The seating is tight and crowded, warm, lively, and homely. Union guys coming in and out, locals drinking coffee, and the whole place had that authentic old-school Brooklyn energy you hope to stumble into while traveling. Our waitress was amazing and honestly added so much to the experience. Super friendly, attentive, and had a heavy Brooklyn accent that somehow made the morning even better. We ordered hot oatmeal with fresh fruit and hot cocoa for the little one and she loved it. I got the grilled chicken, portobella, and fresh mozzarella hero with a cappuccino and a cannoli. Everything was fantastic, but the absolute star was their signature balsamic glaze that comes with the sandwich. Seriously unforgettable. It was so good that before flying back home, I came back one more time just to grab a slice of cheesecake and an Italian hero for the plane ride.
