When I came by on a Sunday afternoon, almost every table was full and there was a line out the door. However, service was very quick and I was able to find a clean table to sit at. I really enjoyed their iced caramel latte. The coffee was smooth and the caramel flavor had a light nuttiness to it. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of their food items!

The area was smaller than expected, but clean with a limited selection of bakeries and lots of cake slices. I was surprised to see how expensive the cakes were, even some of my favorite breads like the coconut cream were closer to $4 each! Unfortunately, given the current economy, I believe this is now the standard cost of dessert breads. I got two breads and one drink! The green tea bun was great- there was a generous amount of filling, and the combo of mochi with cream was very satisfying. The pineapple bun was also delicious, I loved that there was filling inside which kind of reminded me of a cocktail bun/custard bun. Both breads had the standard Asian bakery texture that I love- soft, chewy, and not too sweet or dense. The milk tea flavor was a great combo, though I found the drink to be pretty sweet at 50%. Of the two pastries, the green tea is my favorite! Overall, the bakery tasted as good as I remembered. However, given its prices, I don't see myself coming back often.

The lady was super nice. It's a tiny place and a one-woman run shop. It was a personable and cute experience. I wanted a fancy iced coffee because it was a bright and sunny day in Issaquah. I chose Kathy's special mocha, which was a white coffee with chocolate and caramel. It was delicious. Not too sweet, but very creamy. It didn't even taste like coffee, which makes me wonder what white coffee means. The little coffee shop also has a variety of other drinks some of them involving red bull or lotus energy. I liked the creativity, but I'd personally only come here for coffee and maybe a smoothie or one of their baked goods. They also have sandwiches. There was a daily special sign that said specialty drinks are 10% off, but I didn't see the sign until after I ordered and idk if my drink counted as a specialty drink or if I got the discount. Haha. Oh well. It felt good to support a local business even though drinks are half off at Starbucks every Friday in May. They weren't getting much other business while I was there even though the taco place was crowded with people. I felt a little bad. I'm like well that's a weird time to close. So I ask what time they close and she says 5 o'clock. Look. I was a barista for 7 years. I get cleaning up but I always left a side of the machine til close. Hell I would have been okay if she said I just cleaned my machines but I can offer energy, tea etc they don't even require clean up. If you're open til 5 be open til 5. If google and maps says 6 please fix it because I went thru traffic wasting time trying to support your business. I wouldn't have tried to make it minutes before close if that was accurate. And employee girl- do better. For your boss and for your customers... if you're open til 5 be open til 5. You can manage your time efficiently to have it closed and cleaned. But also just care about the business and people. Not just about getting out of there. Trust me the world notices.
