This café is a wonderful spot for coffee and something sweet. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better

Tried this new bakery ( location 2224 Ave X, not Ave U) today through the UberEats and had mixed feelings, so sharing an honest review for anyone curious. The good first: the pastries did taste fresh (not stale or frozen), and the chocolate éclair itself was genuinely tasty -- smooth filling, balanced sweetness, and the best item from my order. But the execution + value were disappointing, especially for the very high prices vs to prices and sizes for similar items in multiple nearby bakeries. Packaging / delivery issue: the two éclairs were put together in one box without being secured, so during transit the chocolate ganache rubbed off and smeared onto the mango éclair. For $7 per éclair, that's not acceptable -- they need to separate or secure them properly. Almond croissant: very small and had only a thin layer of almond filling with NO sliced/shaved almonds, which is not what you expect from a classic almond croissant! Raisin & custard croissant-many people think of as a "raisin + custard spiral", traditionally called Pain aux raisins (also known as an escargot). This one tasted fresh, but had no custard at all -- basically a raisin spiral without the cream component. Mango éclair: the filling was bright orange but tasted strongly acidic, extremely sour, more like citrus or an apricot/citrus gel than mango -- no real mango flavor or aroma. It didn't smell spoiled, but it was not what was expected based on the menu. Coffee: very mediocre, flavorless and arrived barely warm, definitely Do NOT recommend wasting money on that when even regular franchise coffee shops produce much better tasting coffee. Overall: freshness is there, but portion size, packaging for delivery, and flavor accuracy need improvement. I'd come back for the chocolate éclair only if they fix packaging, size vs price & quality control issues and will tighten up the recipes/descriptions. read more

My sister and I just went to the restaurant in the morning. She love the salad dressing of veal salad and I prefer the salmon olive. The veal is a bit over-cooked for us. Also, my sister loves her vanilla milkshake. She would definitely try others drink next time. I will have a cocktail instead. read more

I have been wanting to visit this cafe for a while - the decor really grabbed my attention every time I walked by. It's very cute and cozy, fitted with plush seating! This past weekend, I finally had a chance to grab breakfast, which was great since they had a promotion going on - for every breakfast order, you will receive a complimentary iced coffee or americano. How could you resist that? It was a happy surprise. We ordered the omelet with bacon and cheese. Also got the fried eggs with bacon and ham. Their breakfasts were hearty, and the portions were pretty generous. I saw that they also have a variety of sandwiches, which I would like to try next time, along with potato pancakes!! :) The decor was so cute, we couldn't resist taking photos!! Located at 2224 Avenue X in Brooklyn, I love this place for a sweet treat. Their cakes and macarons with extra filling taste amazing! The variety of flavors and freshness of pastry are impressive. Service is good, all questions get answered by staff. They have sitting area if you want to enjoy the dessert or coffee on a spot. Pink colors make it unique and noticeable. I get something from here every time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Have been wanting to go check out this new cafe for a while since it first opened up. It's cute decor and pink interior is so inviting. Finally had a chance to sit down for an hour and enjoy their dessert and hot chocolate while chatting on the phone catching up with one of my besties. I ordered a hot chocolate which was creamy and not super sweet, looked like they made it with either milk or cream. Was delicious. I also order a macaron and their Oreo cake. Both was equally delicious but I prefer the Oreo cake slice more. The macaron was a little too sweet for my liking but the hot chocolate helped cleanse the sweet palate. For the macaron I got their strawberry Oreo macaron. As you can see there is a theme here ... I love oreos... lol Would definitely come back here again to try their brunch or lunch menu. I was scrolling through Uber per usual and bam desserts( stressed backwards) I don't see how people lose weight when stressed cause I'm going to get cake . Anyway the Macarons caught my attention but not before the red velvet cake. But I had to make a decision quick so I got macaroons cause I didn't have time for a fork! I knew it was going to be a long day so I started to drive then I said to myself and myself said huh. And I went to Sweet & Favorite and that was the best small talk I ever had! I got 3 flavors caramel, Mango Passion fruit and Lemon blueberry leaves an after taste however it's one that you want. Stop by and give it a Try. May be my new work space read more

What a happy, welcoming place this is and decked out with my favorite color - pink! We had a spinach pastry which was very tasty. For our caffeine kick we enjoyed drip coffee and cappuccino. This was easily one of the best cappuccinos I've had in a while and both were served in such lovely glasses, making it seem more of a festive treat and elevated our experience that much more. Would most definitely return to try more of the offerings. Definitely coming back for that banging cappuccino! read more

So good! I was surprised to see a bakery open in the neighborhood! & i absolutely love European bakeries! We stopped by to just check it out. The cashier was super friendly! The atmosphere is sooo cute and pink. Theres not a ton of selection BUT enough! Their macaroons are sooo adorable & so good!!! Worth the $4! We had a cheesecake as well and it was amazing!
