Super lame! One of the mazes was literally a chain link fence maze with nothing in it. If you remember this from previous years it's completely different and way worse, gone are the haunted houses. It's now all open air mazes that if you're even close to 6' tall you can see over them. Might be worth $25, but I wouldn't waste your money of evening. Only redeeming quality was the scare actors seemed pretty into it, otherwise this place is a sad version of its former self. read more

Leaving this review because I'm already getting emails from the coffin creek newsletter about purchasing tickets for this year, and I feel the need to advise others against spending their hard earned money here. Last year was a serious disappointment and the biggest waste of money I've ever spent for any type of Halloween event. As someone who has been attending CC for the past 5 years, last year was the most expensive and by far the worst. They no longer use their faire grounds area for the hayride, maze, or vendors that used to be there. There were no mazes on top of the hill like previous years, hardly any scare actors, and hardly any effort put into the mazes that were there. Buying the tickets felt like a total scam. It felt like something thrown together last minute. I truly do hope that the CC organizers read these comments and work with the feedback that has been shared on here because if they actually put in the effort with their mazes, hire more scare actors, utilize the space on the land the way they used to, and charge REASONABLE prices for tickets, it would be a huge improvement. I really miss what coffin creek used to be and I know that they can be an awesome Halloween experience if they truly try. Unfortunately, will not be attending this year, but maybe next year if they get their act together. read more

Many years ago, this place was amazing for Halloween haunted houses. It was never a Knotts or Universal, but it was good for the price. They had hay rides, lots of vendors, and great haunted houses. Especially loved the Crypt areas. Went back in 2024, and it was a total disappointment.. it felt like a high school haunted carnival. It was totally overpriced, even with the discounted coupon. Great experience. The mazes were creative and scary. Well done on the design and creativity. Had a lot of fun and got scared often. Pretty creepy. A bit pricey. I get it though. I was worried when I saw all of the negative reviews, but we went with friends and their 11yo daughter, and had a lot of fun doing the Breach and Witch mazes. It's not elaborate like Knott's, but if you go in just expecting a few laughs and a few unexpected scares, it's entertaining. We probably had more fun because the 11yo was with us and reacting to everything. Teens won't like it if they compare it to Knott's. The mazes are outdoors and only about 10 minutes long. Parking is $5 cash on a dirt lot. They take cash or card for the mazes ($17 per maze or $49 for all 4). The little shop stands had some cute skeleton items for sale too. read more

This was a nice spur of the moment. Surprise village went to visit some friends, and we decided we wanted to do some thing Halloweenish and we found this awesome little gem. Of course it's not you're not scary farm or horror nights, but it definitely is a fun place to gather with friends and two of the mazes can't recall what the names were right now I'm sorry oh think one of them was the breach and that one was a little intimidating to be honest overall, I think you should really hop in your car and drive over with a few friends and enjoy the five mazes they're worth the price read more

The 2025 Coffin Creek at the Perris fairgrounds does not exist. I received emails before Labor Day offering discount tickets if you bought early and saying they were moving the location. Their website also indicated that Pink hot dogs was their official food sponsor. We waited in a half hour line to get on to the fairgrounds another 20 minutes to get through and pay for parking and then find a spot; at least 20 minutes to get a ticket to enter the fair and wait in their lines and get through security. Finally entering the fairgrounds we could find no signage or any indication of where the haunts would be. We walked from one end of that fair to the other and there was nothing there. We stopped at Pink's Hot dogs and ask them twice if they had any idea since they were supposed to be the sponsor and they didn't know anything except for the pumpkin patch which was supposed to be associated with the haunts was at one end of the fairgrounds near the animal barns. Don't go save your money and your time! We will be reporting them to our credit card company and requesting a refund for fraud. Coffin Creek Haunted Village has become a must for us during the Halloween season. Tickets: Front of the line passes are not needed if you're going early in the season, but would highly recommend as you get closer to Halloween. The queues can get a bit long. Nothing like Knott's or Universal Studios. You can usually save some money if you sign up for their newsletters as they tend to do deals before they officially open. Scares: I love that they only let small groups in at a time. I'm easily jumpy, but this just takes the stress level up a notch. The actors do a great job and some of the decor/scenery is downright creepy! Parking: It's dark and bumpy. Don't wash your car beforehand and know that it will feel like you're doing a bit of off-roading at times. Food and drink: They have vendors onsite, but they're pricey. There's some restaurant/bar options to enjoy before or after within a 5-10 minute drive. read more

ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this place charges people a lot of their hard-earned money for an below mediocre experience. The "fast pass" isn't all that fast either. Three out of the five mazes have mesh fencing so you can see right through the walls way ahead before they "jump scare" you. The monsters felt more like people from high school you don't want to run into. One maze is literally just plain wired fencing and the goal is to find the exit in "score time." The only semi-decent maze was "the breach." It's super dark so you'll get about 2 or 3 solid jump scares. The whole experience felt lazy and derpy. People left feeling disappointed. Wow what a disappointment. This is probably the 5th time I've been here, including as recently as last year, and it was terrible this year despite also being the most expensive year! No hayride. No indoor maxes AT ALL! All 5 "mazes" were open air and the dividers were so low I could see right over them! Nothing was in the same area as previous years. What happened to the creepy village area from the faire?! Or the awesome house with the moving floors?! All gone! Truly & sincerely, do not waste your money! We did a home haunt on the way home from here and it was 10x anything at Coffin Creek for FREE! Check it out on Halloween night it's called Deadwood and it's in the city of Corona! Went last year with a small group and we loved it! The year that we went, the actors were volunteers from a LARP group. The actors were really good. They made the experience feel more intimate and real. We arrived right when they opened so there was not a lot of crowds. That made the mazes extra scary. read more

Place is fun if you live in the area or anywhere less then 20min away tops. Mazes are 2-3minutes long that's pretty cool. Skip the LA Haunted Hayride and come to Coffin Creek Haunted Village! My boyfriend and I did both this year and we have decided that moving forward this is the better option in terms of quality set-up and actors. Coffin Creek delivered a wholesome experience of haunted mazes and a hayride where you can tell that the actors really put their heart into it. This is very family-friendly and organized. Some mazes didn't have that many actors but there were props and I think the suspense of waiting if an actual person is going pop out or not all made it worthwhile! We visited on 10/30 and did not add on a Fast Pass. This may change next year as we know it may get more popular! read more

Let me say that the actors were great. The problem is everything else. The cost was ridiculous. I paid 72 dollars for an all access fast pass. There were no long lines and there were literally 5 sections. I actually take that back because the Zombie Maze was a chain link fence with "NO ZOMBIES." This is not worth the money. Maybe worth $25-$30 max. Not $50+service fee. The mazes are all open air and only one was dark. One of the mazes was long and had potential but it was basically empty of anyone popping out to scare you and very little Halloween decor. The two people working that maze made no attempt to scare. Many of the workers seemed like high school kids. They have a stage area where you will find a few vendors. This area has potential but there was zero Halloween decor. No music. Overall, quite disappointing for the price. It is a segway to something like Knotts/Universal for the younger kids but just too expensive for what you get. In comparison to last year, we'll have to rate this year 1 star. Last years haunted house, maze, asylum, cemetery and hay ride was absolutely incredible! This year was unexpectedly dismal, we were told once we arrived to expect less than last year, boy were they right!! They only implemented about 10% of the animatronics and scare tactics than last years which was 100% active. We have been going to Coffin Creek for years. This year was a big let down. No more haunted houses on top of both hills as in years past. The mazes were basically all the same. They need to bring back the haunted houses at whatever cost. They were amazing and they were what brought us back year after year. I actually loved Coffin Creek and this was my 4th year going. When I heard it was changed and they "partnered" with fear farm IE I was excited because I had never been to fear farm IE and I was under the impression that it would be a combination of the two. I went Friday night and there were no vendors like coffin creek normally has and no food except one junk food spot. They had a bar that looked like it was from a backyard house party from my early 20's, I passed. The house looking maze was actually good. The actors did a good job. The clown maze was ok. The girl clown in the front was great. The hayride had no context and was so so. It was missing the story line that we would get at coffin creek. It just seemed random. The location had potential it just wasn't used. Then there was the zombie flight or fight. Um I didn't come to run a quarter mile and be hit by a zombie then be shot. But apparently I did because I did the zombie fight. They give you guns that shoot Orby's and you are put in a group and are expected to run around the course in the dark with uneven terrain following your leader. My friend ended up falling and twisting her ankle then the zombies ran by slapping all of our backs so we were "infected". Why were zombies running so fast? I thought zombies were slower. Anyway everyone in our group was "infected" so the people that worked there shot us at the end because that's what you do with the "infected". The didn't just shoot you like twice. It was an unnecessary amount of times and honestly it wasn't fun and didn't feel good. The zombie flight we didn't do because my friend was already injured and we were over it. You will be disappointed if you're looking for freight! I invited a party of 14 and we purchased all 5 mazes with fast pass. There was only 4 mazes, and not enough scarers. The scarers that were there did not do a great job at scaring people. They lacked strobe lights, music, fog, and so many effects. We literally went thru one maze that only had 1 scarer. I was so embarrassed of the outcome and lack of effort put into this event.... I felt horrible that my friends and family spent so much money for such a terrible time. Im officially in love!! This in my opion is the best place to come for Halloween! From the smooth online ticketing system to the organization of lines and friendly helpful staff, to the actual mazes themselves. It was A++ and the best. 1.Tickets. super easy user friendly and priced right!! There were plenty of people even in VIP there was a bit of a wait in line.. Very good reason tho.. They simply dont allow any pushing, rushing shoving, people cutting up behind you or squeezing past..NO horseplay or drunks on the property. I personally have been hurt, pushed knocked down and hit in the face by drunks coming through the Haunted house I was working at in 2019. Some of the people were just crazy not drunk at all : ( Here at coffin creek None of that is allowed. Its all very professional and you can take your time walking though and brace yourself for the scares haha! Its so spacious inside too.. More about that later. 2. The Staff. Omg I could not get over how I was treated like royalty there! They had top notch professional security ready to take anything on. They were so helpful and kind too. We asked if there was any way we could get a ride back toour car since my sig other was kinda limping. They were more than happy to answer right away and bring a cart. So we take a little break and decide to go up to the village. which you can easily drive and park close to. We were just standing there in line and two young men approach us and said "Excuse me Maam and Sir we couldn't help but notice that you had some mobility issues... Would it be alright with you, if we just skipped you to the front of the line?" My heart just melted ... How precious and sweet. Just like the owner of Coffin Creek himself^^ 3.Now comes the fun part. The decor in this place is magical and so so professional. I have been to knotts, universal and some parts of the decore reminded me of the mind blowing visually stunning Harry Potter's castle. It was so roomy inside.. so squuezing to get by, no cramped tight spaces trying to save money. It was lavish inside. I wish they could get more scare actors tho.. Honestly I am glad I wasnt jumping out f my skin like at knotts. It was just right.. and whomever did the dark realm.. some of those symbols in there are the real thig when it comes to alchemy runes and tables and the craft... Don't touch anything.. You might have anew invisible friend follow you home if you dont have protection :D Even the hay ride had some really interesting character that were an eclectic mix of alien creature and tech.. thats all im going to reveal and say.. it was sooo awesome I wish I could have gotten out and danced with millions of them^^ SSo all in all its an 10/10 in my book! Just be fore warned there is a lot of walking, a bit of hiking so wear jeans an tennisshoes or hiking sandals. Its a bit dusty too. maybe get some hay and a water truck to keep the dust down. They had plenty of bathrooms portapotties with outside sinks that were nice. might need to clean up about half way through the night tho ha ha sooo worth it. I wish I could go back over and over. We went Sunday October 22nd it was the most boring Halloween event ever! We drove from Long Beach and it wasn't worth it at all. We paid $50.00 each. Don't let there advertising fool you they paid more for that than decorating and having more staff to assist with these mazes. Staff was awing and seemed as if there were being forced to go work there it was sad. They literally had 4 mazes in total it took us about 30 to finish all of them. Firstly, parking is cash only and so many people don't carry cash. They don't have an ATM on site. The female security guard that was at the parking station was an absolutely awful human being and so rude for no reason. She made me want to turn around and leave and I thought about it. Secondly, I came here a few times years ago and it was so much better. Now it's more expensive for half assed attractions. No more hayride. And instead of the beautiful bonfires they used to have, it's now just a bunch of vendors trying to get you to spend even more money on their wares. This place has become about getting as much money from you as possible, when it used to be about entertainment. When we saw and read about how much the attractions had gone downhill we opted to just try one attraction first, and we went to the one attendees said was the best (The Breach). This business model is going to fail- normally we would stay for hours and spend money on food and drinks on top of paying for all attractions (totaling near $100 plus parking). This time we were in and out in thirty minutes and got food elsewhere, totaling $17 plus parking. Sad to say I won't be coming back; more nostalgic memories that are a thing of the past. read more
