This place is quickly becoming one of our favorites in the North valley. The servers are awesome, the food is great, and the service and atmosphere are fantastic. The burgers are big and I love the Char grilled taste you get that you really can't find a lot of other hamburger places. They also have chicken and protein plates and wings and pretty much everything you can pretty much think of well maybe not everything but they have a lot of stuff. I do wish they'd expand their dessert menu a bit. But we've gone there twice in two weeks and both times to come away feeling really good and the food's been great and it's been a pleasure to go. read more

Great lunch grilled chicken sandwich. It's well marinated and tasty without the honey mustard dressing. There is a lovely melted slice of Swiss and the bun was lightly toasted. For a healthy lunch, get a side salad. We got the honey lime dressing but it was a little too similar to the honey mustard sauce that went with the sandwich. I will try the red wine vinegar next time. Good came quickly and at temperature! Our server was great about bringing us extra plates. Even though it was not very busy, she was not always on top of the Arnold Palmer refills. More than 50 % of the table tops need refinishing. It made the restaurant look tired and a little neglected. I'm in search of an excellent burger. If you're reading this, please help me find that. This place, unfortunately is not it... First, the beer selection is pretty good for a sports bar. No complains there. You have a choice on how you want your burger cooked. Red, pink or no color. I went with pink. My date did too. It took a bit for the food to come out and both burgers were way over cooked. They weren't terrible, but they were pretty dry. I didn't want to send it back but I mentioned it to my server. Ok, so Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is a cool spot. Food is usually good too. Today we went there with good intentions; I would have the Huss Brewing beer special and my wife would have happy hour Chardonnay. Except they were out of the Happy Hour Chardonnay. They had other brands but the manager would not do the deal for happy hour price. We split my beer already ordered and walked across the parking lot to Streets of New York. We had a great table outside on a beautiful AZ day. They had the Olympics and the start of the Super Bowl festivities on the tvs. Our server Teana was sweet, efficient, and friendly. One of my favorite burger spots while living in Arizona! Parking usually isn't an issue because they have a big parking lot It is super spacious with plenty of seating and tons of TVs! Service is decent and was neither good or bad. The menu had sooo many burger options and they all sounded so delicious that it was hard to choose! There are also a good variety of appetizers, sandwiches, etc. Lots of draughts, wines, and cocktails to choose from! Pricing was pretty reasonable ($10-15+) for drinks and burgers were $16-20. My favorite burger to get was the Rocky Point ($17.95) and it had pepper jack, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños, sour cream.. it was so delicious, flavorful, HUGE, and it has fresh guac! I would say it's 8/10 The chips it came with with was too overly fried so it was too hard and not as crispy as I would like. The margaritas ($12-14) are pretty refreshing and have a good kick to it without being too bitter read more

So I know I gave a decent review in the past. We've also continued to go here from time to time, but the service is usually just very scattered. We had about the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in my life last night. We were seated pretty quick. It was not an overly busy Friday evening. We noticed that it took a pretty long time to be able to get our first drink order in and we ordered an appetizer at the same time. The alcoholic drinks came out pretty quick and then two of the non-alcoholic drinks did, but the last Coke never showed up. We received the appetizer fairly quickly but it was missing half of what we asked for. Unfortunately our waitress seem to have a very interesting section so it took her a very long time to ever visit us again. So I had to go inside and track her in a manager down. I asked for a third time the items that we'd requested along with my drink. They did finally come out and we took our order instantly cuz we were afraid we might not see our waitress again. This is when things actually started to get bad. Now I want to be clear, we were three separate tickets at the same table, but what happened was crazy. After about 40 minutes our food, well some of our food, got delivered. Delivered. My wife and I received ours which was one ticket and one of the family members that was with us received their food. Three other people did not receive their food including our 9-year-old nephew. No one came by to check on us. The food that came out was already kind of room temperature at best, so those of us that had food started to eat it. About the time I finished my dinner, we had to go back inside to flag down a manager because no one had been to our table. The waitress came by one time and just said oh everything should be out soon. We bring a manager to the table who is somewhat apologetic and seemed more annoyed about the fact that things were going bad and we were telling him about it. Again, it's now been 15 to 20 minutes in between when the first set of food came out and the other people still not having food. The manager after apologizing again said he would talk to the kitchen and he would take care of some of the items on tickets because of how bad the experience was. Mind you, we watch tables that came in after us have food delivered to their table that looked piping hot. So the food finally comes out. Fortunately it was well prepared, and the rest of the people ate their food while those who had already eaten their food sat and watched. When we asked for the checks, they came out and surprise surprise there wasn't even an apologetic note on them. The manager who had sworn up and down that he was going to take care of us in some way. Did absolutely nothing and never even showed up again. If anything he avoided coming back outside the rest of the time we were there. I understand Friday nights can be busy and mistakes can happen. The customer service level and the overall service level was the most despicable experience I've had while dining in my 45 years. Although this is that place that's close by and we usually go to once or twice a month, I don't know if we'll ever be able to go back. To spend $30 a person or more that and not so much yet a decent response from a management team or our server. She seemed very nice but she didn't once apologize for anything that was going on and if I didn't go into the restaurant we probably never would have had drinks refilled. Their stuff that we ordered that never actually showed up. Okay rant over, but hopefully somebody will actually look at this who has the ability to make change and start making some serious changes in the way that they run their business. The one reason we don't go here more often already is the fact that service is spotty at best. Everyone seems very nice, but they don't seem very well organized. Food is over priced for what you get I ordered a o lineman and basically was given all grilled cheese and literally the world's smallest burger which tasted horrible. My wife got the pb n j which wasn't to bad but comparing the burger sizes hers made mine look like I ordered off the kids menu which was pitiful. Odd you paying $2.15 for fries for a hamburger order what burger place doesn't have burgers that come with fries and than you get literally a half handful of nothing fries. Fried pickles were mushy Server was super soft spoken and sweet but chose to just wing it and never came really back to give us refills. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I dine out 7 nights a week and for some reason extra well done wasn't understood. The first time the server said Allright. 2nd time she said I don't know what they can do. So asked for a manager and he was the absolute the worst person I can say I ever met. We finally decided to give it a shot, and we are so glad we did. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional customer service from our server, Charisma. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of from start to finish. She took the time to tell us about the loyalty program, offered great recommendations, and checked in at all the right moments without ever being overbearing. We ordered everything from appetizers to wings to main entrées, and even shared dessert. Every dish was delicious, and the skillet cookie was the perfect way to end the meal. Charisma's recommendations were spot-on across the board. Great food is important, but outstanding service is what keeps foodies coming back and Charisma absolutely delivered. Upon entry we asked for a booth, so they quickly cleaned a table so we wouldn't have to sit at the bar. It was a little loud for the amount of people in the building. It took us a long time to get our drinks and food, but when we did, they were delicious (they didn't put the chicken in my nachos and so the waitress had to bring it over). The boyfriend's beer wasn't as cold as he would have liked and his glass was broken (which he was cut when he drank some of his beer). When we told the waitress she brought him another beer which was nice. The waitress was nice and understanding, but to get out food and drinks took extremely long considering the fact that the place didn't have a lot of people there. read more

Was at the 67th Ave & Deer Valley location yesterday for lunch. I had the poorest experience of any restaurant, ever. They have a severe fly issue in the restaurant. I was constantly swatting flys away from me while trying to eat my lunch ! There were at least 5 flys trying to land on my food. It was disgusting. I told the server about it and she said they've had several complaints about this issue. After spending $42 for lunch and have this happen. I will never be back. Horrible!! read more

Gotta love the PB & J Sliders! I keep wanting to try something different but can't bring myself to make the change! The service is always friendly although can be slow when it's busy but that can be expected! My husband has chicken sandwiches, burgers and salads and he always says they are terrific! CONS: Parking is a major problem if u don't get to the establishment early. Sitting on the patio we could smell sewer gas, Not Good. We waited for a long time to get ours drinks from the bar? PROS: Customer Service was really good as you entered you were greeted with a smile and a welcome. We arrived after Happy hour which runs from 3-6. The place was pretty busy but we're still seated prominently. Multiple tvs with the different sport events that were on. The server was prompted in getting our drink order and drinks were out just as quickly. They were pleasant and attentive. We did not have to wait long when ready to order and they were able to give suggestions on menu items when ask. Food came out hot. Definitely had a good taste to all the items we tried. The difference sliders are a great way to try a few different burgers. Definitely hope they do a sampler of sliders in the future. Left full and satisfied. read more

The bartender charisma served me one beer barely took my order. She never came back and asked me if I wanted another beer. I was there for a couple hours watching the game with some friends. She ignore me the other bartender Gloria was much better. She asked me a couple times if I needed another beer, but Gloria was not there when I first got there, but charisma definitely is not aware of female Customer. She's all about the male ones the chances of me coming back to the place or slim to none because this isn't the first time I've experiences with charisma. read more

We haven't been here since 2021 because we weren't that impressed with it then. However, someone gave us a gift card so we just tried it again. It wasn't any better. Hubby got the Phoenix Philly and he said it bland and his tater tots were horribly salty. I got the CB & CB burger with a gluten free bun. It was the worst gf bun I've ever had. It fell apart and was horribly dry. I had to take most of it off in order to eat my burger, which was also bland. I love garlic aioli but I could barely taste it. My sweet potato fries were so salty it looked like snow all over them. Service was ok. Server was friendly. Took a long time to bring us our boxes and check. I think next time we will regift the gift card. We won't be back. read more

Have eaten here multiple times. The PB&J with chipotle bbq sauce is a great burger with a unique taste. Normally the service is slow, but today our food came quickly and was cooked perfectly. We stopped in on Sunday and sat at the bar. We were served by Charisma. She was outstanding! she was quick, made amazing drinks and has the kind of energy that makes the whole place better. Even though the place was busy, she made it feel effortless and made sure every guest was having a great time, she was doing great, I couldn't help but be impressed, we are a rowdy bunch! The food was great, all the tv's were labeled correctly for the games, and the environment was fun. we asked for the garage doors to be opened and there was no hesitation to opening them when in the past we have been told no by a different bar tender. I usually sit at the bar and get decent service... however, coming from the biz, I often see the help chit chatting and ignoring opportunities... to the point that some one will raise their hand and they will motion that they will be right there, and fishish their conversation. The food is usually on point. Love the French Dip sliders and Buffalo Chix eggrolls.. burgers are really mediocre and the price for them doesn't not match the quality... Huge opportunity for this location to step up the service and attention to detail... Note: this place has lasted the longest here and I have lived in the area for 26 years.. kudos for that... and they are a much better option than the Typsy... Keep up the good work everyone and look for opportunities to improve... remember you are there for the customers and that's what keeps you employed and pays your bills!! read more

Not bad at all. I hadn't heard really good things about this place, so I didn't go for a long time, but, it's really not bad. The burgers are generous. They really mean half pound. Some places claim half pound but that's with their thumb on the scale. And they're not only large but tasty. It's not the world's best burger, but ya, it's meaty and tastes good. As a plus too, they have tots as a side option. And, unlike most places, they know how to cook tots. They are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Most places you get mushy tots. The service was quite good as well. The drinks were refilled often, and the server was friendly. The seating is nice and comfortable. They have a ton of really nice TVs all along the wall and over the bar. Clearly a great place to watch the game, or at least keep up with what happening on Monday night or when a game is on. The TV's are side by side, wrapped all along the outside. Thankfully, it's not super loud here, even with the TV. It's a pleasant atmosphere, and you can hear your tablemates' conversation, which in many places is nearly impossible. It's not super cheap, but worthwhile. A great neighbourhood hangout! read more

Good food, but when order take out they can get the order right. The last 4/5 times the order has been wrong or incomplete.

Only four stars as the only thing that needed improvement was the service time. I had to wait for a refill and added for some things a couple times, but the server was very friendly and costly very busy she was so over the restaurant taking care of everyone. The food never misses, I love the fried pickles and the BLT. I wish they came out with different cocktails, but there a wide selection of Drafts. TVs everywhere, misters outside, big bar. I've eaten here severs times. I'm literally never impressed. I keep trying it, but nothings hit. Also, more of their food seems to be less brick and motor than out of bags. I ate the prime rib sliders. The au ju taste like typical au ju you buy and add water too. The prime rib was salty, which personally I don't mind. They came on store bought slider buns. I will say they have excellent onion rings. They're large, crunchy, garlicy, and not overly greasy. read more

This CB&CB's is not the best in regard to their other establishments. Managers and bartenders are rude and unfriendly.

Restaurants and bars are also about expectations, what type of bar and restaurant are you going to? And everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. This is a sports bar to the max and it's loud. I imagine if there's a particular game you want to watch you could probably watch it. The food is okay it's nothing special it's basically pub food, burgers are fine. Although the service was slow, when the food was served it was hot. When a place is jamming like that you have to expect that. It's about expectations this is not a high end bistro, or even some standalone restaurant it's a sports bar to the max.. read more
