corners, long tables in the middle. Tons of space to spread out laptops, books etc. large windows so it's bright, airy and open. Def will be coming back to work/study!

Decaf mocha and Liv Lov Lav iced coffee

Great space - delicious coffee! Popped in right before closing. Nolan was so welcoming and knowledgeable - evident he takes pride in his coffee offerings - even decaf was a solid roast. Got a broadway show rec to boot!

This place is an absolute (plant-based) treasure and you must protect it at all costs. We've driven past this place hundreds of times, curious but never quite taking the bait. Yesterday morning, there was parking right out front (score!, because 10th Street parking can be gnarly at times) so we just went for it. This shop is SO beautiful. Like just the aesthetic made me want to stay. Everything seemed super clean and chill, and the barista behind the counter was super low-key and friendly. I ordered the Kermie, which was a special matcha on menu served with vanilla and pistachio milk. It was delicately sweet, with the grassy, slightly bitter edge from the matcha smoothed out by the vanilla and pistachio milk. Milder than I had anticipated but delicious nonetheless. It took a lot of willpower to not bat my eyelashes and use my best Miss Piggy voice when talking about it later. I got a pumpkin choco chip muffin for my toddler. It was delicious, slightly dense (true form for a vegan muffin) and very moist. The child gobbled it all up, with minimal crumbs in his wake. Price wise, slightly expensive. However, you're paying for quality and the experience of just existing in this beautiful space. Is it worth it? I believe so.

They had a notable buttery taste to them which was rich and pleasant. I believe they were coated with a cornflake cereal which gave them a proper crunch. When I entered there were already 3 other groups seated. I didn't realize until after I ordered at the kiosk (there is no wait staff) that no one had any food. We ordered the Caesar salad & wrap as well as fries and a cookie. It took about 30 to 40 minutes for the first salad to arrive and about 15 minutes after that for the wrap which was made with ingredients we had asked to omit. Weirdly, the wrap came with avocado slices on the side instead of inside of the wrap which was very strange. The French fries came a few minutes after the wrap and they had the consistency of a wet noodle covered in oil with little to no seasoning. The salad and wrap were OK taste-wise but I could have easily made a better salad at home. The fried chicken that comes with it was mushy and served cold. The cookie was fine, good large size and a lot of chocolate chips which was nice. But again, I could have made myself a better cookie at home. Ultimately I'd rather have saved the money and stayed home.

Firstly, since it's all plant-based, I was able to eat literally anything off the menu, which is always delightful. Started the meal with a Tricolore Salad and the Pizza Montanara for appetizers. The Salad was good, best when you can get a bit of every ingredient in each bite. The Pizza Montanara was hotter than magma when we received it, but once it cooled and we were able to tear it into pieces, it was very, very good. These two items themselves would be a great light meal. We had glasses of red wine with the main course, which paired well with the pastas we chose. One Vesuvio, which was really tasty with a little chili heat (not so much so that it made eating it a rough job,) and another pasta dish that I can't recall the name of that was very lemony and cooling. We both shared these dishes and the alternating between the two very different flavor profiles was really fun. The online menu doesn't have these pastas listed in the "Dinner" section, but the in-store menu did. The only thing that was kind of a bummer was that they were out of things like meatballs, olives, and a couple other items, but we were still able to choose dishes that were delicious. The restaurant's vibe is very laidback and like, elevated casual, if that makes sense. They have great little water glasses and everything has a modern feel, from the green decor accents to the fancy pasta forks, which are the first of their kind I've ever seen. The bathroom had a bidet, which was my first experience with the same, and it was cool and fun. Thorough! I laughed at the sticker on the bidet saying it WILL spray you in the face. All in all, this was a fantastic experience. Definitely be patient with finding parking, as we all know how 4th Street is. This will likely become a favorite celebration meal destination.

I will say the prices are on the high side, but since it is vegan I do understand why they might be that way. We waited quite a while for our food. We noticed the parties that were here before us still did not get their food either. Luckily, we were not in a rush to get back to work that day. The food was not bad for imitation meat. I especially enjoyed the fries with the vegan aioli. I also liked the crunchy crust of the mock fried chicken. I was a little bit disappointed in the service because our server never came in to check on us. Our glasses were empty, and we needed refills, but she was nowhere to be found. This place wasn't too bad. I can't say I eat at a lot of vegan restaurants and am not a vegan myself, but I thought the food was great for a vegan restaurant. The issue was the lack of service. By all means not here to sh*t on the business because we still want to come here to support them. However, last Saturday I believe was the 5/23/26, they had an event and an artist guest came and performed for the guests. It was nice, but it was also very packed in there with people out the door. We snuck through the back just to get in, people standing and blocking traffic because there was no room and space. We had to wait in a small crammed isle area towards the bathroom. It took awhile for our simple togo order to get done--which was also mistakenly given to someone else. They couldn't figure out simple logistics. There were also others who got wrong orders while we stood there waiting. They had to re-make people's pizzas while the pizza had to be given away for free because it had already been touched. My gripe is that in the future, if you're having an event, (maybe they do this here all the time), please have a floor manager to alleviate the crowd and simple operations and logistics to handle the lines, the crowd control, and providing fast and accurate service. Not just making the food right, but with time, and a comfortable environment. They could have made it more. It was so busy, that they either looked to be short-staffed or got confused on a lot of their orders. In short, in the future their manager should do better in operations and executing the the transactions to flow more smoothly. If you're having a guest performer, find a way to also make that work better. Maybe make people not block the pathways, more chairs or seating outside, have a bigger venue or open some areas to fit better..maybe they like this intimate atmosphere but it did not work for half of the guests there just trying to get in and out. This review is not to burn the spot but to encourage them do better in the future. Parking is a bit of a game of chance thanks to the tiny lot, so plan accordingly. Once you're inside though, the restaurant is super clean, modern, and the service is fast and attentive. We started with the papaya salad. It was just okay--I'm still trying to figure out why there was a blanket of romaine lettuce casually lounging on top. I ordered medium spice, which turned out to be "medium if you breathe fire for fun." The papaya was also a little more raw than I personally like. The tom kha soup was decent, but the real MVP was the drunken noodles with beef. Those noodles were absolutely swimming in savory goodness and perfectly soft. I would've happily ordered a second plate and called it "dessert." Overall, I'd definitely come back--mostly because those drunken noodles are already living rent-free in my head.

My family and I were heading to the Aquarium of the Pacific and wanted to find a good dinner spot…read morenearby afterward. I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.
