I like Cold Stone mostly because you get to order your ice cream and you can pick from a huge assortment of items to include in your ice cream. You can literally make your own creation with all the ingredients they have. My personal favorite happens to be the Founders Favorite. It ha French vanilla ice cream, caramel, hot fudge, almonds and a brownie. The person mixes it all up and no two licks are the same. Everything is mixed up perfectly and you just have all those ingredients working with each other to provide such a great taste. The reason why I did not review it as a perfect 5star is because as we sat at the shop you could tell that the place needs some sprucing up. The walls need some paint and in general the could stand to do some renovations or at least a facelift. It was a bit dark and dreary. If you are going to compete then you should be paying attention to the little things to continue to entice customers.

Pretty overpriced and characterless chain. Sunny Daes is a much better and more affordable option.

The service was fast and polite and the ice cream was superb. The flavors are unexplainable and the texture of all the flavors we tried was super creamy. The bubble cone is a bit pricey but worth the splurge the warm bubbles waffle pairs amazing with the cold ice cream. We tried the cookie butter, milk and cereal and the very very chocolate. All were very good. The outside seating had a fire pit and fun funky chairs making for very fun ambiance. Inside had bar stools to look out onto the fire pit area. They do allow taste testing, parking is ample and credit cards are taken. Four stars for cleanliness- trash cans were overflowing, when sitting at bar inside area you look up and the ceiling, light fixtures and facade is just covered in dust. They no longer use nitrous to craft the ice cream due to a shortage in nitrous ?

This place should replace "Milk" with "I don't want your business"…read more They have ok milkshakes when they actually have milk in stock but for the last 3 times I have gone; they have been out of milk. At the very least, this is somewhat negligent for a place calling itself milkcraft. Also... checked the reviews for the last year. Ton of 1 stars and it's been somewhat cathartic watching the owner's account argue with each of the different reviewers in the comments portion. Here's hoping that the next ice cream business that replaces this one carries more of its main product in stock.

Freezing moo has tons of flavor combinations which can be a bit daunting at first. We got the chocolate cherry and green tea lychee which were both delicious. It looks like they only offer one size, which is $7.50 and includes three toppings. This is a more expensive experience but worth it. The staff here is very friendly and pay attention to the customers and are willing to explain this unique ice cream process for people trying this for the first time. One of the employees explained that this is a chain that started out in Kansas but this is their first Connecticut location. Hoping they are able to expand!
